      On August 6, 2025, I contacted Beyond Finance after noticing that $3,111 had been withdrawn from my account without being applied toward any of my creditors. During the call, a representative informed mefor the first ******** the company charges a 25% program fee upfront. This was never clearly explained when I enrolled in the ********** that point, I realized why no action had been taken on my debts for over 10 months. Beyond Finance had not initiated any negotiations with my creditors. Instead, they were holding the funds until the full amountincluding their 25% feewas accumulated. This approach directly contradicts the service timeline they initially explained, which was that negotiations and settlements would begin within 4 to 6 months.Following that call, I requested a refund, as they had not fulfilled their stated obligations. However, within days, I was served a lawsuit by one of my creditorsa direct result of following Beyond Finances advice to stop paying my creditors and instead divert all payments to them. Their team assured me they would handle everything, yet they failed to do so, resulting in legal action against me.This has caused me severe financial stress, damaged my credit, and left me feeling misled and taken advantage of by a company that promised to provide relief.

      Ive been enrolled in Beyond Finances debt resolution program since 2023. I originally enrolled 18 accounts totaling around $140,000. As of now:1 account has been fully paid off 5 are in repayment 1 is in open negotiation 11 have been removed from the program due to loss of trust Despite this, my biweekly deposit has increased three times from $825 to $1,082 and Ive been told it wont drop until March 2026. I asked for a reassessment based on my reduced enrollment, and was told this is the lowest possible amount, which feels like a default response rather than a case-specific review.Ive also asked for a written breakdown of my remaining schedule and end date based on active accounts. ********************** refuses to provide it, citing open negotiations, even though *** indicated that account may be removed. Ive paid tens of thousands of dollars, followed the programs requirements, and still cant get a straight answer on when Ill finish or what my total cost will be.Beyond claims that less than 1% of clients face legal action but Ive received legal threats from four creditors, and two have sued me while enrolled. This completely contradicts how the program was presented to me. When I signed up, I was told my credit score might drop but there was no mention at all of the risk of being sued, which is critical information. I never would have agreed to the program had I been told this was a likely outcome.Desired Resolution:A formal deposit reassessment based on the accounts I am actively repaying A written and finalized schedule showing program completion and total cost Accountability for the misleading legal risk claims and lack of transparency during enrollment I am deeply disappointed by the gap between what was sold to me a clear 5-year plan with manageable payments and the reality: rising deposits, lawsuits, extended timelines, and minimal support. I would not recommend this program to others.

      Your program is not there to "reduce" people's debt. With all your added fees, you are robbing people of their money. It sure is sad how you operate. I will never recommend anyone to your company. You rob people of money when you put on a front that you are going to help people reduce their debt. You took all these fees and only paid $650 towards the *********** account. You say you took a total of $1,049.98 in fees. You are robbing me of my money. I hope people become aware of the truth in your company and the way you work.

      I was explained that the process will not hurt my credit, and that things will be much easier for me once completed.Beyond Finance did not work on my file immediately but waited for ************************************************** my account. That was never explained up front. All my creditors were calling me every day trying to collect on my debt, and never once they answered YES when I mentioned that Beyond Finance was to contact them.I had 5 accounts with ****************. Beyond Finance said that 2 of those accounts were corporate account, and they can't negotiate them. **** filed Lawsuits against me to collect. When I called them to negotiate, they said that they are in touch with BF and cannot talk with me. When I called BF, they said they will issue a Power of Attorney but never did and never communicated with AmEx.

      Additionally, clear expectations for the estimated timing of resolutions are covered in section 8. Timing and Program estimates:

      "While guidelines differ widely among Creditors, in our experience an accumulation of 40%-50% of the then-current balance of a Debt will normally enable us to make a good-faith offer to resolve that Debt. Further, in our experience it typically takes approximately 4-6 months before reaching the stage at which Company can begin reaching out to creditors or collectors and achieve your first resolution offer. If the Client has multiple debts, Company typically will make an offer to the next creditor within approximately 3-6 months of when the prior debt was resolved and after the Client has saved 40%-50% of the debt due to the next creditor."

      August 22, 2023 enrolled in beyond finance debt reduced from ***** to 5400 dollars to be paid off in 38 months. I was paying 250 dollars a month from my social security check, which was 10%of my income, after about 2 years or more i had it reduced to 200 a month, so that I could buy food. My creditors were supposed to be immediately notified that beyond finance had my debt consolidation handled. everything I was promised and paid over 5000 for never happened.When I called to ask for the final date payoff, I was told I owed another 5000.This was a bait and switch operation. I am an 80 year old widow and I want a full refund as this was not an honest business contract. I also was told The ************* would be informed of my paying off debt and my credit score being fixed. Never happened.

