On June ****** I called a number advertising air conditioning services. I set an appointment for air conditioning repair and paid $149 that I thought would go toward the price of repair. Later, I searched through the receipt and found I had been signed up for their subscription. I also was set to re-subscribe in June 2025 and I can't figure out how to cancel it. The address I received services at is ****************************************. The email that was used is ********************* though I don't currently have access to it. They have my name and my AmEx credit card info and my phone number. I would like two things: 1. Refund the $149 I paid, or at minimum half that price. 2. ****** the subscription so I don't get charged again.Initial Complaint

This business is a scam.The Worst Service provider ever. ********* electrical contracting Tech ******* **** came to perform service on Job ID ******. Troubleshooting performed for 30-40mins and no fault was known. Advised new cable to be run and provided an invoice of $1800. Asked to pay full amount to get the job done. Check payment issued out to ******* ****. Job not performed as didn't show up on Thursday, No show on Friday. So no job performed and have not issued my refund for over 2 weeks after charging me $1700. Spoke to Manager **** Play (AKA Juda) and not able to resolve nor try to give a courtesy call to resolve. Called another 3rd party electrician who was able to find fault in 20minutes and went to the attic where the junction box was and resolved issue. ********* Electrical contracting ******* **** non-responsive tech not answering calls nor is issuing my refund back. ********* as a whole is basically a fraud company where they charge customers in full, take added advantage of their problem and then don't perform service on time. Don't show up and don't refund the customers money and that too a huge sum. I would give a "0" star rating if available. Following up with ********* where they hang up on you, non responsive and the worst electrical contracting company available. I have all the details of both techs and ********* Electrical Contracting and will make sure they are under Law enforcement tracker for scamming Texans.Initial Complaint

I had a new furnace installed from ******* ************* Service on 2/8/2023... it seems that Premium Home Services has acquired the company and I am now having to deal with them. My heat has stopped working so I called on Monday to have a technician come out. They took my credit card information in order to reserve a spot from 1-4 pm. They no showed so I called at 4 and they said they'd call right back which they did not. I called next day to set up another time and they said their technician will call me. He never did. Called again in the evening only to be told the same thing, they'll call me right back which again they did not. I have my husband call and they confirmed a technician will be at our house Wednesday from 4:30-6. He shows up at 6:30 and unfortunately is not able to fix our furnace. We're told they will contact ******* ************* Service since they're the ones that installed it and call us next day by 10 with an update on next steps. Once again they do not call so we call them at 11 to find they have no update for us... conclusion: they are now a fraudulent company and have zero customer care skills nor empathy for us not having heat all week with two young kids. This business needs to be held accountable for this atrocious experience. If they acquired a company then they should be held liable for all previous installations and services.Initial Complaint

They charged me $139 for a subscription and tax on it. I asked where are they located and they said they were in *******, ** but they are not located there. It was on July 10 and the charge was on my **************** card. They sent an electrician out and I paid him for his time, parts and labor. The *** said it was a $69.99 online booking fee. I told him I am not doing it online. I told the *** to cancel it and to not come out. They said I should not be charged a service fee but they said it was a booking fee. I feel like the whole thing was a scam. I would like a refund and to cancel my services.Initial Complaint

We have canceled service worth RCN on Oct ******. I have been told that a few months ago we changed our policy and you will be billed until the end of your billing period .I have no information regarding this nor have I signed a contract agreeing to this. I called to have an electrician come out and diagnose a problem they said in order for someone to come out it will be a $150. I agreed bc that is normal. If I decided to move forward with work then I would be charged for the work. Electrician came out and diagnosed problem. Told me to call main electric company for ******* Texas bc it is not something they could do. Then electrician told me I had to pay $362 for his diagnostics. I tried to argue but he was not going to leave without collecting so I paid and immediately called premium home service to complain. For a month now I have been getting the run around and they say they are taking care of it but no one has. on 6-10-2024 I contacted this a company called North Texas Electrical Contractors for electric emergency. They insisted on payment upfront to dispatch electrician by 9 am next day by 4 pm nobody arrived I contacted business and they were vague about electrician saying"he should have been there". I contacted them on 6-11, 6-12 and 6-13 they said they would refund money and provide email documentation that money would be refunded. I never recieved an email and they billed me for the service they never provided. I stopped payment on bank but they had already recieved money.Initial Complaint

In June 2023, I booked electrical service from JR's ********** *** in ********. I received an email from "Premium Home Service" at that time. I 100% did NOT sign up for any sort of annual membership or subscription. In June 2024, I was notified that my card would be billed for an automatic renewal ($159) from Premium Home Service. I never agreed to such a subscription in the first place. I had to call to cancel. If I were not on top of my emails, I would have been charged.Initial Complaint

This company initially convinced me to use their services by saying they change $149 initial fee for technician to come out to access the job at hand then then give an estimate. The $149 would be one time fee and I wont have to pay it again for another services the company can provide. Despite charging the initial fee they charged me an additional $125 for diagnostic fee. The technicians left the job incomplete with wires exposed which a huge safety concern. The technician quoted me $120/hour and they completed the work in 2 hours over two days. The company in their estimate charged me $150/hour for three hours. After working with subpar technicians who were probably not liscenced they charged my credit card for the amount of $695 without even discussing the estimate with me. I have since called trying to get in touch with the manager 15 times over time period of 3 weeks and he has refused to call me back to resolve the discrepancy issue. They also went ahead and cancelled my subscription but have not refunded the initial $149 back to me. This company is scamming its customers , hiring unprofessional unlicensed people so they can profit off providing sub par unsafe services.
