December 2024 (around 12/14) I ordered a bottle of ********* Bourbon from Bottle Buzz. Total cost with shipping and insurance was $191.13. When the package arrived, the bottle was leaking. The packing was wet and smelled of bourbon. I called the company and explained the issue. The person I spoke with refused to help me. He said this was considered minor damage. I told him I was concerned there could be glass fragments in the bourbon. He would not help me. I filed a dispute with my credit card company and soon received an email from Bottle Buzz offering me a 15% discount on the bottle I had or a replacement. I opted for a replacement and asked if they would be sending me packaging to return the leaking bottle. I did not receive a response. I started following up via email. Each time I was given the runaround. I was told this was being forwarded to a department that could take care of this. NOTHING has been done, and it is now mid March.Initial Complaint

I placed an online order on Bottle Buzz on 12/27/24. On 1/6/25 I had not received any shipping information and sent an email inquiry. There was no response and after 3 more business days, I contacted their toll free number and was told by a live agent my order was in advance shipping and tracking would be provided soon. I have now sent 8 email inquiries, some with responses my issue was being escalated but never any progression. On 2/4/25, after my 7th email asking for an update, I was told to my issue was being worked on and not to contact again for 48 hours. I sent my 8th follow up on 2/13/25 and still have no update or response. I have asked for a refund on 4 occasions and get no response. I believe this is a scam and would appreciate any assistance from BBB.Initial Complaint

I purchased a bottle of whiskey on December 20, 2024 as a gift. The company took my payment and it has never shipped. I requested over 5 times to cancel my order and to refund the payment and they refuse. They have provided no assistance or explanation of why I havent received my product or why it wasnt shipped. I placed an order on Wednesday, December 18th and paid $93.09 for Next Day Delivery and $39.99 for 24-Hour Expedited Processing and Handling. I paid these extra fees totaling over $130 so that the order was guaranteed to arrive on Friday, December 20th. I called and emailed on Thursday, December 19th to confirm if the order had shipped, and was told that "*** does not provide tracking numbers, but your order is scheduled to be delivered on Friday, December 20th." I called again on Friday and was told again that "*** does not provide tracking numbers, but the order is scheduled to arrive tomorrow by 3 pm." I asked repeatedly for a tracking number, as it makes no sense that *** would not provide that, and the agent was unable to help me.Initial Complaint

Purchased 2 bottles of expensive Ancestral mezcal. Received 2 bottles of cheap Artesanal mezcal. Contacted the seller several times over several weeks. Dec 10, 2023 I purchased three bottles of blantons to be delivered to my house. When the alcohol arrived I noticed the bottles were a slightly different size and didnt come with the signature bag that comes along with it. One of the products was leaking which is why I originally contacted the company. I felt their response was a little sketchy so researched the rules on ********** rules and realized it was illegal to ship to consumers in **************.