      *Enrolled a couple of years ago in a 5-year plan to consolidate debt. *Original payment (pmt) plan was approximately $300 biweekly. *Multiple litigations ultimately resulted in a biweekly increase to $608. Though devastating financially, I had to agree because of legal threats. *Paid off two accounts since starting. Last time I paid an acct off, I was told I had to have all required funds in the **** BEFORE drafting payoff request. I did this to lower my pmt. I was then told the *** would not be lowered despite the fact that there was now an entire monthly pmt resolved on the acct. Was told there was nothing I could do so I had to let it go. *I accumulated enough money to pay off one of the accounts being litigated and was hopeful that this would lower my pmt. Well, I deposited the funds and waited for them to clear as I was told to do in the past and called to try and get this acct paid. AGAIN, they want $900 more to pay it. I am told that the money in the **** is to pay the monthly payments. I say No, the payment I already paid, and the charge next week is what covers my resolution pmts. I am then told the system RECONFIGURED spending in the acct with the additional funds, so now those funds are tied to your resolution pmts. I was told if I wanted to use that money for a payoff then I should have called to start the process. A DIRECT contradiction to what I WAS PREVIOUSLY TOLD! I asked to reverse deposit and now they want to threaten that my resolution offers are going to be in jeopardy because of how the SYSTEM moved my funds. If the 1700 had never existed, they would have made do with the 1200 Im ALREADY paying for the month and would never have asked for anything additional. This company is making it extremely hard to get out of debt. I try to do something, Im reminded of fees and asked for MORE MONEY. Why are so many fees being processed before LEGALLY SENSITIVE debt is being paid? They put their own pockets before their JOB of helping you pay off debt.

      When discussing enrolling in Beyond Finance I asked what their fees and services cost. I was told of monthly fees for services and quoted 5% in fees. Beyond Finance failed to explain or disclose they charge a 25% settlement fee on the total enrolled debt for settled offers. The 25% is assessed on the pre-settled account balances. This fee was also not pointed out when the Beyond Financial Representative walked me through the Signing of the Beyond Finance service agreement contract. Beyond Finance failed to disclose all fees and expenses associated with their service up front.Additionally, I am very unhappy with the service due to the poor performance on their claim to settle debt by 40-50% (my offer was nowhere near that amount), the timeline of offers which was I was told would be 2-3 months but was actually eight months. Lastly, I was told by the intake coordinator that I could end the program at any time and be returned the funds in my account. Now after ten months only one of my accounts was settled however when I called to find out more details about removing myself from the program, I was told about the 25% fee. After the 25% fee, I have only saved 7% of the enrolled debt. I was told that if I left to manage the debt on my own accord, I would not get back the almost $8,000 in my account.

      I am rejecting this response because there are multiple inaccuracies and misleading information included in the response including the fact that I was told of all program fees. Despite calling multiple times to inquire about the status of offers, clarification on the program, etc was I ever informed of the 25% fee. I am only staying on with the program now because I am basically handcuffed. I was told that to leave would mean that all of my current account balances would be used towards fees vs put towards my creditor debt.  I was given no other concessions or help whatsoever. I was taken advantage of during a time of need and vulnerability and am extremely frustrated with this situation.

      This business has lied and manipulated me. They said they would reduce my debt; instead, it has actually increased. They've only resolved 2 of 6 accounts in 2 years. ********************** has only it's outrageous fees in mind, often charging more than the amount they reduced or equal to it. For example, I had a 5000-dollar debt; they reduced it to 1300 but then took close to 2500 in fees before paying the debt. They pay themselves and then slowly pay yours down, all the while my largest balances weren't even contacted, nor had they even tried to reduce them. A 9000-dollar debt has grown to be over ***** last I checked, with absolutely no regard for the fact that I could have gotten the credit card companies to do the same exact thing for free. THIS COMPANY IS A BUNCH OF THIEVES. Now I'm deeper in debt and 2 hours behind. The last straw was when they reverted my ***** payment to 2*****, a sum I hadn't paid in about 6 months. Stating that I'd agreed to this because I didn't call them to not raise it up. Then when I asked for a refund, they refused and lied, saying they couldn't, or it hadn't cleared the call back. So, I did. They said, "Now it's too late. Oh, and you actually owe us money now too." I spoke with 4 different people and got 4 different account balances, the last 2 saying I had a negative balance but giving me 2 different numbers. All lies. This company has been taking my money and doing almost nothing to resolve my debt and has only paid themselves. THIS IS A SCAM.

      Review confirmed that at the time of your enrollment you were clearly and transparently educated about the program fee, inclusive of how and when it is earned and collected.  All fees were earned and collected in accordance with the established expectations.  You can reference this information in your completed enrollment agreement in section 11.(a).  


