My son graduated from this swim school program on 8/9/2023. We were charged $112 for 5 lessons for the month of August. However, because my so. Graduated, there are 3 lessons that we will no longer need. The swim school refuses to give us a refund. I have spoken to ****** at **************** location to no avail. They said we should just keep coming to swim. When my other son graduated a year ago, we were given a $75 refund. They absolutely refused to give a refund now and refused to give confirmation that we are removed from their automatic billing.

Per our policy, when families wish to leave the program for any reason, we require a 30 day written notice. These policies were signed by the **** and *********************** on August 17th, 2023. With that, the family has swam with us for quite some time & is aware of this policy. When they initially requested to withdrawal, we held them to the same standard as all families - 30 days notice. After talking with Dad, previous to receiving this complaint notice, we did honor an immediate drop & told the family we would honor their refund of $84. This has been communicated to the family. I checked state of refund today, and the individual from the corporate team who processes refunds had not yet processed it. I did just push it through - confirmation of refund is attached.

My 3 year old was berated by the swim school manager at ***************** bear paddle. This is the second time this has happened. this time, my son cried. This occurred in front of numerous parents, kids, and a teacher named ****** yelled at my son from across the pool. my son son was sitting on the top step and placed his goggles in the water. the instructor didnt watch him as she was with another child floating. my son was fine, but the kind of degradation given to a 3 year old was unacceptable. this is the second time its happened. I feel that both ****** and the manager of this pool should be removed. ****** has previously said in person that she doesnt want to teach my child. that hes stupid, and that perhaps I should consider pulling him from class. This was addressed with the manager who berated him today, previously. ****** was moved from the class , and today pulled this stunt of yelling at my son from across the pool. A managers job is not to discipline my child. a swim instructors job is not to discipline my son. my son also swims at **** and if anyone there age 2-3 needs help or if there are too many kids in the class, they place another instructor in immediately to help. I videoed post event, and I want my money back for last session and the one currently. as a former swim instructor, an ER nurse, a D1 swimmer with a son that is very safe in the water - this kind of behavior from adults to a 3 year old child is unacceptable. Not a single person came up to me at all to discuss what happened. hands on my son is child abuse. Physically pulling him out of the water and slamming his bottom down is not okay. the manager was a heavier set Indian female. good resolutions should be to have less kids in the class or have 2 instructors to help in that age group. Id like my money back for 2 sessions and Ill gladly give my business to the **** program which seems to have it figured out. the manager and ****** should be released from job.
