1 starDon't buy from Electric Generators Direct, or apparently ANY of the businesses under the umbrella or Power Equipment Direct (see reviews). Our 20K Kohler unit ( order EGD4079378) arrived damaged and open. ****** honored the replacement within days (RA# ********), but this group of clowns was not able to get a replacement out to me YET!!! I purchased on March 5, 2025 and it is April 16th now and we do not have a generator, We repackaged an extra secure and safe return ship to the Kohler folks, after the clowns provided the correct BOL...as the origional they sent me was for them to ship to Kohler. A simple replacement can't be provided. Communication is there...but blaming ******, R&L trucking, and everyone but themselves.Go somewhere else to get what you are considering from Power Equipment Direct, save yourself the frustration!!4/3/25 From Kohler:RA# ******** From Electric Generators Direct...on 4/9/25...."Your replacement unit has been shipped via RL Carriers under tracking *********" That is not a valid BOL or PU number....on 4/14/25 "We apologize for the delay in response. Your shipment was shipped out from our warehouse on 4/9. We are contacting RL Carriers for an update on your tracking. We should have an update shortly"on 4/15/25 "Rest assured our warehouse team is confirming your shipment information. We are working with RL Carriers as that is the carrier the shipment is with. There is mis communication with the carrier as they do not have the correct tracking number which is why it is taking some time"Today 4/16/25 "We apologize for all the delays and troubles on this ***** Per our logistics team and warehouse, they have advised they did in fact ship out the replacement unit, but they believe Rl Carriers has lost the shipment. I will newer do business with this company after I go charge 9 times for the same purchase to my credit card. This web store is not acuter on inventory and payment process. I would never recommend to any one its not worth hassle , your time on the phone to correct theirs ************ better go to near supply house to take care your business better .Power Equipment Direct, Inc.

Be careful with this company. They send me a pump that didnt work properly. I told them that I wanted to return it and they said that I couldnt return it because I had plugged it in.Power Equipment Direct, Inc.

We are sorry that you are experiencing issues with your sump pump. In order to determine whether it works or not, it would have had to have been installed, not simply plugged in. That is why we are unable to offer you a refund or return at this time. Please refer to our Return Policy for more details. We are more than happy to work on a resolution with you but need you to call the manufacturer to do some basic troubleshooting first. Be careful with this company. They charged me twice, three days apart for the same order for $5,041.36. They came up with some lame excuse that their system sometimes does this. Then after calling them it takes 7-10 for a refund to my credit card account. That is as lame as it gets!Power Equipment Direct, Inc.

Closest thing to a scam out there. Horrible communication, damaged shipment, and zero-responsibility. Sent photos of ***** delivering opened/damaged box and they will not honor. Awesome customer service, I ordered a 22kw system on Thursday, it was delivered the next day, It was missing the transfer switch, so I had to wait until Monday because I didn't immediately report it upon delivery( don't do that) I reported it first thing Monday, The transfer switch was delivered the next day. Very unprofessional company, had to cancel my order due to lack of communication regarding delivery order, my order was due to ship and then the same day I received a delayed shipping the added an extra 45 days which at no time they mentioned the item was on back order. I got ** mini-split system. It was easy to reach the company for the first time and is easy now to continue with Customer support. All personnel are knowledgeable and supportive and maintain a swift line of communication, both by phone and via email.Their engineer worked with me on the best design and composition of the system for my location in ********** and the location of the units in the house. The price was fair and discounted as promised.The delivery was swift, with the delivery status updates emailed regularly and accessible via the web.All hardware works. One glass piece was cracked. We discovered it while unpacking the pallet two months after the delivery. The company accepted our explanation of the delay compared with the standard 30-day period upon delivery and how we discovered the damage and promptly sent us a whole new unit, without any extra charge.The Company stands behind its promises, reasonable, understanding, and reliable.Power Equipment Direct, Inc.
