    We purchased an ** from Lewiston ** in Lewiston ***** on March 9th 2022. We were supposed to pick it up on March 16th. They called 2 days prior to our appointment to pick up the ** and let us know there was an issue with the slide out and it would not work unless a part was replaced. They told us they ordered the part but had no delivery date. We received no phone calls from the dealer. We began calling them and requesting updates approximately 2 weeks later. They would not return phone calls. We began calling and only speaking to the owner who assured us the part would be in on May 16th. May 16th comes and goes with no part. We receive a call stating the part was sent on May 17th. It came in on May 24th but they had ordered the incorrect part. We have waited for over 2 months for our ** that we are making payments on but cannot use.

    ****** is correct in that they did not receive their RV as the Slide Out had an issue and we wanted to make sure that it was fixed prior to them taking delivery of the unit.  Unfortunately with the way the world is today ordering parts and the delivery times can be out of our hands.  *** has remained in constant contact with **** and keeping him up to date on getting the issue resolved as well as offering to make their payments that they have already made for compensation since they do not have their trailer yet.  We are trying to resolve the problem in the best manner and not leave them hanging. Yes we have the trailer, yes the wrong part was sent to us.  However we have made ample requests to make their payments and are working diligently to make things right and get their slide fixed.  ***************** Lewiston RV Center

    Better Business Bureau:

    I have reviewed the response by the business. They agreed verbally to both my husband and I that they will refund the purchase price of the rv as well as any payments made by me. We received reimbursement for the payments made but at this time the bank has not received a payment for the loan payoff. If the loan is paid off within 2 business day as agreed by Lewiston RV, this will settle the complaint. *****************************
