December 27, 2024 I took my car to City Auto ********************************************* to get my windshield replaced. They took 8 hours to replace a windshield. When I went to pick up my car I noticed there was a series of issues and problems. I told the shop about it and they told me to bring the car back and they will take care of it. I pointed out to the shop the scratchs and excess glue on my car and they kept insinuating that the glue and scratchs were already there WHICH WAS NOT THE ***** I have pictures of what my vehicle looks like before the car was taken to the shop. They confirmed that I take my car to a body shop of their choice and they will take it from there. When I went to the shop and dropped my car off taking another **** home I got a call first thing in the morning the next day notifying me that my car was ready for pick up. When I went to pick up my car, I noticed the glue under the windshield smeared with the paint and I brought this up to the body shop that my car was at, they told me that it smeared because of the wet glue. I was furious and they just painted over the scratches. I was told that I had to take it to the shop I took my car too for additional assistance. I went back to City Auto Glass and they told me that it looked fine & nothing was wrong with my car smeared paint and all and I had to deal with how it looked. They would not take my windshield and trim apart again to redo it. It has been raining and snowing since the damages occurred. Now there is corrosion on the car for the chipped paint that was painted over, glue all over the car, I hear wind coming in the car from the last trim piece that was replaced and one of the trim pieces are broken. I have gotten several quotes to get my car fixed, from $2,500-$5,000 out of pocket. I am outside of the labor warranty of the shop and per our last conversation the car looked fine not owning up to what is going on now. So my car is just damaged without a resolution. Also they would not give my money back.

I did business with City Auto Parts & Glass September ******.I came there to have my cracked windshield glass replaced. It cost me $215.00, which I paid only to return to this establishment because of their so -called replaced windshield. I was sold a windshield with a crack already there. It was not noticed until I went through a car wash. A few days later I noticed I had no radio or clicking turn signals. Shortly thereafter I took my vehicle to be inspected by a local auto repair shop. They discovered that water had leaked through the windshield and damaged my car's amplifier and body control module was damaged. I had expensive replacement repairs, programming ,and labor cost. It cost me $2,296.35 to get the car operable again due to the negligence of the glass company. I returned to the glass company with my situation. I was refunded for the cracked windshield, but they refused to compensate me for the inherited repairs that did not previously exist. I do not feel I should have to incur the hefty repair cost because of their negligence and faulty workmanship.
