On March 12, 2024 I parked in lot ***** in **********, ** and I paid $14.50 per the instructions and have attached the receipt. Four months later I received a notice of non-payment (also attached) claiming I didn't pay the fee and they assigned me ticket *****17108808983.The notice provides a link to either pay or appeal the ticket. When attempting to do that it responds with "Dispute is not allowed for the same violation!" and I am unable to submit the dispute (I've attached a screenshot of this). This means that the company will not even allow for a dispute when I have a receipt for the payment. They've created a mechanism where not only they charge you twice for an already paid service, they seek more funds through a ticket and provide you 40 days before they send the case to collections, causing grave damage to credit ratings. This company is either unethical/criminal or both and must be stopped from stealing from its customers.

Received a letter from a debt collector in the mail, stating that I had a parking violation from SP Plus Corporation. I have no idea what this violation is in reference to and, to my knowledge, have no parking violations. I dont know what city or even state this supposed violation occurred in, or when, or for how long I was supposedly parked there. There is absolutely no way I even parked anywhere that would have incurred the charges they are saying I owe ($112). When I try to access an account using the account number listed on the debt collection letter, it says there is no account under that number. The company will not answer phone calls or provide me with any information whatsoever.

The situation began on 6/8/24 when I parked for an arts festival in ********. I parked in a lot that I later found out was owned by SP Plus Parking. I paid for 3hrs. Close to, but not after my time was up, I got to my car and left the lot. A few weeks later I received in the mail a violation notice from the company claiming I owe them $90.99. The notice indicates I overstayed by 2 minutes and 7 seconds. I was diligent in making sure I made it back to my car on time. I believe that they started timing my parking from when I entered the lot whereas I timed it from when I paid at the machine at the lot. A company that will demand an extra $90 dollars from its clients under threats of sending them to collections is using extortion and should be investigated.

Let me start off by saying since I have worked downtown from 2019 I have been forced to use this company to park because they literally have the entire downtown. I have an account with them and always pay every single week to go to work at the *************. Since the pandemic has ended more people have started coming into office and this company took advantage of that by price gouging! But what can you do if you want to go make money for a living you have to pay their inflated toll, fine. But this company is not humane, they are not taking into account that people who work everyday may sometimes be in a rush and forget to pay at the moment. So someone who parks weekly in your lot (which can easily be checked) is fined $60 for a $5 parking spot absolutely unacceptable. The ticket has little to no information besides what they want you to pay, and of course there is no phone number on the ticket. What makes a company think it is ok to hand out $60 parking tickets to hard working people with no phone number listed on it that is 1000% shady. This is my 2nd time forgetting to pay to park in 7 years and I got $60 tickets both times. In a time of high inflation and people struggling what makes yall think that is ok? I tried to dispute the first ticket they gave me in 2023 but like I said this company is not trying to be in contact with its "customers". The previous ticket I also tried to explain to them it was pouring rain that day and I had a long walk so forgetting to pay to park when you always do is a humane error but this company is as greedy as they come! I paid for my parking spot today its order #*********..... I would like both tickets removed off my record and you guys need to stop living like it's 1999 and get a system to alert patrons that use your app that their parking space needs to be paid for. Look online there are so many complaints of this exact nature, you guys really need to do better your a burden on the people trying to work downtown.

Violation # *************** On January 31st, 2024, while attempting to pay for parking through a phone application, my entry, along with everyone else in the same parking area, received an error message on our phones, making payment impossible. The first contact from this "company" was a collection letter dated May 21st, 2024 from a law firm in ***** for an amount that's about 2.5 times what parking should have been. When I tried to dispute the charges on the "company's" website, it stated that "Dispute is not allowed for the same violation!" When I called the collection lawyer, they refused to forward me the contact information of the "company" to find out why i couldn't dispute the "violation". If your technology is so pathetic it can't handle non-human contact, I guess sending letters from attorneys will get your money for you, right? Your "technology" knew it didn't work that particular time, your "technology" knew multiple people couldn't pay in that interim, and your "technology" could have contacted the ones affected to say "hey, sorry for the issue, this is the amount you should have paid". Nope... send in the lawyers after the reached peasants that we scammed for parking for a couple of hours. Nice customer "no service", cable companies are jealous right now. If this end up as a **** on my credit report, it will be the most expensive $26.99 you never got.

I have tried to reach out to this company for weeks. The number they have listed has been disconnected. I have sent multiple emails through their website and never gotten a response. There is no way to get in touch with them but they are threatening to send this to collections. How is that legal? They are charging me for an unpaid parking fee and some kind of ticket, but there has been a mistake. There was a sign that day saying the parking was free and there is an issue with their cameras anyway because it says I entered at 3:58 AM.

I had a recent complaint (#********) with SP+ we came to a settlement but no action has yet been taken on there part so I would like to reopen complaint. I spoke via email with a couple of representatives from SP+ parking ************************* and ***********************. They were very helpful in my initial inquiry I was told my fees could be reduced as a courtesy on May 2nd. It is currently the 21st and my fees have not been updated I would like to be able to go in and pay the fees at the updated price but have not received any further correspondence on the matter. There is currently $170 in collections from the initial incident that I would like to get settled and see if anything in collections could also be reduced.

On May 17, 2024, at 7:32 AM, I paid for parking at a pay station box located on the property of the ***************************************** lot. I paid $2 for parking in cash. I received a little receipt saying that my parking receipt was good until May 17, 2024 11:59pm. At around 6pm, upon returning to my vehicle, I a parking citation for $25 for Non Payment, including another $2 for the parking fee. This citation was at 9:19am. Now, I messaged **************** for SPPLUS and have not received ANY sort of notification that my dispute has been heard, or read. I even sent a picture of both my PAID parking ticket and the Violation ticket, that 2 hours before the false violation, I had paid for my ticket for that parking space. For days now, I have waited to heard back with no results.
