I was referred to PHS by a company they incorporated. Very impressed by their knowledge, number of people who came to complete the project of removing 100+ years of plumbing system, (3rd floor to basement), honesty regarding contract {they estimated 3 dys, took 5 dys., but charged me for 3!}. I used them ever since for furnace replacements and smaller plumbing issue. I like their system of scheduling fall and spring check-****

Business Model of this company is very Shady. They use pressure tactic to get the business. I scheduled the maintenance for my Heating system on October 11, 2023. Technician ************************* came to perform the services. Before the technician started the service, I openly told the Technician that I do not like a pressure sales tactic, therefore I would like you to perform the basic tune up and anything need to be done I simply need to know. I will decide. After consulting with other company., I gave $100 cash to the Technician simply to do his tune up and not push me to buy any services. In spite of my request technician ************************* after checking one furnace said that it is producing too much CARBON MONOXIDE and he has instruction from the company to shut down the furnace. I simply ignored his suggestion saying that I will have it checked by other qualified person and asked him to do the Tune up on my other 3 furnaces. With his permission I called an expert to evaluate his recommendation. Technician **** inspected the second furnace and told my wife about Carbon Monoxide and suggested to change the Heat Exchanger on both furnaces. When my expert (not licensed) questioned the technician he said he will be back in 10 minutes. We waited for more than 1 hour to find out the Technician left without even completing the work and open furnace. When I called the company to complain, they agreed to refund $160. I asked them that Technician should return my $100 which I have not received even after two weeks. I will be filing complaint with the ******** ********** of ************ and Financial Regulations against the Technician ************************* and against the SHADY practice of this company.

As we responded elsewhere, we understand you spoke with ******* and were informed that ************** **** was very uncomfortable with the situation you put him in while he was in your home. He did not want to accept your cash and tried multiple times to give it back to you. When you brought in an unlicensed handyman without HVAC credentials and he began yelling at ****, the situation escalated and ***** manager advised him to leave your home immediately. You were also told you will be receiving your $100 back via check, which does take a couple of weeks to process and make it through the mail. We advised you to select a different company to provide you with service going forward, as we value our employees and do not want to put them in these types of situations. If you are unclear about anything we discussed or would like to follow up on your check, please contact us to review further.

Crazy outrageous prices. This is not a small company as people are lead to believe. It's more of a marketing scam. I would not recommend because they are not honest on their website and they are priced too high for sevices.

Do not use these people! I am a senior citizen, used Perfect Home Services in Aurora, Ill. per referral to repair my furnace. The tech arrived as scheduled, went right to work. He replaced a part, fixed the issue on Christmas Eve, did a great job! Months later, my water heater went out so I called the Perfect Home Services in ********, Ind., which is closer to my home - Big Mistake!! A very unprofessional man showed up, took pictures, ranted & raved about how bad it was. He required me to pay over $1000.00 before any work was started, which I did under duress. 3 days later, 2 Perfect techs finally came, messed around, disconnected pipes. One said they were done & tried to leave without even testing for leaks, though we could still smell gas. Reluctantly, he tested & his gas gauge went crazy, showing strong gas leaks! He brushed it off, said it would take a day for the pipes to set & would be fine. Well, he lied! Next day, I couldn't reach Perfect, so I called ********* who fixed it. They said the Perfect tech left the pipes disconnected & didn't use pipe sealant. I called Perfect repeatedly, they never followed up. By then, I was fed up & refused to pay for their ******************************* Fortunately, after a month they'd never cashed my check, so I put a stop payment on it. I called Perfect several times, never got anything settled. I left many messages, got maybe 2 call backs messages asking me return calls via the general phone number, still nothing but the runaround. 3 months later, they sent me a collections letter saying if I didn't pay, they would send me to a collections agency. They never called me nor returned my $1000+ check. I sent them a letter to discuss this & at this point, have not heard from them at all, thank goodness!! I refuse to pay them for doing no work & trying to scam me! I feel bad that the Aurora folks have to suffer, but ********************, Ind. bunch is not on the up & up. Again, do not use these people!!!

***, we are terribly sorry to hear about your experience with Perfect Home Services' ******** location. We find anything less than a 5-star experience to be unacceptable and take your feedback seriously. I have escalated this to our client care team for internal investigation. Please give us up to a week to reach out to you to see how we can make this right. If you should need to reach back out to us, please ask for *******. If she is not immediately available, she will get back to you as soon as possible.Sincerely, ******** @ Perfect Home Services

Very sad. They took advantage of a single mom. Last year, I just bought a home and was trying to stop a leak in the bathtub area. They didn't even check what the problem was, neither before nor after changing the pipes and charging me. I told them the leak was still there. I had to call a bunch of times before they reluctantly returned. They said the problem was the tiles and grout. If they knew that why did they change the pipes? Why didn't they tell me before hand? Why didn't they check? Rip off. They're only out to make money off the backs of people. Not about quality service. Very disappointing.

