    On June 26, 2023, ****** came to my home to repair my side-by-side Whirlpool refridgerator/feezer. Charge of $70 to show up. He diagnosed the the issue. His invoice reflects "replaced refrigerator defrost sensor Defrosted all ice from evaporator coils ************* $240"2 days after the repair, the coils froze up again plus, he never left the old defrost sensor with me. I called ****** to let him know the problem was not resolved. He returned to my home sometime in July, replaced the ************ I asked how much the parts were, as I expressed concern about the new defrost sensor must have been very expensive condsidering his $240 invoice for the part, which is only a $15 part, and to "melt the ice", which actually the ice melted on its own. He didn't charge me for the second visit. I refused to have to pay for another part. He replaced those 2 parts, the ************ $25 parts, but they weren't the correct parts for my Whirlpool. He did leave the old motor, but not the fan, with me. I noticed the *********** were very loud and sounded stressed. 2 days later the coils froze up again. I called ******. He didn't want to return to see why his repairs didn't resolve the issue. So, he didn't want to guarantee his repairs. He texted me another colleague's name & # to call to get a second opinion. That colleague would charge a $70 show-up fee. He made a guess that it might be the ************ which part costs around $200 to $300.I didn't want to spend any more money to fix the refrigerator. I texted ****** suggesting to return all but $70 of the $240 he charged ******* could come and get the parts that he put in as they didn't fix the problem and I now needed to purchase a new refrigerator.

    Hello This is *************************** business owner of sr appliance repair responding back to a complaint done  by ***********************. I performed a repair service on her refrigerator that was not cooling.  i replaced a part that solved that cooling issue. then she called me back that refrigerator was not working came back another time and fixed a secondary issue refrigerator was having and fixed for free at no charge. And the resaon for not charging her the second time because she was giving me a hard time complainng about prices. This customer is comparing amazon prices with my  original from the manufacturer parts with her online parts . And I will not be responsible for all issues refrigerator is having. and giving her free service . There are multiple parts that can cause a no cooling on a refrigerator. I have the right to decline service to customers who refuse to pay for additional issues. And the reason I did not refund her is because the job had been done and part was all ready installed.
