Purchased a General Electric 21.9 cu ft Top Freezer Refrigerator, Garage Ready, Model number ********** on July 26, 2024. The product worked until about December when the weather cooled. Calls were made and a repair person came out to service the appliance and told us it was too cold and that garage ready does not function properly for our part of the country. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and received a call from ********** who sent out another repair person from **. That man told us the same thing the previous one had. He told me to contact Corporate Compliance, which I did. At this point ********** is not backing the product, nor is General Electric. I have an appliance which is barely six months old and we cannot use it. We have had to throw meats away due to them not staying frozen. No one wants to take responsibility. I think when I first contacted the BBB you initiated a complaint with ********** and they seem to have done all they will do, which is pretty much nothing. I would now like you to go after the manufacturer who advertises falsely that the appliance is garage, ready when it does not operate under 38 degrees. This was never told to us when we researched in on line or purchased it, and apparently is in paperwork which they dont supply to the customer. Any help would be appreciated. We would like the appliance removed and our full purchase price refunded. Thank you.
