      on **** -22 my mother went in for a FREE check-up at Belltone in **********.He told her, she needed earring aids, but my mom can hear. She said no but the sales pitch came out and I got worried. My mom could not afford these and we were told about a lease-type program. $750 down and then she had to be approved. I put down the deposit. That was on a Friday all weekend my mother said she didn't want them.I called Monday morning and left a message I want to cancel, I want my $750 deposit back, weeks go by I got a call that they have to return them we never saw the earring aids.I have two messages from the guy not once did he say about taking my money. I still have the messages. I called about they deposit his worker was there on Thursday I have two messages that I would get my money on a Thursday two weeks go by. I always asked for the $750 back. I get a deposit of $550 on November 4 I called right away why is it $550 . They said something about a cancellation fee ?????. NO WAY if I knew that I would never have put my money $750 down. All it says is money back guaranteed Never never never was That told to me. I am seeking my $200 back. Asap

      We will contact the owner on your behalf. Did you sign a contract when you put down the $750 deposit? That contract would have cancellation privileges.

      I paid ******* for hearing aids for my husband to Beltone. They charged his insurance an additional ******* The hearing aids never fit right. I contacted Beltone explaining they keep sliding out and i want my money back because we want to go to miracle ear. In one week he lost one but it was found in our neighbors yard. They had him come in for a readjustment. I kept asking for them to give my money back and in the meantime a week later he lost one of them again. This time we never found it. So instead they gave him some big bulky ugly old hearing aids. When i saw them i knew they are not quality hearing aids.. Beltone had my husband go back in to have them readjusted as well.. They never showed him how to work them. He can't turn them up or down. He can't turn them on or off. I can't even find the proper way to work them so him being 83yrs especially cannot. He has since given up and wears no hearing aids. I am out ******* and he and I both are put through h*** daily due to his severe hearing loss. We no longer have the money to go to Miracle ear. Beltone made off with it .I am now in stage of a lawsuit. If Beltone had just refunded our money like we asked they would have them returned and he would have gone to Miracle ear.

      I have been having trouble with my hearing aids ever since I bought them. ********* does not have a permanent Dr. they need one soon than later. Or you will be losing more business.

      Beltone charged my insurance company $1500 each for my hearing aids. The highest amount my insurance allowed. They are the worst hearing aids I have ever had and thats the only place my insurance company will allow me to go to unless I go to another state. Ive had the hearing aids adjust ** over and over. Please, do not go to Beltone. I just went back to Beltone and my hearing aids were fixed again. Three days later the same problem. I cant hear out of them again.

      I have received postal mailings from the ********* ** Beltone Office for years. They are addressed to my Mother who passed 6 years ago. I am unable to find a way to remove her from the mailing list electronically. I did "chat" with someone who stated I must call. And let them have my phone number too? No thanks.I'd like to have my Mother removed from the mailing list, and I would like a way for others to remove themselves from the mailing list on the Beltone website."We've bothered you for years, but you have to call us..."Thank you for the service you provide. I realize it isn't fun being in the middle.

      Constant spam mail for hearing aids. Minimum 1 a month for years. I'm 33 with very good hearing. I have called the number and it's a local place that "doesn't have control" over the mailing list but they put in a request to remove me. I moved to a different state about 9 months ago. It took 3 months and they started showing up at my new address. They try to disguise it as a government envelope also. Similar numbering style as the tax forms along with a ***************** watermark.

      I am rejecting this response because:  I would believe that if it didn't follow me TO A DIFFERENT STATE for a local office here.  The response I get from the local number is that they don't have control over the mailing list but they can request I be removed from whoever has control of it.  So, if the local people don't control it, and beltone corporate doesn't control it, who does?  I WANT TO BE REMOVED FROM THE MAILING LIST PERMANENTLY!!!

      I purchased a set of hearing aides on 4-27-18 from Beltone. I paid them ******** for the hearing aides. They came with a 3 year warranty. The right hearing aid has been in and out of the shop since the purchase. I havent gotten a months use out of it since I purchased it. The left one has had no problems. I asked for my money back since they couldnt fix it to continue working but I was refused. They extended the warranty on the right one for 1 year and now the warranty is almost out on it. I asked how can they make one with no problems and the other one has never been fixed. I have wasted a lot of time and money going back and forth and not being able to hear. Now Im out all that money and not able to hear in my worst ear. I guess I bought a lemon in hearing aids Any help would be greatly appreciated. This was with Beltone hearing ********** *************************************************. ************

      I constantly receive advertisements from beltone. I have called their customer service on three different occasions, none of the operators would give anything other than their first names, no operator number or employee id numbers and I have asked them to remove me from their mailing lists. They have stated that they do not have me on their mailing lists so I am providing proof that they continue to send me junk advertisements in violation of the CAN-SPAM Act.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I have received this response from beltone twice before; unfortunately, I do not have scans of the continued CAN-SPAM Act violations.  I will however, forward this complaint and it's information to the Federal Trade Commission's scam and fraud complaints.  Since they continue to put their name on the junk mail it should be rather easy for them to prosecute these scam artists.
