Horrible experience just trying to apply for their card. Credit Karma said I had an "outstanding" chance of being approved for a new card. I clicked. I applied. I was "approved for a $2000 card". My Transunion score was 710. All was great until it was time to use my phone to take a picture of my DL and selfie. That never worked. I tried my brand new S23... Nope. Tried the stock browser and Chrome. Next I tried my ******* Tablet (2023 model) - nope. So I tried my wife Iphone14 - nope. So I emailed their ***************** I was simply told to call their number. After MANY calls where I waited over 20mins I FINALLY got to a human. She couldn't speak clear English which made this harder, but at least it was a real person. She was clearly reading pre written sentences and not really listing to what I was saying. So after she reached the end of her lines to read, she puts me on hold. During that wait, guess what? I get a prompt from their website I was also logged into saying I successfully completed their ID check nonsense. Strange... Still while on hold... I get an email saying the same thing, it also says they are still reviewing my application for approval. Wait! I was already approved. That is why I was at the last step of simply verifying my ID. STILL while on hold, I get another email 1 min later saying I was denied. I have a 700+ credit rating and make $108k a year with almost no bills. This cannot be a legit company. Oh, right after I got the email - CLICK, I was hung up on. The reason they gave, too many hard pulls. Only had 2 all year, and 1 was from Avant!!!!! Complete BS.