      As a courtesy, Beyond Finance agreed to temporarily lower your monthly program deposit, however the agent was clear this was not permanent and that you would need to call back if you were still experiencing financial difficulties.  Additionally, payment information is always available on your customer portal. We have been able to confirm that you were able to cancel this payment with your bank and it did not process.

      I am rejecting this response because, although they may have been negotiating with certain lenders, I believe they intentionally allowed my credit cards with the highest rates and interest to continue to accrue. I was initially told or misled that all interest on my accounts would cease once their company was involved. In fact, it was the opposite. Originally, I was making payments of 450 per month. Instead of negotiating with my cards with the highest debt, they chose to slowly pay off the lowest debts. This caused my interest to rise thousands of dollars unnecessarily; I now believe this was done because I agreed to pay them a portion of the settled debt. When a debt was negotiated, they took their fees in total immediately and set up several-year-long payments to the debtors, prolonging my poor credit ratings even though I was making regular payments. This was the exact opposite of what I was told by their representatives. They also convinced me I should not contact my creditors at any time in order for them to be more willing to negotiate. My primary bank ***** even warned me about this company and tactic, and I foolishly did not listen. ********** offered me a reduced rate, even offering to freeze interest payments. The offer beyond finance settled on was several thousand greater, and again they took their payment in total, leaving my debts to continue harming my credit. It's true I fell on hard times again and was unable to make payments. I asked it to be reduced and did not completely understand the necessity of calling them monthly. They promised me my accounts would be PK; instead, several debtors backed out and began their own collections again. This company was misleading and predatory; they used shady tactics and bullied me into staying with them, telling me it would be worse now to cancel. I finally did some research and found out I actually was not obligated to continue in their program, and I could cancel anytime. which is what I finally did after they raised my rates back up after telling them I couldn't afford it and then refused to return my money or stop the payment. Each representative I spoke to quoted me a different day and time and also told me I actually owed them money.

      It's a credit resolution company. They lied to me when first signing up. About how much they charged, so they mislead me to get me to sign a contract. Then they contacted me with a offer from a creditor. I accepted the offer. A week later they contacted me again saying I had to accept a new offer that was 1600 more than the first offer. Now that's over 100% more than what I owed. I reluctantly accepted the new offer because I feel like I have no other option. Just for them to contact me yet again 2 weeks later with another offer that's 360 dollars more than the second offer. I feel like once I accept it that first offer. That should be my offer if they didn't do their due diligence and make sure that was the correct number from the Creditor then that's on them not me, they lose that extra money. I feel like they're just going to keep coming back with offers if the Creditor keeps adjusting the number, it's so beyond finance doesn't lose money. They could care less about the customer. They're motto is that the customer is the best part of **********************.

      I have reason to believe I was misled by Beyond Financial into enrolling in their program under the guise that it would save me money and that my credit would only suffer for a short period of time. Its been over a year, and my credit score has been significantly impacted. They have only settled one account and Im receiving letters from debt collectors threatening to sue me. Beyond financial have not been in contact with any of the other credit card companies. So far, Ive deposited $6348.48 in my account with them. They only accepted one offer from ****. Out of the $6348.48 Ive paid into my account, only ******* went to Amex. $2372.30 are fees they collected from me. A supervisor told me their fee from the **** negotiation is *******. They were not transparent about their fees. My initial balance was roughly $10,000. When I add their fees to the negotiated amount, Im still paying about $10,000.00. Essentially, I did not benefit in any way from their program and Im the meantime, my credit has been ruined!

      Review of your enrollment interactions confirmed that proper expectations surrounding the impact to your creditworthiness were set.  Beyond Finance is not a credit repair company and never presented itself as such.  Additionally, the program fee was also clearly disclosed.  This information can be referenced in your enrollment agreement in paragraph 13. Disclaimer (credit impact) and 11. (A) (program fee).  


      The ability to negotiate new offers is dependent upon the accumulation of funds in your dedicated account.  While you always have the option to add additional funds to help expedite the process, it is never required.  This program is designed to care for all of the enrolled debt, including all related fees, throughout the duration of the program term.

      I am rejecting this response because the stated purpose of their program is to reduce my enrolled debt. All my enrolled debt has actually increased significantly. Whether it be due to Beyond Finances fees or fees and interest from the credit card companies. 

      In the image I attached, it states what they do. Ive been enrolled for a year and a half now and they have only accepted on offer. They did not even negotiate to lower the offer. They simply accepted what the company offered.

      I am rejecting this response because although I understand they were estimates, I figured I would at a least save some money. To charge the ridiculous fee they do and not save me any money is predatory! In their response, they stated that they have contacted me several times to resolve this issue. They have not! Beyond Finance has my cell, email and home address. I have no voicemails, emails or stale mail from this company. They are not even honest in their response!
