On 12/7 I test drove a 2015 *****3 Hatchback. I asked salesman **** what work had been done on the vehicle after it was brought in. He told me that the only thing that needed to be fixed was the front control arms on the vehicle. I asked if there was anything else that needed to be done on the vehicle. He said no. I made on offer on the vehicle on 12/7/23 and Auto Boutique accepted. On 12/12 I arrived at Auto Boutique at 1:45 p.m. with the cashier's check to complete the purchase of the vehicle. The purchase was wrapped up around 3 PM. As I was driving home, the display was buffering between the ***** symbol & the Navigation screen. It did this through the entire ride home. I texted **** that day (12/12) at 5:18 PM at the ************** number to inform him of this as well as my discovery that the hatchback would not stay up. On 12/13 **** responded to my text. He said he would speak to the owner about the issues that have arisen and get back to me as soon as possible. On 12/18 I sent another text to **** at the (224) number at 2:17 p.m. telling him I was awaiting a response. He later responded via text that "our mechanics need to diagnose the vehicle themselves and then acquire the necessary parts to implement repairs. This will require the vehicle dropped off. He then asked me when a good time to drop off the vehicle would be. I asked if his boss would pay for a rental? I reiterated that I should not be paying for a rental. He said that 1/2/24 is when a loaner will be available. I told him a loaner was fine. He suggested 10 a.m. on 1/2/24. I told him I could come in the afternoon. I also told him that with the ** card out, the buffering problem stopped. This meant that the ** card was the problem. Ultimately, I emailed the owner who said that I had to pay $100 per repair. Since they had pictures showing these things operational, this was not okay & I would pursue other means to correct this. You can see the attached doc for detailed contact.Initial Complaint

This was the worst experience Ive ever have ever had with a dealership. The days I was there to purchase and pick up the vehicle I spent over ********* cash on was great treated with respect and like a human being. When I returned a couple weeks later with a minor car issue I was yelled at disrespected by the owner *** to the point I was frightened so scared that I couldn't return after that to pick up my title. From the day of the purchase I requested that the title be mailed to my current address I was assured that it would be butbit wasn't it was mailed to the wrong address on purpose. Today I went up there to discuss my title and *** stated to me "let's make a deal you remove your ****** review of my business and I'll re order your tilte again ? Like what ? This man is very unprofessional disrespectful and intimidating the way he treats customers is unethical and just wrong I still.dont have my title and I bought this car back in February all I want is the ownership title to my vehicle.Initial Complaint

On August 27 was Saturday we got to buy this pre-owned vehicle from Auto boutique Chicago..Their real address now is **** ***************** Chicago ******** 60618.owner *********************** rush to get his money same day 16.000.00$cash bank transfer..So it's me my teenage daughter ***********************.as we go to his shop sign he got his money ,then he tell his sales guy we need reset miles on the car puting them on one was advertised...He said I drove the car for some time so I did change them. Sounded so nonsense as I go home ,pick my other kids to go out that day was 86 degree hot weather and having child with ****** I turn Ac on it's not working.oh my I throw 16.000.00$ first day issues,I text owner he said rude we closed don't contact me on cell come Monday. ok Monday we go he come my face screaming yelling saying he don't care take car and go again front my daughter.after back and fourth they check Ac said compressor is bad ..but wait I have paper saying that compressor was charge freon day before ,you can't charge Ac put freon if compressor is bad..here is no end .then wensday my daughter works delivery perishable food ,her car stop in middle of road ,now this people saying we not there wait until next Tuesday..I am loosing my job my kids needs doctor *********** etc.so I go Tuesday again tell him you scam me , I need my car check ..he fights back and fourth tell me get keys leave from here.. driving car back we got stuck on road twice had get towing paid to mechanic shop..So this person scam me took my money and now all I got are my feet and carrying heavy weights to feed my kids ....all I ask same day he can keep his junk as long he refund so I purchase working vehicle..16.000.00 is lot of money ..he is there telling me get title go **** car . So his business he don't care his business has lot of bad reviews similar to mine.i am lost scammed,I attached all damage pain he ****** my life and my kids ,I had pay towing,now I am stuck with higher bills can't afford to pay .Business Response

Customer purchased the vehicle cash with a limited implied powertrain warranty. Nothing the customer was complaining about is covered under that warranty. That said, I made every effort to resolve with the customer including repairing the car at no cost and the customer was verbally abusive yelling/screaming. I told the the customer I would be happy to deal with her daughter (who profusely apologized for her mother's behavior) and the mother would not allow me to and continued threatening and being abusive. At this point she called the police, which backfired as the police escorted her off premises and said if she didn't calm down she'd be arrested for disorderly conduct and trespassing. I told the police to relay to these customers I was no longer willing to go above and beyond our state law implied warranty due to their conduct. The customers left and never returned. Additionally this nonsense claim about the mileage is what i can only imagine to be when we updated the mileage on the final bill of sale she accused me of changing the odometer (on a land rover? like what?) and I explained I just needed the current mileage off the vehicle for the docs. I truly hope this customer gets the help she needs as clearly there are some bigger underlying issues above and beyond the car *********.Customer Answer

This are all lies that owner ***************************** has put a lot of other customers he had done the same issue as to me .He scam me and all we needed was to stay on the 15 days waranty but when we show in his store he **** on second day we purchased car he is one screaming telling me on front my daughter to get car and go because he is not fixing anything with car .He said go I need go vacation screaming in top of his voice just Gooo dont show up here no more .I told him you sold me junk car has stop in middle of road when we needed to get it towed on different mechanic because he didnt want or cared to fix car we just paid big 16.000$This business has customers complain same issue as I am on his help reviews as well .He is ripping customers off by selling junk cars.My issue was not the air conditioning only this car stop cant make it to go running anymore and this was with time I purchased.I told him this car I purchased that you pocket the money its for me to serve my kids ,my daughter got lost her delivery job because he never answer or care to fix issues on car .He is Liar I cant believe he make stuff over the police officer.I call the police because he has been insulting and loud before so I needed someone more authority for my safety.Police was there to mediate and I didnt broke any law but require my money if he say he will not fix the car so I purchase a working car to serve my family.My daughter did write to him I did include her texts between her and ************************He told my daughter by calling her to stay away from his shop he doesnt whant to do nothing with car .He will not fix anything..Scamer all his reviews are there ,as long he takes customers money he dont care for any warranty.We had cops undercover officers try to help up move our car because the 3 day this car stop in middle of intersection.And now he make up lies about all of this .My daughter and I contacted **** the salesman guy and he said let me call you back after I talk to **** then we never heard from himas well..This business is big mess now I agree all this reviews are same as my issue,.
