I filed a previous complaint against this company regarding redemptions. They offer points for you to watch ads and let them track your phone. Those points ra ethe redeemed for cash or gift cards. My last redemption was cancelled and no points refunded. They did this to countless other people. I am accusing them of committing fraud. They promise to offer points for our work, but they are than removing said points. Attached are screenshots of reviews all from the last day. If a lawyer is reading this, this is a HUGE potential for a class action lawsuit. We are talking about hundreds to thousands of people.Initial Complaint

I have been using the Mode app since April 2022. I have redeemed gift cards for about 3 months with no problems. In July I had to complete a facial recognition to receive a gift card. I did and my account was confirmed and I received my gift card. I have redeemed for 3 others and the app has cancelled my gift cards without any explanation. I keep asking and sending an email about why my gift cards were cancelled and whether the points will be refunded to me. I do not get any response other than automatic form emails which all say the same thing but do not give any information. I do keep getting advertising emails from the company, but I do not know whether to keep using the app, or whether my points will be refunded or whether I will receive the gift cards. I send them an email at least once a day to several emails and I never receive a response. The app is supposed to pay you to play games, surveys and listen to music and watch videos which I have done. They have many negative reviews on the PlayStore in the last couple of months.Initial Complaint

This app I installed on my phone and you are supposed to earn rewards for using it. When it comes time to cash out the company won't pay for what they promised. Please see the screenshots I have sent that show that I redeemed my earnings and never received them. I have also included emails that they responded too telling me that it takes longer because they are reviewing my account. I made $40 on this app (Mode Earn App.) and cashed out. I had no problems the three other times.After nearly a month I didn't get what I earned from the app.After sending in a support ticket for both cash outs, they disable my account and my sisters.They said I had two accounts (Told my sister the same thing.), said I had to send in a 5 sec. video of my face to make sure I am human, I did this.They also wanted me to scan my ID as well but I did not do that.They closed my account so I deleted the app.I kept getting things from them through my email, so I unsubscribed, Still getting things from them. So I tried to send them to spam folder. They are still sending me things even though I unsubscribed and set them to go to spam.My mother's account is still active so I have no idea why they closed mine nor my sister's accounts as we have different phones, Emails and everything. It can't be because we are using the same IP because we live with our mother and she uses the same net and her account is fine.At this point I have lost around $80.Initial Complaint

I earned points through there raffle and redeemed the for virtual gift cards 1. 105 dollar card and other for a 50 dollar card and 1 for 20 dollars suppose to take around 7 to 10 days to receive but it's been over a month and still have not recieved them I contacted support and they say they are reviewing account that was 2 weeks ago and still no update on my redemptionInitial Complaint

Mode Mobile appears to no longer pay people who uses their app and instead simply collects user data (including pictures of user's faces) and ad revenue from unknowing users expecting payment. This app at one point did pay people within 3-7 business days, but within the last month there has been a flurry of complaints on the app store that users are not getting paid their redemptions anymore. In fact, they are now banning users without justification as to avoid payments. My redemption was requested on 7/27 to the account on file: ******************* and I have submitted inquiries to Mode Mobile about this issue. Each time I get the same generic response that my account is being reviewed as a "precaution". All of this is a very common theme now for all users. Even on follow-up emails, they give the same response! Their support agents seem to all be bots now. I am owed $20 ($19.20 after PayPal fees) for my recent usage of the app. All of the other users who submitted redemptions are also owed money for their use of the app which one can assume that Mode Mobile now has thousands of dollars not being paid out.Initial Complaint

I have been using this app for a few months without issue. As of July 20th, I have redeemed the points for two paypal payments with enough points for a 3rd. My account was suspended, then banned. I was not given a reason and they are withholding my payments.Initial Complaint

I have been useing the Mode Earn App for a few months now and everything was fine until now. I go to try and redeem my points like I usually have, and 3 weeks later they are still pending. I reach out to their "bot" customer service and got an email the next day stating my account is under review, with no explanation as to why. I go to post a review and I see that I am unable to post one, their attempt to censure me as they try to scam me. I look at the most recent reviews and I see a slew of ones from people saying the same thing happened to them. I have $40 in rewards they me, which is compensation for the electricity to charge my phone and allowing them to keep my phone always on so they can display ads. I've attached screenshots of the pending rewards as well as the history of some of the earned points, and the recent reviews from others.Mode - Pay me the $40 you owe me that I EARNED, I will not go away. I was even saving my points to get a Mode phone, which now I will not do. I want cash instead. This is literally fraud.Initial Complaint

The transaction was 60 days ago today. The are app that gets paid for advertising games surveys and apps. Well on there offer board was complete Robinhood make a investment we will give you $30 within 60 days of completion. I've talked to them 100 times and now that's its time to settle their end of the agreement using every excuse not to pay. On a few different boards. It's everyone it'd happened to. Talk you into spending your money so they can make thousands of you but don't pay you when you complete the offer.
