The date of service was 4/24/23. I paid $1,857 for duct cleaning and the installation of a UV Air Purification System. One line item was for a Lifetime Electrostatic Filter for $129. The installer said he didn't have one in stock, but he would have one shipped to me. After a couple months of not receiving the new filter, I called the office and left a voice message. Since then I've left four messages and never received a response.

Idaho Clean Air/***** Clean Air was called by me for duct cleaning services performed on 7/24/2023. I purchased a UV Air Purification System for $499.00 and a Lifetime Electrostatic Filter for $129.00 (Total $628.00). I was told to wait a few weeks for the Filter and that it is purchased from *********** I tried calling ******** and could never get through to this business. I also began calling ****************************** Clean Air (different numbers/same business) after 2-3 weeks of purchase because I did not receive the Filter. I called so many times I have lost count. A female office assistant (J) answered twice and told me she would give the message to my male sales associate (J) and would ask him to call me. No responses. I left many voice mail messages and sent several emails as well. There were a few times the voice mail was full. Some of the dates included 8/29, 8/30, 9/5 and several other dates I failed to note. Finally, after no responses & no product, I called again on 10/20/23 (3 months later) and a person (D) answered the phone. I gave him the information and that I want the Filter or a refund. He apologized, told me that J was no longer with the company, & suggested that it may never have been ordered. However, he said he would investigate & resolve my issue and get back to me that following Monday or Tuesday (10/22 or 23). It is now 11/6/23 and have no product, no refund, and no response from the business. Since the time I purchased the products, I read reviews on Yelp and the BBB about many similar complaints. So many complaints that they should be considered fraudulent and not allowed to do business in the State of Idaho. I would like a refund to purchase an Electrostatic Filter elsewhere. I have also seen them for sale at a much lower cost than $129.00! I can provide the original work order and receipt upon request. There is no # on the work order, only my name, the services, and the charges.

We had a Valpac coupon and contacted this company to clean our vents. The coupon rate was $7/vent. The technician, *************************, said we had "excessive microbial growth" and upsold ** on services that I now doubt we needed. He quoted a price of $65 for a lifetime electrostatic filter, but on the invoice it was entered as $129. The overpriced filter never even came. I tried 4 or 5 times to call the company. A woman did answer on the first call, basically told me I was wrong about the quoted filter *****, and said she'd check with **** and return my call. The company has not answered my calls since then. The work was performed on 7/31 and it is now 10/1.

We called to have Idaho Clean Air do a cleaning of our venting system on 8.10.23 as we had a chemical smell in our home. Their tech **** showed up on time and did the service. He recommended a Lifetime Electrostatic Filter for $129 and said it would take 2 weeks to arrive, which has Never arrived as the tech wrote down the incorrect address that does not exist. We have called 4 times and actually spoken to someone to ask for a replacement and have just gotten the run around each time saying that the office Mgr ******* or the Owner **** would call or email us which has also never happened. We have also called multiple times during business hours with a no answer, I also messaged the company on their ******** page with no reply. At this point we are not sure a service was even done as we still have a chemical smell at times. We paid Idaho Clean Air $1614.00. We are not asking for the full fee to be refunded however, we are asking for our $129 to be refunded by company check so that we can purchase a replacement. We would also like to file this complaint so that this does not happen to another Idaho consumer. Please Advise Regards, *********************

The transaction took place on 8/28/23. I paid $1,535 for home air duct cleaning and sanitizer treatment, A/C coil cleaning, installation of a UV air purification system and an electrostatic air filter. All these services were provided with the exception of providing the electrostatic air filter as they did not have the correct size in stock. I was charged $129 for the filter. They said they would order the filter and I would receive it in a week or two. After 3 weeks I still had not received the filter, so I called them to check on the status. The woman who answered said she was not in the office that day but said I could call back on Monday to confirm the status and get a tracking number if the filter was not in yet. On Monday I called and could not get anyone to answer the phone so left a message that I was looking for the status of the filter. I tried multiple times over the next few days and could not get anyone to answer the phone but I left a couple of additional messages. I called a couple of days ago and again could not get anyone to answer and now can no longer leave a message as I receive the notification that the "Idaho Clean Air is full and cannot accept new messages at this time". Since I could not get ahold of anyone via phone, I went down to their office address and found the door locked and no signs of activity.

