Absolutely awful experience. First, they charged me extra for the option to "select seat" on a JetBlue flight and then it turns out JetBlue did not save the seat at all. They then claimed seat selection was never guaranteed in the first place and refused to refund the flight. Wasted over an hour with customer service on this and zero resolution. They actually said the best thing to do was to just let ******* assign a random seat upon checking in. This comes after I paid extra for seat selection to Orbitz. I even have the screenshots of Orbitz showing my exact seat was supposedly reserved and the seat number and letter I was supposed to have. This company has no ethics.

They don't honor their "rewards". At platinum tier they are supposed to provide a voucher for TSA pre-check... its been over a month and i have contacted them 5 or 6 times so far. Each time they say "oh I am so sorry, your ticket has been elevated and somebody will contact you within 72 hours" but of course nobody ever does.

Made 2 night hotel reservation for **************, ***************************************. When I got there it was called Casanova Boutique Motel. I asked and the name was changed 2 years ago. Front desk said they don't do reservations and that they don't even have a computer. Orbitz Email comes up blank. Received VRBO Email related to the reservation. I've never used VRBO. Another lady at the front desk mentioned other Orbitz scams, especially a family that came from ********** and booked for a week, later to find out that it was the same Orbitz scam. Got another room with my cash and received a receipt by Crossway Motel (old name of the hotel from 2 years ago). Orbitz File Claim takes you to website ********************* which asks for address and personal information again and again without end. Called Orbitz **************** which redirected me to ****, who said to contact the property manager directly , which sends you to an answer machine immediately. Started a dispute with my credit card; will need to wait 90 days with no guarantee of positive outcome. This is a SCAM! Beware! FRAUD! *******!
