On August 27, 2024 I pulled a copy of my credit report from ********** and saw that my credit score had gone down significantly as a result of a collections account which was filed by this company around March 2024 for a hospital visit to The ****************** on 10/24/2022. I provided the The ****************** with my complete insurance at the time of service. ****************** contracted their ER physicians to a second company called ***** ** Physicians. ****************** does not tell patients who the provider is working for, and as best the patient knows, they are getting service from the ****************** and their representatives. ****************** then shares the insurance information with its contractor. I called the ****************** and they confirmed they received my insurance details and provided it with its contractor ***** ** Physicians, but ***** ** Phsyicians failed to bill my insurance. This company Intermountain Emergency Physicians who manages billing for ***** ** Phsycians failed to bill me and failed to bill my insurance. I called them and asked them to remove the account from collections since they had my insurance information and never notified me, and they refused to take my account from collections. They insisted that there is nothing they can do because now ***** ** Physicians is not their customer. However, they are the ones who submitted me to collections and they can remove me from collections. Intermountain Emergency Physicians also refuses to give me adequate contact information for ***** ** Physicians. They gave me a number to a new billing company who confirmed they did not send my account to collections. I want Intermountain Emergency Physicians to remove my account from collections and properly submit the bill to insurance. The ****************** already billed my insurance for the date of service on 10/24/2022 and was already paid in full by my insurance.

We received a medical bill with no explanation for emergency care with no explanation, no itemized explanation with a due date to pay within a week. The billing was for a year ago; we had no idea we owed anything because so much time had passed with no indication of any amount owning. This business will ruin our credit with no fault on our part when we now have great credit. This was a surprise billing and we pay the price. We are retired, on a fixed income, and this is not in our budget. If we are responsible we will pay, but on agreed to payment plan--they didn't give us that option.

On August 14th 2020 me and my 3 children were involved in an Auto accident and was not at fault. We were seen at the *********************** I gave the hospital claim numbers and all the nessicery insurance documents for billing. Everything was paid. Then 3 years later i get a letter saying that Intermountain emergency physicans are now sending 1 of the bills to collection where they are going to garnish my wages. That was not okay with me so I called them to ask why when the bills were paid. I have proof that the bills were and are paid. They informed me that it wasnt paid and continued to garnish my wages. I called my auto insurance claims adjustor *********************** and she to called Intermountain and sent the The *** and bill pay off forms again to prove that it was paid and that they are wrongfully collecting extra money. Now this company will not ************* and I cant get any answers. The bill was $477 and they recieved that and took an additional 1200 from me. I am looking to report this company for fraud and I would love to get my money back. This company has so many reviews just like mine that something needs to be done. I am waiting on the papers from ************************* that are from Intermountain

I was seen in the ** in May 2021. I received a bill from the emergency physician group and was investigating why it was so expensive and not paid by insurance. I was told by this group to pay it so I would not go to collections. I then received a letter from them in Jan. 2022 asking if I had insurance. I also contacted my insurance and found that they had a contract with the group to only charge a certain price for services. I included the information to the group for a refund as they overcharged me. I have called at least 20 times and sent multiple emails. They always say they will process my refund and then I hear and receive nothing. They are being fraudulent with their billing and using scare tactics to get more money from people. I would like my $291.38 refunded plus interest as this has been a frustrating and stressful situation.

I received a letter containing no information just saying that I will be sent to collections. No option to pay online or over the phone. I tried checking the info over the phone but the account number provided in the letter was incorrect. I called to see what Thai is about and I found out it is a bill that was sent to me in a statement on June 17, 2022! After that no other statements were sent and I receive this ridiculous letter with zero information. The person on the phone couldnt even pull up the info with the account number provided and had to ask several different questions to see who the bill is related to and where it as issued?! Additionally my last name was misspelled. How can there be zero information provided and no statements sent since JUNE?! Why is there zero information provided - I paid it in full but have no idea what I paid for! Id like ti see a break down of the charges for $160.57 that I paid for! I do not want to pay for any late or interest fees because I got zero information on this bill!

Mountainland collections, LLC dba MLC, through EPIC EMERG PHYS INTEGRATED, sent me a letter claiming I owe them money. They stated that as of October 15, 2021 I owed $1272.00, I was charged $37.30 in interest, $5.00 in fees. Claims I paid or was credited $772.79 on this amount so they claim that the account balance owed is at $541.51. I have not receive any information on this since October 15. 2021, they only gave me this information when if was going to go on my credit report as a delinquent account. I have no knowledge prior to this letter of this amount that I owe. They then say to log on to their online portal to dispute the charges, but in their conditions of use that by signing that I "Throughout our ********** Services (including the website www.mlcpayments.com), you will encounter phrases such as Current Balance or Balance Due. You acknowledge and accept that the amounts displayed are current as of the date upon which they are displayed, and that your account(s) may be subject to such things as ongoing interest and fees as allowed by law." How am I supposed to dispute this charge if, by accepting the conditions of use, I am accepting that the account balance is accurate? I have read reviews on BBB website about how this company runs fraudulently, I don't want to have to pay money I don't owe to a company I have never heard of before. To my knowledge, I have paid every medical **** to date. I very recently paid everything off and now this company comes in to claim more money, which is very frustrating.

I have contacted Intermountain Emergency Physicians four separate occasions to resolve this billing issue. Twice I requested for a supervisor to call me back and I was never called back. service agents were no help in resolving this issue. This service is covered by my insurance company Cigna. I spoke to Cigna twice about this issue and they specifically told me that the company has not correctly submitted the paperwork and they would be happy to ]them if they filed the paperwork correctly. On two occasions Cigna directly called them to try and help agent fill out the paperwork correctly. Once no one responded to them and the second time they advised the agent on the mistakes and how to resolve them.I have attached the Cigna document -see note on page 3 that indicates that I have no responsibility for this charge.