On 2/28/22, Idaho Clean Air cleaned my air ducts. At that time, I also ordered an electrostatic air filter for $129. The worker stated it would be delivered within 2- 3 weeks. On 3/21, I contacted the company and the woman stated they haven't recieved their order of filters and they expected them to arrive the following week (3/27-3/31). On 4/11, I called again requesting a refund on my credit card as the filter had still not been delivered. She stated that they don't give refunds on air filters. That they could follow up on the order. Her casual attitude is why I am following up with the BBB. As I am pretty sure the air filter is not coming and that she will not follow up on the order. My current air filter is quite dirty stated the worker. So I need to buy an air filter since the company has not sent me the one I ordered. There are air filters available from other companies and this is keeping me from getting one.

Around the 1st of Dec 2022 I contacted this business to do furnace venting clean out. The ad said they charged per vent I own a rental, that tenant complained of an odor. I gave the address of 2312 N 9th and reiterated that I was to be charged per vent. It was Dec 13th when I was contacted, I told the man I was in a dentist chair and under the influence of medication, told him to contact me later. Before I even got home he called again and said he was cleaning the vent on 9th street and needed immediate payment of $225.00 , because I was still under the medication I didn’t think to ask questions and gave him a card number. The next day I realize that I had really overpaid him. I contacted the office asked for corrections, was told they couldn’t do that. She said they talked to Dan, I question, Dan? She agreed the address was 2312 but they went to 2314! I told them to have the manager call back. Never heard back. I called several more times never heard from management. Next thing I get a text from tenant in 2012 saying the clean out guy was there. But he had to talk to me before he could do the work, since he unable to reach me (I was out of range) he charged the tenant $280.00. This was not ever agreed on. My tenant would never know the conversations I had the with office. The total bill, at the max, as agreed would be $60.00 Just today 1/6/2023 I was finally able to talk to management she said we do not give refunds. I even agreed to pay for the rental he wasn’t supposed to do and the one they were hired to do for the per vent fee. She still disagreed to refund or agree. I suggested this was fraud as the workman told the tenant her had to clean the furnace. I had had all the furnaces cleaned and maintenance just weeks before. The fact I was extremely overcharged the workman lied to get the tenant to more work I believe this company is fraudulent and dishonest. I’ve owned my rentals for 50 years and never have I received such treatment.

My grandma has ******** felt that we should get our ducts cleaned. $8-9 per duct. I was roped into paying $1875.00 and promised a metal air filter, 2 months later.. no filter, furnace keeps throwing error codes with out it (new house built 2019.)We called, emailed, left voicemails for weeks with no reply. So, I called from a different number (immediately after the ignored call) and THEY ANSWERED. I was handed off to someone else, Once ******* got on the phone, she said our filter is back ordered 4 weeks, well... its been 2 months; She had no reply other than "well, I dont know what to tell you". My furnace is not working because there is no filter and its now snowing. the service was done September 10. I then confronted her about the ignored phone calls, emails, and she said "Well im sorry you don't understand that we are busy". We got into a heated argument and hung up. She proceeded to call my husband and she called ME IGNORANT to him. I am so disgusted by their customer service, lack of honesty, integrity. I would like a partial refund for the $129 filter we did not receive.

I called Idaho Clean Air to clean home vents and ducts per a coupon I received in a "valupak" mailing. The tech came to our home on Sept. 2 and started the "hard sell" adding price upon price for things that needed to be done. I authorized work. As tech left, I noticed his SMALL truck with ******** plates thinking that odd. First, why out of state plates IF they have truly been in business for ten years, and the small truck could not begin to hold all of the "tubes" needed to clean our ducts and vents. Plus I paid for a ** light for sanitization, which I have not received - that cost an additional $500. I tried to contact the office with my concerns and wanting to cancel the ** light as didn't trust that installation ever being completed. I contacted Idaho Clean Air using the phone number given on the invoice on Sept. 5 / 6/ 7/ and 8. Never an answer, left messages. I also emailed them on Sept. 7 with concerns. Absolutely NO RESPONSE. The technician's name = *******. Total amount paid $1,754 which includes the 500 for uv light which has not even been installed. I do not think the vents were cleaned properly, as no truck to handle this type of cleaning, I canNOT reach the company, and never received ** light.
