Was looking at women's orthopedic shoes on Amazon and was redirected to Orthofit website. This Orthofit site indicated true to size and easy returns. WARNING-This is an unethical website. I ordered ladies size 10 wide, three weeks later, received UPS package from Illinois. The shoes were approximately a size 8. I immediately contacted Orthofit in an email to initiate a return. A few days later, I received a call from Customer service that said I agreed to the sites terms and therefore am responsible for return tracking shipping. He said I need to return to China. I told him they sent me the wrong size and the package came from Illinois & declined his terms. I did a dispute with my credit card, American Express. The dispute department said that the merchant return policy is paid by customer and sided with Orthofit. I told Amex that orthofit sent wrong size and forwarded the Federal Trade Commission's law that the merchant must ensure order is correct, including correct size, otherwise the merchant is responsible for return shipping EVEN IF THEIR POLICY READS THE CUSTOMER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR RETURN SHIPPING. I reopened the dispute with Amex, & I'm still fighting with orthofit and refuse to pay $59.95 for their mistake. Also the shoes are very poor quality. I attempted to post a one star review on Orthofit site, tried three times and my review has not shown up on their site. Only fraudulent 5 star reviews posted by the company to boost their sales. I'm also reporting this Orthofit to the state Attorney General's Office as well as the Better Business Bureau.

I wish I would have read these prior to purchase. The shoes are very small. I even ordered up a size. If I want to try to return them, it is to China. The shoe soles are made of cheap plastic. Do not order from this company.

I ordered two pairs of shoes for my aching feet and didn’t receive them until after I filed a case with my PayPal account. The was emailed that they were reordered without charging me again. Wow but when I received them they are nothing like what was presented on website ,soft flexible sole instead hard cheap plastic. I was finally sent a return address which is to China with a 31.00 fee. Unacceptable

Poor quality shoes, shoes do not fit well, no support for the arch. The return policy said "hassle free return" which is not true. They will not take the shoes back even if you just try it on to see how it fits. This is a scam store, do not by from them. I should have read the reviews.

Agree there should be a zero star option. Scam company in China. Poor quality and poor customer service. Unsure if I should donate the terrible shoes to some unlucky soul or simply throw them away. Lesson learned. Only buy from OrthoFit if you really want cheaply made, terrible quality items. Nothing about their shoes is orthotic.

scammers the company is handled in a small village in china. no US numbers or address. They have Auto generated response to all e mails. They ask you to buy a size larger and when that fails for the customer, they want customer to pay $100 shipping fee to send the item back. They take no responsibility. The quality of their shoe is the same as buying plastic at the dollar store. The shoes come in plastic bag. no receipts, no box, no letter. PURE SCAM STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

This Chinese company is operating under a name so similar to a reputable company (OrthoFeet is the reputable company). Their goal is to confuse the customer, which you can tell from all the reviews on various sites, they have succeeded in. You can't find them online by Orthofit.com, which is by design - you have to hunt to find their website. The shoes/boots they sell are cheaply made and small in size. Returns are IMPOSSIBLE. When you finally get a return form (if you do), you will need to return the shoes to China, paying all costs for shipping. They discourage you from shipping, informing you that customs fees are the buyer’s responsibility. They state in their return policy that "shoes that have been tried on are not eligible for a return". They allow you 30 days to return the shoes, but they string you along for weeks before you get a return form - so there is no chance the shoes would make it to China in time to be eligible for a return. Of course, none of this is disclosed before you purchase the shoes/boots. They have covered every base to ensure that you can't return the shoes for a refund. I am very surprised that ****** or the legitimate shoe company, whose name they are riding on, hasn't had these scammers shut down. BEWARE!

BUYER BEWARE! I ordered 2 pair of sneakers from OrthoFit on December 2 as a gift for December 20, but they did not arrive until December 30. Upon arrival, I tried them on while wearing clean socks as I would in a traditional brick and mortar shoe store. They were not comfortable where the arch hits and the toe box was collapsed placing pressure on my toes. Upon requesting the "hassle free return and refund" as stated on their website, I received a reply stating that they will not accept shoes that have been worn due to strict hygiene reasons. Of course they also inquired as to how I kne they were not comfortable. As photos were requested, I took a picture of on shoe on the left foot and the orther color on the right. I responded that I followed all appropriate protocols for trying on shoes, which their website does not forbid. They offered a $10 in store credit. I declined and they offered a 15% partial refund in addition to the $10 in store credit. I again declined and am still awaiting full satisfaction with regard to their "hassle free return policy". Ater leaving this review, I plan to contact my credit card company and file a complaint. BUYER BEWARE!
