This company was completely misleading and I have so many unanswered questions concerning a modification that I took out using them in 2018. Legal network caused me to fall behind on payments because they were not completing my papers to submit for the modifications and my credit was affected. I paid over $6000 to have their assistance. Their name is on my mortgage statement to this day and I can never reach/speak with a person when calling to find out why and ask questions they don't match with my mortgage lender. Now the numbers I do have are not working. I need to find out why there is also a $22,244.00 increase on my loan where is was $197,427 I was just told today 3/11/22 that when I got the modification it was $219671 and was said to have a first payment on modification in Aug of 2019 that I disagree with as well. I had been paying Legal network awhile before that supposedly first payment was made to OCWEN mortgage. Legal Network caused my home to be put into foreclose status. When I did speak to a rep there I told them I would be letting the radio station that backed them up know that their were not being truthful about their assistance. Where are these people now? I need to know what is going on with my loan-modification. All I want is some questions answered. This is how so many folks lose their homes and I don't want to lose mine because of someone else doings. Now I'm speaking to my mortgage company (as I type) and they saying that there is a 3rd party person that I have no darn idea of : ************** of ******* Zugenelis. What the heck?????? Our law firm released power of attorney back in 2018 on this case and respresentation is no longer in existence. The final contract was executed and finalized in 2018. Services were rendered and termination of representation was filed.
Any questions or problems that you are having with your lender are not a result of our legal team, as your case was closed several years back.
Our legal team can not increase your loan amount as you claim an increase of $22,244.00. That can only be increased by your lender.
In addition, lenders can remove third parties at your request. If the third party is the law firm you simply need to request that your lender remove the law firm as the third party.
At the time that this loan modification was finalized the loan status was current and not in foreclosure. We are not responsible for future missed payments that you have or lender misallocations on your loan balances once representation is terminated. During the spring of 2018, we contracted with **** now The Legal Advocates Team, to modify our Mortgage Loan. We had an 80/20 Loan. The Lead Attorney ********************************* reviewed our mortgage paperwork, and he signed off to contract for $ ****** to assist us with a ***************** with ***** *********** We paid all required payments on time. Soon after all fees were paid, communication from **** now The Legal Advocates Team was non- existence until we initiated an email or called for a status. Later in the process we also discovered ***** Fargo transferred our Loans to ****************, then to SN Servicing, then back to themselves. How does this happen if both parties are working together? We believe this was dishonest and a conflict in interest. This was troubling so we requested to speak with an Attorney. The office Advocate/Indra REFUSED to engage an attorney. So, we went to the internet, found Attorney/******************* and contacted him for Legal help. We then contacted the radio station ***** that advertised this ******************** for *** now The Legal Advocates Team to escalate our issue. In the meantime, Attorney/******************* discovered that a Court Date to Sale our property was scheduled the following week. ******************* submitted a motion to the Vacate the Sale then provided us with a few options to possibly recover if the Judge ruled not in our favor. In Nov 2021 we met with Attorney ********************************* for the first time to discuss the Nov 16th court date Motion to Vacate the Sale of our property. He was late and disconcerning at this meeting. Late Nov 2021 we requested an update and was not informed until late Dec 2021 that the Judge DECLINED the Motion to Vacate the Sale of the property and that our Home had been SOLD. This is truly unbelievable. I would not recommend using The Legal Advocates Team for any Loan ********************s. We pray that it is not too late to engage our ********************** to help unravel these unfair consumer practices.Business response

I have received the complaint filed with your office regarding our former client. It is true that Mr. and *************** retained my law firm. Unfortunately, we are not at liberty to disclose these facts due to confidentiality obligations.
