Filed taxes with this agency, was charged $250.00 and the taxes have not been submitted to the *** website. When I enter my information to check my refund status no information is available. This is an issue happening to many other customers with the same issue. The agency is holding everyone's tax information taking payment and failing to submitt the information for the refund to be processed and they refuse to issue a refund to us.Initial Complaint

Angel **********************'s agency has been preparing my taxes for the past 10+ years. For the past 2 years I have had the same issue of filing them with him. Last year, I gave him ****** but this year, I am now seeing that this is occurring to not only me but several people I know.I am filing this complaint to express my profound dissatisfaction and frustration with the services provided by Mr. ********************** and his agency. On January 26, 2024 I emailed Mr. ********************** my tax information and on February 3, 2024 after paying him a total of $250, he emailed me my paperwork letting me know that all has been completed. After several weeks and checking the *** website, no records were found of my taxes. Despite numerous attempts to reach out via phone calls, emails, and text messages, I have received no response from Mr. **********************. My brother, who also paid him for his services, is going through the same problem as I am. My brother who is able to visit Mr. **********************'s office went by today, March 8, 2024 to speak to him in person and request a refund. Mr. ********************** told him our money is non refundable and that he was having a slight issue with the *** that was not allowing him to file but once he was able to solve that, he was going to refile everyone's paperwork.I have left messages with Mr. ********************** messages asking that he refund my money so I can take my services elsewhere. On March 10th 2023 I filed my income taxes with this agency and the *** has no record of my taxes ever being filed. I tried contacting this agency for correspondence yet they continue to avoid my calls. I was charged $300 for this service yet there is no government transaction to be found.Initial Complaint

On April 28th, 2022 I dropped off my tax documents at *********************** ************ My documents included my 2020 and 2021 1099's , all my gas receipts from those years and copies of my Social Security Award letters that have my social security number on them. I didnt hear back so I started calling them back and leaving messages but no one was answering or returning my calls , I went there many times and the office was closed . I emailed *********************** and he did email me back and said someone from his office would call me but that never happened. Someone named ****** finally answered the phone last week . I told her what happened and she checked the office and said my paperwork is not there and the owner *********************** probably took it to ****** with him. My taxes were never filed and I dont feel comfortable with my personal documents that have my social security number on them being in ******. I want all my documents returned to me as soon as possible my taxes filed and I'm sure I owe the *** money and theres penalties now. I dont feel I should pay them, they have put me in a uncomfortable and costly postion.
