1 star***** using this company, they overbooked this location, when we showed up the valet guy turned us away and said he was oit of space to call for a refund. We were left scrambling to try and find a parking spot elsewhere. I call the next day to get a refund and the lady wanted me to fill out a form to proof that we parked elsewhere. I had to let her know that SpotHero dropped the ball and overbooked, and the very least they can do is issue an immediate refund, so we got our money back, avoid!Review fromAndrew L

1 starSpotHero is not a trustworthy site. They sold me airport parking that didn't exist. When I arrived at the lot, I was told the lot was full and to leave. I had to scramble at the last minute to find parking, and I paid a much higher price for it. That was 10 days ago. SpotHero's customer service did not resolve this to my satisfaction, and the partial refund they promised has not shown up on my credit card statement. To add insult to injury, the parking lot location is still listed on SpotHero as a place where you can book parking. Does SpotHero care at all about customers? I doubt it. In short, I'd call ********************** absolutely unreliable, and they fail to make the situation right when they s**** up. Case #********Review fromMichael H

5 starsSpot Hero is an on line capability to reserve a parking spot. I used it to reserve a spot near the ***************************, near the ******************** where the Washington Capitals play. Spot Hero provided me with my reservation in a nearby parking garage from 4PM-10PM. After making my reservation, I contacted Spot Hero and asked if my electronic ** code would be activated during period of the reservation. She assured me that it would be activated and sent me a PDF file with the ** code backup which I used on arrival at the parking garage. I thanked her for guiding me through the process and feel that this service is very worthwhile for ensuring parking in the ************* area.Review fromJo M

1 starI could find no way to leave an actual ****** REVIEW for this so called company. We booked a parking space before we left ******* for a game in ***********, *****. When we arrived in ***** and went to go to game, the lot was FULL! Even though we booked a spot well before our travel and arrival, the lot was FULL when we got there. No bueno. Clearly they OVERBOOK lots. If you are traveling a distance, you cannot depend on SPOTHERO. They are not heroes in my book.Review fromShea S

1 starThe garage I chose and paid for did not exist. As I drove round at 330 am trying to find it, most missing my flight, I ended up parking my car elsewhere because spot hero call center didnt open until 6am. After landing I call them to get a refund and told them the garage that was listed was blocked off for construction and was not in use at all and they still would not refund me my money. ******** customer service and a true SCAM.Review fromNels N

1 starPaid for valet parking. ***** company said they wouldnt be there four hours later so they parked our car and gave us the keys back. Valet attendant parked the car near an alley and got a parking ticket. Told SpotHero we wanted our parking fee refunded along with reimbursement for the $50 parking ticket. A couple noncommittal responses saying somehow the parking ticket would be taken care of, although I doubt theyre doing anything. No response about refunding the parking fee for this fiasco. They apparently like to collect all the fees for being a middleman in the parking business but they dont take care of problems or provide proper customer service.Review fromMichael N

1 starWe booked a three-day spot online with SpotHero for a convention in *******. Upon arriving, there were no spots available, even though the website said there was one. The customer service then redirected us to hotel nearby, and the hotel (of course) didnt allow us to park there if we werent staying in the hotel. We ended up finding our own parking. I expected to be refunded because we didnt use their service, and the customer service indicated that would be the case. But three days later, I received an email saying my SpotHero account would be refunded (no credits have shown up yet). I called customer service to let them know I wanted my account credited, as Id likely not have need to use the service again in the near future. After having a back and forth with the **** she said shed be escalating my case to a supervisor who I wasnt able to speak with directly. Im really hoping I wont have to call their office every day for the foreseeable future, but its ridiculous that I cant get refunded for a service I didnt use. 1 starAbsolutely atrocious experience with SpotHero. I purchased a parking pass for the ************************* at ****************************** for March 8th, 2025, expecting a smooth process. Instead, we arrived to find the lot completely full. The owner informed us he double-books the lot and flat-out doesnt honor SpotHero passestold us to take it up with the company ourselves. We ended up missing our childrens event at the ***************** because of this fiasco, turning what shouldve been a fun day into a nightmare. SpotHeros customer service? Nonexistent. No response to our messages, no credit offered, nothing. This company is a disgracethey need to remove this shady lot from their app and start taking responsibility for their customers. Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy being scammed and stranded. Zero stars if I could.Review fromLorie P

I use SpotHero regularly to find a garage in ***. My experience with the company is shockingly wonderful! SpotHero has been one of the most honest and accommodating companies that I have had encountered in the city. For example, recently I found that the garage I had reserved had a line of cars so long that we could have missed the curtain for our show. We found another garage. SpotHero refunded our payment and paid the difference between the two garages. We were surprised and impressed by the integrity they showed. We are fans.

Utterly unreliable. I paid in advance (including an oversize fee) for 3 different garages in *************, to support a weekend trip my family was making. Each of the 3 garages were specifically listed by Spothero as supporting oversize vehicles up to certain dimensions. (And again, I paid Spothero in advance and received email confirmation: not just for the spot, but for the oversize fee.) Upon arrival, 2 of the garages told me they could not accommodate me at all. And the 3rd insisted that I pay an extra fee on the spot, basically saying too bad about Spothero; you're paying us too, and if you don't like it, move on. Spotheros telephone support was super; they promised me credit and asked me to find another garage which was impossible. (I ended up finding street parking.) The credit never materialized. I followed up twice during the subsequent weeks. Finally, almost 3 weeks later, I got an infuriating response chiding me for not being aware that some garages charge oversize fees in addition to the booking fee. Well, no duh, that's why I paid it in advance on Spothero (and have receipts from Spothero that says so.) Who needs this aggravation. AVOID SPOTHERO: a complete waste of time and money.SpotHero
