After several discouraging and hopeless attempts with other credible trainersFINALLY, I discovered Dog Training Elite.The owner, ***, came to my home and actually took time to learn my dogs behaviors, needs and reactors.He spent time talking to me and understanding my frustrations.I had a very challenging and needy rescue.I say had because DTE taught and left me with an empowering skillset. We have a whole new way of communicating and things are a lot less stressful.I feel like the whole DTE team knows me and my dog, ****, personally. They are a very encouraging and honest team that loves what they are doing.Other companies promised the same training outcomes, BUT, left me feeling hopeless and in the same position they met me in.I highly recommend DTE **** ******** ****

When I chose to get a service dog, I looked for somewhere that would help me train my dog from puppy all the way through service dog. The only place I found was DTE. After working with them for the past twelve months, I would chose them all over again.*DTE provided a personality assessment for my pup before I adopted him.*DTE came to my home and helped me train my pup during weeks 8-16.*My dog did 2 weeks of boot camp and jumped ahead in his quickness in listening to basic commands. *This year we have attended group classes and improved obedience in a wide variety of settings and with creative distractions. Now that my pup is a "teenager," we are working on not responding to other dogs when they are being agressive.*DTE is quick to answer questions I have about training during the week and give me creative ideas in continued training.*This past year I have taken my pup with me almost everywhere in public and DTE has guided me in how to handle different scenarios.I have NEVER trained a dog before or had a dog (other than an outdoor farm dog when young). I get compliments ALL THE TIME on how well behaved my 12 month old dog is. I'm no super hero and my dog is no saint! We have just applied with skills that ******** ****** *** and ***** have taught us. You have to put in the work, but it is worth every *****.

I contacted *** at Dog Training Elite Western Chicago after researching other training facilities for a reputable Service Dog Training Program . *** explained their Service Dog Training Program in full detail and thereafter I felt like this is the right place to be. I have been in this program for 2 months and am extremely happy with the way the training is progressing. The 5 lessons at home are completed and were most valuable. Group training is going well with our favorite place being the Promenade in ***********. Most important is the Staff who are well trained in what they do and extremely understanding of each client's dog and their owner's needs. My son , who has special needs is actually going through the training with his soon to be Service Dog and Staff are very supportive, understanding and patient with him during the training, which is most important. I woud highly recommend this program for whatever type of Dog Training is warranted.

Everyone is truly dedicated to their customers and their dogs. ********* both Love going to the weekly group training classes even though ***** has completed his training we continue to engage with everyone it's such a positive experience. ***** knows when he is going to school. Dog training Elite has been the most positive experience that I have had with dog training. I chose the option of having a trainer (*****) come to my home once a week. She is professional, always on time and my dog *** loves when she comes. Every week our sessions have been very knowledgeable and also fun. The changes in my dog have been so positive. He went from a crazy 80 pound puppy to such a gentleman. I took him to my grandsons championship baseball game that had kids of all ages running, scooters, throwing *****, etc and he walked with me looking up to me. He sat by my side during the game and when approached by many people he sat quietly and enjoyed the attention. This would never have happened a few weeks ago. We start group training this week and we cant wait to see what is in store for him and I. I highly recommend Dog Training Elite. It was such a blessing that I found them and so pleased with everything about them. *** and I are looking forward to a long relationship with Dog Training Elite!!
