September 21, 2022, I was hired by CDL 1000 to do a job, haul equipment, I completed the job on September 23, 2022, with the understanding it was a 30day payout. To this date of Nov 4, 2022, payment has not been received. According to ****** reviews this is happening on a weekly, if not daily basis, I am not the only complaint. The amount of money agreed upon is $3000. CDL 1000 has made no attempt of payment and has stopped replying to emails. This company runs on a dishonest system and apparently expect people to work for free when informed of a certain payment amount for services rendered. The *** seems to live a lavish lifestyle and needs to be investigated when a $3000 invoice can't be paid.I have attached invoice stating payment amount, date, invoice number, and contact I spoke to for said services.Business response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, they did finally submit payment to my account, but unfortunately, it took you notifying them of my complaint for me to get that payment. ************ has done this to several of their carriers, there are an abundant amount of ****** reviews stating the same excuse they give for the last 6 months. If they have a problem with their payment system, maybe they just need to go back to issuing paper checks and overnight them. Thank you for your time in researching this company. It will be the last time I do business for them.

On August 16th 2022 i provided a hauling service to CDL 1000 from Sidney **** to *********** *************. I am complaining about the overall ethical conduct of this organization. I was told that i would be paid for my services in 30days and each time i contacted them and provided the necessary paperwork to get paid i was sent in circles. My factoring company got involved sent them more paperwork and they were ignored. After reaching out to them on Tuesday for the final time with all required paperwork again i was told it would be 30 more days before i see any kind of payment. I provided a service and it's simple ethics CDL 1000 should do the right thing. Instead i am being brushed off or ignored.Business response

As a company that cares about customer service, we are always seeking honest feedback about our company whether it's good or bad so that we can continue improving our posture of readiness, capabilities, and customer satisfaction. The experience you detailed is a consequence of growing pains on our end that had inundated our accounting teams as a whole. Customer service and response time indeed had fallen through during the time when you had logged this complaint. I can share with you that while our operations had seen 10x growth this year, our accounting team had not scaled properly in proportion to managing that growth. We had become over extended in our payment obligations but I'm happy to tell you that through 10 weeks of hard work, we've largely overcome the problem and are back to normal now. For your bad experience, I can only thank you for your patience and for paying us the courtesy of being honest and pointing this out. We seek to be a better company every day and value your feedback. I am happy to tell you that even though we had become extended on payables, we have managed to pay every single carrier who had given trucks to us. We have made evolutionary leaps now in terms of creating visibility for our carriers on payables and also in adding more personnel to our teams to help answer calls and e-mails promptly.Initial Complaint

Invoice sent for a transportation service requested by CDL 1000 Inc. Invoice sent by email as requested on April 8th 2022. 173 days later, today Sept 28th 2022, payment was supposedly mailed out 4 times bu was never received.Business response

J. R. *******, we're sorry to read about the experience but we value the honest feedback you've provided. Having checked the history of the load you'd done with us, I can see there was some confusion about the payment and banking information on your end that had caused hold **** While I don't have all the details in writing, I feel that this problem could have been resolved faster than it did and for that, the company apologizes to you. Over the last 2 months, we have made great strides in rebuilding the customer service aspects of our back office team as we had experienced many growing pains in that area due to massive scaling this year in operations. I can tell you that if you would work with us again, you would not run into the same issue. Thank you again for sharing this feedback as it gives us signals to reach for that make us a better company every day.
