              I purchased 32 solar panels from Backwoods Solar primarily because I wanted a product that was made in *******. They offer ******* panels which were purported to be made in the iron range *********. I live in **, so supporting local made these panels even more attractive. I could have purchased panels from another company that were made in ***** or elsewhere. After receiving the panels, I was very disappointed to find that the panels were actually made in ******. Nothing against our neighbor to the North, but I paid a premium price for a *** made panel. The Backwoods Solar website has flashy advertising stating that these are 'Made in *******'. Shipping for this order was almost $1000, so returning the product is basically out of the question. I reached out to the company via e-mail and haven't heard any response. I expect financial compensation for this company's false advertising. More important, I want to make certain that other consumers don't find themselves in the same situation. Backwoods Solar needs to update their advertising to accurately reflect the product they are selling.
