My parked vehicle was hit in the parking lot of Hobby Lobby on the evening of September 29, 2021. I notified my insurance immediately on the morning of September 30th. My insurance immediately initiated contact with AllState. On the afternoon of October 1st I was contacted by an AllState agent who assured me that their insured was 100% at fault and they would take care of everything including a rental that was equivalent to the vehicle I currently drive. On September 30, 2021 I dropped my damaged vehicle, which wasn't drivable, at ***** body shop and obtained a rental from **** Budget on the same day.On November 9, 2021 I picked up my vehicle and returned the rental on the same day. **As of today (January 7, 2022) my vehicle is still not completely fixed from this accident, but it is at least drivable.AllState requires the claimant to pay for ALL RENTAL FEES UP FRONT and wait for reimbursement! This is absurd and has caused quite a financial strain. Not only have I had to pay up front I have incurred over $500 in interest fee's due to AllState not reimbursing me as originally promised. I was told to submit my bills via their "special email" and wait for reimbursement. On November 9th, *********************************************************************** the amount of $2,057.05 and I included the incurred interest charges on my credit card in the amount of $493.49 (up to this point). I received payment of the $2,057.05 on November 16th.On November 17th, 2021 I received a final rental fee **** (charged to my credit card) in the amount of $861.45.I submitted this final rental fee **** to AllState on November 17, 2021. On December 1st at 10:23 am I received a voicemail from ******* with the ************************** informing me I have been paid in full and they are not responsible for interest charges. I am still owed rental charges of $861.45 and have now accrued interest charges in the amount of $691.62 from Oct 2021-Janaury 2022.
