MGM are crooks. They charge you $850 for what they call a pre sale inspection. It's a scam. I asked a dozen times for a copy of this inspection and never go it. *********** ***** promissed to send it. Never did. 2 days after getting my truck the steering had a shimmy. I got all 4 wheels balanced. Tech told me 1 bolt was loose and 1 missing on the upper control arm. Other issues: brake lights didn't work. Header bolts loose. Both front brake calipers shot. Power steering rack and pinion leaking and needed replacement. Front inner and outer wheel bearings fried. Short making the door poppers inoperable. Everytime I called ***** he promissed to get with his boss to discuss and refund the $850 I paid for an inspection that was so obviously not done. Now ***** doesn't answer my calls or respond back to messages left on his phone. DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM THIS SCAM OF A COMPANY! They are rip off artists. **************MGM Classic Cars

We appreciate you reaching out to us regarding your recent purchase and we understand your concerns. We have been in contact with ****** and was able to resolve this matter. Again, most vehicles we sell are between ***** years old. They range in all kind of conditions, level of restoration, miles and age. Therefore they are all priced differently. We invite all our potential customers to come see before they buy or if need be hire a 3rd party inspection. We operate in a FULL DISCLOSURE manner and every potential customer has a different opinion of a "******************** CAR".******************************Review fromTom M

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE GUYS!I leave this review only to help someone else from making the mistake I did. I bought a 67 chevelle November 23. They advertised the car at a price which we agreed to, after I made a decision to fly 1300 miles to pick up the car they raised the price $1500, they said for taxes. The addition was not for anything but additional profit for them. They agreed to have the car ready to drive. After flying there from *******, they could not get the car started, jumped it and said "don't shut it off". To make a long story short the vehicle broke down on me the next day. Too many things wrong with it to list, but just to give you an idea, bought a new batter within hours of getting the car, the automatic choke was stuck closed, which they knew about because their answer to that was to set the idle adjustment up to 1500 RPM, (It should be about 850). Anyone who knows cars knows this fouled the plugs, which had to be change the day after purchasing. The car was not in time, and the harmonic balancer was 90 degrees off. So it was put on wrong when engine was tore down. Proof they never put a timing light on it. The car had headers, the bolts holding the headers on were so loose that you could take them out with your fingers without the aid of a wrench. Of course I knew I had an exhaust leak, and had to pull headers and install a quality gasket. You get the idea, these guys are liars and do not know cars very well. They buy them at auctions, **** them up and pass them on without inspecting the car, as they promise they would. Do not buy from these clowns.MGM Classic Cars

1 star8/15: Contact ************************* regarding a **** Chevelle. Paid a $500 deposit on same day.8/22: Paid the additional $2,069 in fees for delivery, inspections, etc.8/25: MGM fully funded for remaining balance due outside of my deposit. Once financed amount funded, I initiated the bank transfer for the deposit.8/28: Bank transfer complete and MGM fully funded for purchase of vehicle.8/30: Notified of blown head gasket during inspection drive. Inspection fee was paid on 8/22 as noted above. Was told by **** via text "it's not a big job." As of 8/30, delivery tentatively scheduled for week of 9/11.9/11 - 9/13: No communication from **** regarding delivery, only texts of "Can I call you later." Would eventually get **** on the phone and have him tell me the shop ignored the repair, the engine's out of the car doing the gaskets and "other simple 'stuff' like bulbs." Was told during initial call on 8/15 that all lights, signals, etc. worked.9/18: Phone call with ******************* indicating their shop needed an additional 14days to complete repairs and delivery would now be 10/2. Photo attached of repairs.9/19 - 10/2: Multiple pictures of the engine out of the car and eventually finally in the car on 10/2. Car not delivered on 10/2 as promised even though **** on multiple occasions indicated everything was still on track.10/3: Still no delivery booked and now needs new fuel pump.10/4: No delivery and no communication from ****.10/5: Communication received from transportation company confirming delivery for 10/6. They had the wrong address.10/6: Car arrived with a flat battery - was jumped to get off trailer.10/6 - 10/17: I've driven the car less than 50 miles since delivery. So far, it has a power steering fluid leak and a slight oil leak. The radio doesn't power on even though it appears to be a new unit. They also sent DMV paperwork after temp tags expired, paperwork was wrong, took another 5wks to get it corrected. No extension on tag offered or any kind of remedy.Review fromJames J

5 starsBought an El Camino back in November. I worked with their sales rep, when I asked for additional photos of the undercarriage they provided numerous photos. They informed me upfront that the 500$ deposit was non refundable. They put me in touch with a finance company and we were able to get the deal done. Car was shipped and is everything I could've hoped for. I knew I was buying a 40+ yr old car and for the price it would not be perfect, but it is everything I had hoped for.Review fromJeff B

1 starI should have walked away. Got the run-around for a week about car being detailed. When we got there, car was buried 30+ cars deep. It had not just returned from being detailed. The car looked good. The engine and underside looked good. I was told we couldnt test drive it because of the weather. Started the car in the warehouse. Sounded good. Salesman ****** said the car had need serviced and was in mint shaped. I asked if there were any leaks. He said absolutely NONE. We decided to buy as long as they fixed the hood shocks and fog lights. When I went to pick up, I was told the detailer was off and ***** was going to get the car washed. I told him no car washes. He ended up breaking my lower antenna and will not fix it. He told my wife and I hed send us a gas card for our troubles. He never did. I got the car home and found oil all over my floor. After contacting the original owner, I discovered it had a rear main seal leak. It would appear the dealership covered that up and outright lied to me about it. When I contacted the salesman about the issues, I was given the run around and ultimately nothing. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.Review fromMark B

I was considering purchasing a vehicle from MGM but since I live in ****, MGM recommended a local business to do an appraisal/inspection on the vehicle. They recommended ***** St. ******* from Shetland Auto. I spoke with *****, he requested, and I sent him, a check for $300 to perform the inspection and to send me pictures and a report. I never heard back from him and MGM had nothing more to add after I contacted them. This took place in July 2023. I trusted them, my mistake.MGM Classic Cars

Shady company. Bought a car nothing but problems. Told everything was working As should be. Upon delivery leaking oil - transmission fluid. Brakes failed to work . Having to replace all seals in transmission and oil pan. When in the process of buying the car was getting 2-3 calls a day . Upon receiving car they will not answer any correspondence of any kind. Would never recommend anyone to buy a toy car let alone one that costs 10s of thousands of dollars.MGM Classic Cars

1 starUpdate 6/13- (pics and report provided) took to shop and found the header has been bashed touching an electrical wire to the point of melting the power steering pump. Wrong engine mounts used, wrong headers used. PICTURES DONT LIE!!Update 5/20- got under car found small oil leak, and several very obvious exhaust leaks from shoddy welding of pipes. RUN!! I bought a 67 Camaro from this place, today I went to start it for the second time and nothing. ZERO power to anything, I replaced the battery NOTHING. The toggle switch has no power going to it so it looks like an electrical nightmare is on my hands. If you want a very expensive project car waste your money here, I spent 50k for a lemon, a car that is useless.