Perfect Home Services took over our long-time HVAC company last year. They came out when we had a heating problem and said our furnace was inefficient and not installed properly and we needed a new furnace. We agreed and a new furnace was installed. We bought their VIP package.Fast forward to March of this year. They called to schedule routine maintenance on our Air Conditioning unit. We were pleased that they reached out to us and we scheduled maintenance for today, April 21st.On Tuesday morning of this week, they called to see if we could move our appointment to that afternoon but as we could not make that work they replied, "No problem, we'll see you on Friday."Yesterday morning we received an automated message reminding us of our appointment for today, 4/21.Yesterday afternoon we received a call telling us that there was a glitch in their scheduling system, they were overbooked, but would gladly reschedule us for their next available appointment on JULY 1ST. Who wants a season checkup on their air conditioner in July? And why were we not notified until less than 24 hours before our appointment? And how is this VIP service? No one could answer those questions. We spoke with 2 different members of their staff and were told by both they would "escalate our concerns as urgent and request someone call us." As no one else from Perfect Home Services has taken the time to reach out to us we can only surmise that our concerns and our business mean little to them and we'll move on, finding a company that values customers and customer service above all else.

Had me pay for an annual membership and then cancel my appointment/all services the day before with no refund. Services are not clear and makes it seem like you are getting a full service when your not. I would leave zero stars but thats not an option.

I have a 9yr old furnace. The Perfect Home guy comes out for an annual cleaning, our first one by Perfect Home after they bought out the previous firm we used. He goes way overboard in telling us what he felt was scientific detail about how the furnace was completely and utterly shot, dangerous, we should not turn it back on. He literally would not turn it back on, had to explain to my husband how to turn the unit on after he left. He also seemed offended we wanted a second opinion on a multi-thousand dollar purchase! We felt odd about the entire situation and immediately contacted another company trusted by our neighbors to get a second opinion. The new company guy says, basically, it needs a good cleaning. We showed him the pictures and what we were told. He explained that, as much as he would like for that to be true because then he could sell us a new unit, pretty much nothing we were told was how a furnace actually works. Honestly, nothing. What was happening with the unit, a minor thing he said, he expected mostly resolved when we changed the filter. That was true. He said it would improve even more with a good cleaning. Perfect Home tried to scare us into spending, what $7-10k. They tried to make my husband fear he would kill his family if we turned the unit back on. It was a scam. Thank goodness we realized quickly. Oh, we did schedule a house calculation for a new furnace, in case we were wrong. They sent the guy out that night BUT when he had been there 5mins and started explaining how we would be able to pick our new unit that night, we explained we would be getting a second opinion. He immediately said "let's not do this, if I don't sell you a unit tonight it hurts my numbers, so you go get your second opinion and maybe we do this later." *****, he ran out the door at the mention of a second opinion.

Exploitation of elderly cash. Please !! DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY ANY MONEY!! This is a company that has managers that work for managers who work for a president. Basically I am a son whos mom just got taken to that bank l. I am embarrassed to say how much they charged her. Please, do NOT give this company any business . I swing by after work to check on her and she has signed waiver rights to all of her decisions and final price . Close to $20,000 they locked her in at . Yes 20k She doesnt know better to get second opinion or ask if thats a final price. Or cash price . By the time I get there I call their office to negotiate price and after 3 calls , the managers manager told me the president of the company is ok with me disagreeing on final price but thats her fault for not knowing and they are business driven. some get a furnace for 6-7k some pay way more! Its just what the customer agrees to pay . Please , read this and search someone else for help with your furnace or a/c

This is the information sent to me from Perfect Home Services. The Amana furnace is only 3 years old, and *** suggested I spend $7,000 on a new furnace. I had 2 other furnace companies come to ************ told me there was nothing wrong with the furnace. The other company said: His theory is correct but his diagnosis was wrong. The reason for the rollout and the wear at the burner entry was due to a bad gas valve allowing gas into the ignition area when it was supposed to be completely closed, causing the explosion. A new gas valve was installed free of charge since it is covered under Amana warranty. This is a summary of the Perfect Home Services technician. My findings were with the rollout switches both of them had tripped what this means is that there was a mini explosion inside of the unit when the burners lit pushing enough pressure in the back to Pop or trip the limit in the system. Found Get the static pressure was 1.1 inches of water column which is over twice as much as what the manufacturers recommendations for the system would be static pressure is much like bread blood pressure do you have volume of air that goes through the system and the static pressures of measurement of how hard it is is pushing out or pulling in on everything around it to try to get the volume of air through the system. Removing the furnace and putting a bigger filter rack in and a filter box underneath it would help aid in lowering the static pressure of the system. I also found that the exhaust is right at the border of being too long.Exhausted and has a bunch of elbows in which all increase the length of the pipe. After going over all of this information. It was decided to have a design consultant come out to go over replacement options. The design consultant suggested a new $7,000 furnace. Grateful that another company saved me $7,000. The *** never mentioned a warranty, they just tried to scam me into a new furnace.
