      Without my consent Clearcover changed my old salvage 2012 VW car policy and charged me $900 through automated payment from my checking account and refused to refund, what a scam.

      My Boyfriend has this insurance and he will be transferring to the company I use. He had a wreck two months ago and they still have made absolutely no progress. He had injuries after being rear ended, supposedly the other driver had insurance. The only thing Clearcover has asked for is pictures of his vehicle. Anyone who has been in a wreck knows if you need a valid inspection to do anything. If i could give this company a negative, I would. If you want insurance that will handle your claim correctly, look elsewhere!

      I was in a car accident. I was rear ended while merging. Clearcover claimed that it was my fault. Then claimed that my car was totaled. Immediately they sent a towing company to tow my car away. My cousin intervened and told them not to tow my car away. Today they said that the previously totaled vehicle can be repaired and have drastically reduced the value of vehicle.

      Attempted to what was in all probability illegally tow my totaled car away and charge me for storage of said vehicle without ever even once giving me a dollar amount for payout. I know the blue book value of my car before the accident. I had to have my cousin who has dealt professionally with such types of accidents inform them that they were doing something that was illegal. Immediately they backed off and changed their tune. I now have to rely on my cousin in order to protect myself from Clearcover.

      Clearcover does not pay claims - PERIOD! Theyre not trustworthy and they have zero integrity. My son borrowed my car and was struck by another vehicle. Clearcover refused coverage because my son was driving. SCAM!

      About two years ago, my in-laws had bought me and my wife a car so that way we didn't have to pay interest on the car. The insurance was in our in our agent set it up the title and registration was under my in-laws. we had been paying for insurance over the course of the two years we've had clear cover. Someone had hit the back of the car parking lot and drove away. When we went to file a claim, they would not allow us to file a claim because me and my wife's name wasn't on the title or registration even though we have been paying for the insurance entire time, we've had the car. Frustrating because I doubt they'll give my money back and they did absolutely nothing for me over the course of that time.

      I want this to serve as a WARNING to anyone who is either considering ClearCover Insurance or who is a current customer - what you read here in the negative reviews is absolutely true. They do nothing to resolve their customer's issues - they only further complicate them, creating unnecessary hardships and in some cases serious financial harm to their customers. From denying claims for no reason and only approving only aftermarket parts, to involving 3rd party adjusters in attempts to reduce paying out, they are a pathetic example of an insurance company. My personal experience is the same as many others found here. I had an accident, I completed the claim process via the app, and at the time all seemed to be going well, until the vehicle was towed to the shop and additional damage was found. From the beginning, it has been obvious that ClearCover does not not want to pay for the damages which were uncovered. They sent an adjuster, but the car has been non-drive-able and at the shop for almost two months now - and no repairs have been started yet as ClearCover is contesting the additional damages (which need to be addressed initially). At this point, I am being told by the shop there is no end in sight until they agree to paying the supplement. At this point, I am looking at another month at minimum until I get my primary family vehicle back.

      They are canceling my car insurance policy because I tried to include my daughter but she was denied. Now they are telling me that I should have excluded her from a policy she was never on because she lived in my house and has her own policy with the same company I have (doesn't make any sense).

      I was told my car was a total loss and its now been two weeks without a return call to let us know how much money we will be receiving. We have been paying for a rental car and need to buy another vehicle but still have no idea how much we are supposed to receive or when. I called every day and left a message and even though it says calls will be returned within 24 hours, I haven't received a call in two weeks. I'm stuck paying for a rental because someone can't do their job. WORST COMPANY EVER. One star is generous. Do not use this company.

      Absolutely Horrible Do not get this insurance unless you want to have your info stolen and sold.They have to be hands down the worst insurance company out there.They are absolutely NO help and just create more STRESS.
