      Contracted moving service. Items were picked up and loaded on October 31, 2023 and supposed to be delivered to ********* ******* within 3 days. Almost one month later after multiple phone calls and emails, nothing has been delivered and no communication is being received from HK Worldwide Moving. At this point I am looking for them to delivery household items they have in their possession that should have been delivered 3 weeks ago and I want a partial refund for failure to meet their commitments and the noncommunication throughout this process.Below is a timeline of the last 2 weeks and email I have sent:We spoke Friday, November 17 and I was promised a call on Monday, November 20 with a status and that you were trying to confirm delivery before Thanksgiving. I received no phone call on Monday I called and left messages Tuesday and Wednesday with no response Here I am emailing the following Tuesday still with no response or status and nothing delivered almost a month later. I need confirmation of the following immediately: 1 - your actually still in business 2 - where is my shipment currently 3 - when it will be delivered 4 - how much you are refunding me for your failure to fulfill your contracted commitment As you can tell my patience has been at an end for tolerance of this inept handling.       We have talked to the customer twice in the past 2 days and we provided him with a delivery ETA for this weekend. He is being delivered within his contractual terms. We apologize for any delay.

      I contracted with the company to provide moving services. The move was scheduled for 8/30/23 from 2-6pm EST. I emailed *************** and spoke with ********, head of customer service, at 5pm 8/30/23 to inquire as to when they would be there. ******** told me they were on their way and she didnt need to know my name or number because my phone number and name was showing up on their end so it was all good. I called at 6:15 and every number with every option were not there or there voicemail boxes were all full. I finally reached ***** and he left me on hold for ************************************ They never came, never returned my emails or texts and kept my deposit. I have sustained damages for having to retain another mover at a much higher cost as well as $3,100 in non-refundable car hauling charges. *** notified the ************************ and have retained an attorney to file suit.

      The customer was contacted 2 days prior to the move to notify him that we would not be able to service his move. The customer was verbally aggressive toward our staff and we chose not to move forward with his move. We did not feel like we were a good fit for his needs.

      I am rejecting this response because: it is a flat out lie. I never got a chance to speak to anyone. Do they record their calls? If they do please provide me the recording they are referring to in which I was aggressive. This company extorts money, provides no service and then doesnt expect anyone to fight back. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!

      If the customer has not receieved his deposit back, we will make sure he receives it by next week. We would also like to remind the customer that our company only provided him with a move estimate and not a guarenteed price. If the company he hired charged him more, it is most likely because he needed additional services (that were charged based on their fees). If we had done the pick up he might have still ended up paying that amount or more, as additional services would have been charged (as necessary) according to our pricing. Just like the customer has the right to cancel a move, we (the second party on the contract) have the right to refuse to enter a contract/do business with a client that we don't feel comfortable with moving forward.

      We hope the company he hired was up to his standards.

      I am rejecting this response because: I asked the company to provide a copy of this phone call in which I was aggressive but they still havent. Thats because it never happened. I want my deposit back. You cant unilaterally break a contract and keep my deposit. I have also reached out to my congressman. I will not let this go.

      As stated in the previous response, we looked into the refund requested by the customer. Since a refund hadn't been processed, we addressed this right away and finalized the refund (see attached refund receipt). An email confirmation was also sent to the customer.
