    Owner was discriminatory via email about my sexuality, gave me a different room than the one I booked, the bathroom was not cleaned properly, and my deposit was returned later than written policies stated.

    Booked a reservation approximately 48 hours in advance through Hotels.com for a two night stay, which was stated as non-refundable. I didn't think twice about it since I had no intention of changing the reservation. After the reservation was made and paid for, I received emails from Hotels.com and from the establishment stating that a complete covid vaccination series of two shots must have been completed within the last two weeks, or the reservation is not valid. NOTHING WAS STATED WHEN I RESERVED THE ROOM ON HOTELS.COM. I filed a complaint with hotels.com and they stated that the owner would not refund anything. I called the business several times only to be sent to a voicemail. I received a text the morning of Tues mar 14 stating that I needed to check in. I called the business and was told by the owner that it is on the website that there are covid restrictions. I explained to him that they are not on the website until you book the reservation to which he denied, stating that it is "their policy, not mine". He then hung up on me and refused any more communication.

    This individual did not take the time to read at all about our property before booking reservation.  I would suggest this individual read as all reservations are clear and if he read that the room was non refundable he should also read about our property at the bottom of our hotel page on Hotels.com.  I also included a link.

    The room was booked through Hotels.com. There is no reference to any. Covid restrictions until After the reservation was made/.
