It has been almost 3 months since I bought my car from them and I have not received my registration that I paid for nor has my bank received the title. Now my temporary tags are about to expire in a matter of days and I have no way of proving my ownership to register my car. I also can't transfer my driver's license to my new state without the registration and I might end up owing extra taxes and fees. They have ducked nearly every single text, call and email I have made over the past two months to the dealership, its managers and even its corporate parent office. Dozens of voicemails and I have only received a few vague promises regarding them contacting me, only to not do so for weeks. As an immigrant I can't even imagine risking driving an unregistered car, nevermind the fact that I can barely prove I own the car. For all I know it's stolen and they do not have the title. And this was after I was supposed to finance with *****, they did not tell me the contract I signed had Honda Financial listed instead, and somehow it was ***** Fargo that ended up with my loan!Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:While it is true that the manager finally got back to me after I got a hold of the ** of Operations at their parent company, I was brazenly lied to by their registration clerk that manager got me in contact with.
On Aug 20 this clerk told me on the phone that they had already filed in ******* "last week" and that I could expect my registration to go through "by the end of the week", such that I could expect my license plates the next week.
That was not the case. I was told by an Indiana BMV worker within the next two days that no such documents had been filed. I once again reached out to this manager for a tracking ID or some sort of evidence of what they had claimed. I was only told they would ask the clerk and then never got back to me.
Finally, I went online and saw that the registration and title paperwork were only filed Aug 30. This is over two weeks after they lied to me about having done it and a full 92 days after I bought the car, well over the 20 day legal requirement in ********, where the dealership is.
As such, due to their failure to timely provide the service I paid for, I am demanding a full refund of the 352 dollars I paid in registration fees. They lied to me after avoiding me and they failed to even file while my Illinois temporary registration was in effect (Expired Aug 28) and well beyond the legal limit of ********************************************************************************************************************************** contact with them over more than 2 months and for the costs I incurred having to get a Texas temporary registration so I could drive while they failed to deliver on this service.
Sincerely,

I purchased a used 2022 ****** Tacoma and paid cash for the vehicle. I was told the title would be sent to me so that I could get Wisconsin license plates and a ********* Title. Five weeks later and several phone calls, no title, no response. Today 7/23/24 I spoke to the operator at the dealership just to be told she could not help and hung up on, twice. I just need the title, they have been paid in full for the vehicle.Business Response

I bought out my Honda Odyssey Lease from them, they charged $1250 to process the work on 6/12/2024. They applied for my financing took money from new bank, they took my $10,000 as well. And has not paid off my car loan. Honda Financial shows I am 1 payments past due and 1 approaching 30 days ***** if it doesn't get paid in next few days, it will reflect on my credit as 30 days late payment. Been 25+ days and they haven't even sent the payment to Honda Financial for my car and took money from me and the new bank and sitting on it making more money, without care for the customer who's credit will get impacted, especially while looking for a new house. I want the transaction to be reversed, pay the new bank money back, pay my $10,000 and I will pay to honda financial myself with other deal. Worst Dealer to work with, don't even return the call backInitial Complaint

I bought a car from North City Honda, (***********************************) in November of 2023, (I put a deposit down on Nov. 18th $1,000, paid $8,000 by check on Nov 20) I had a good experience, at first with Juwaun. But then, when I went to sign the the paperwork with ****, (the amount financed should have been $13,513.12 & what was actually financed was $23,888.16) somehow about $10,000 got added to the total I agreed upon. I was very upset & wrote a bad review on ******* I was contacted by their customer service, *******, *********** asked me to come back in & refinance & asked me to take down the review. On 11/29 **** filled out the cancellation form for the add-ons **************** Hazard) I didn't want & gave me a signed copy, which I have along with the agreement stating the price/services I agreed to, originally. He told me the adjusted amount ($10,000 less) of my loan might not reconcile until March. He & the dealership are now ignoring me. I have not attempted to use any of the services that were added, that I did not want. Again, I have the dated paperwork for this. I have looked at my loan online (through **** **** total loan amount has not changed. email addresses ***************************************** *********************************** phone #s *******************-231-0203, **************************************Business Response

I bought a car from North City Honda, along with it extended warranty for 60 months or 6 years, whichever comes first. After just 3 months, the car developed issues and I filed a claim. It has been a month now since I filed a claim and it seems they are not willing to hold their side of the deal. Id like for them to honor our contract and fix my car.Business Response

I purchased a vehicle from this car lot on 6/5/2023 . The first day i received the car I was put in a loaner due to the ac not working or being charged . That was the first incident , next incident the wheels started making noise and the radio started going out . I took car back to be looked at and it was in their shop for about a week . I was put into a loaner while time being . They gave me my car back stating that they didnt hear anything and it wasnt anything wrong . The noise was still there , took it back had one of the co workers ride with me to hear it , he heard it and said that they can fix it . They gave me another loaner so they can fix the tires and radio . They did that, great . Soon as I receive the car back the radio goes back out again , took a picture of the radio . Took the car back again to be looked at and had to get another loaner . I tried expressing that this has caused me a headache and nothing but issues since i purchased this vehicle . Now the check engine light is on stating that something is wrong with the transmission . I asked them to switch me out they lied to me and forced me to keep the car stating that since my credit isnt the best and thats why Im stuck with a s***** car . That isnt fair that i have to pay a car not for a car that doesnt work . Even the finance company stated i had 30 days to bring a car back or try to switch out . No one has tried to help me but two people and they could barely do anything because they are not managers . At this point either i need another car or i want to get out of this car or get a lawyer because i should not be having this many problems . Understand the car is used , but it still shouldnt have this many issues if its being serviced correctly !Business Response

Took my vehicle to get checked from a rattling sound that it was making to be charged a fee of $179 for diagnostic. Yet they charged me to tell me I had to do another test to add oil and wait ***** miles to get it checked again. with another diagnostic charge of $179. A shuttle charge was charged to my account without even letting me know they would be charging me a shuttle charge. They didn't have the edacity to just add oil and check to see if the noise continued. So they still charged me for a work that they didn't find. Plus was trying to charge me for work that I already had done to my vehicle in Aug of 2022.Business Response

Over the course of our work with North City Honda, we purchased a 2022 Honda CRV Hybrid. We negotiated the price, and as we were closing out with NCH, we saw a higher APR than what we were originally working with. I am happy to say that that was resolved. However, I have been engaging in a back and forth with North City Honda on where the payoff check is for the ** that we traded in. According to ******* via email, it would be 10 days from the date of purchase. I waited 10 days.We have surpassed the 10 days. I have spoken to ****** ********* and ****. They all explain that they would get back to me. I also reached back out to ******* (Sales Person) who told me in an email that ******** had said it's been taken care of. I emailed ******* on Monday 7/18 - he explained that "********" had taken care of it. However, he would be able to update me after he started his shift at 12pm. This did not happen.I emailed yesterday 7/19 to ******* and have not received an update. I already had to pay my ** car loan once already and am frustrated that I might have to do it again. When I expressed this, they said, oh "they'll just refund you if you have an overpayment." I find this to be unacceptable.Customer Answer
