      I have a prepaid **** card account called PLS Expectations from PLS financial services. The agreement as told is you pay $6.95 per month for using the card as a credit card with an additional $1.50 per transaction fee if using the card as debit with the *** number. But often when going to certain stores such as *************** or ** they charge you the $1.50 fee even if you designate the purchase as a credit transaction and don't use the ***. I've also been charged the fee when making online purchases. The customer service would at first say just make sure you tell the cashier to process the card as credit, then they would say the fee occurs because of the way the store processes the transaction their own way. They will refund a few fees as "a one-time courtesy" then argue and refuse any more refunds. It seems to me this is dishonest. This has been going on for years and apparently they don't regard it as a problem that should and can be fixed. It's a sneaky way to accumulate lots of fees and make a lot of money dishonestly.

      6/3, payment to PLS to pay resident's rent with a payment coupon Went to the wrong account because resident had the wrong payment coupon The payment coupon she had belonged to another resident. In an attempt to move that payment from the other resident to her account, it was not there either. PLS won't help us gain access to this payment, won't process the funds and will not assist us after I called several PLS locations and posted three attempts for assistance on PLS website.

      On March 24th 2024 I had used my xpectations card that I had got from ***. I had last used my card on that same day, March 24th to purchase gas at a gas station which I paid $24.00 for. Once I had gone home I started to receive text messages about my account being charged in multiple places for the amounts of $102.99, $61.80, $76.00 and also another $24.00 so I was charged twice for gas at the time as well. I immediately went to *** which is located on the corner of my house and as I was there explaining my situation my card was being used. The employees working there had said it was being used for utility bills and I had to cancel my card and remove the remaining cash. This is the second time that I have purchased an xpectations card from this specific *** location and then it randomly starts being used after Ive used it to purchase something. I had called the bank company and explained what happened and they began to tell me that it would take up to 90 days to receive my money back. I called a few times after to see if anything was resolved with the fraud on my card and there were no answers and they were rude treating me as if I was trying to get money back that I had used to buy things even though I had told them the cashier was seeing the messages I was receiving as I was in the *** location talking to her. This has now been over *************************************************************************************************************************************************** not. This is completely unprofessional and that money was fraudulently taken from my card without my permission. I want my money back and it seems I will never get it back. I need help getting this issue resolved because I am getting nowhere on my own. If I can not resolve it contacting the BBB I might have to go to emailing the news because this is just wrong and I dont appreciate how I am being treated. I am an elderly women who does not have much. Please help.

      Hello ! I would like tonrepprt PLS **** / ************* I have been using green PLS card service for a while but all of a sudden something has gone wrong. Just like **** of America, PLS has block and attacked my purchasing activity with Alexiexpess only. I would like to bring this issue to the Better Business Bureau to resolve this issue. I would like to continue using green PLS card to purchase items from Alexiexpress website. I am able to use the card to purchase items everywhere and any where except "Alexiexpress" honestly this is harrassment and tormentation towards a consumer. You should take note and take full responsibility of your employees actions towards my financial account with PLS. If this issue with PLS is not resolved I will continue to make complaints to the Better Business Bureau. Complaints to the Better Business Bureau can affect  future business contracts that you may encounter in the future and so this issue should be resolved if brought to your  attention.

      I contacted 0 and I was told i had to wait for the transaction from pending today to post to file a dispute which could take 90 days which i feel is unfair knowing i reported this person on face book scamming people. I don't appreciate it and I want my money refunded to me asap. This is very upsetting, and I feel they need to be punished. I requested the money back and they keep denying it and i want to be advocacy for people in my community and I am very upset this happened to me.

      I tendered a check in the amount of $5,700 to a contractor performing work at my home. The next day, he was given a warning and was told I had stopped payment on the check. (I had successfully stopped payment with my financial institution immediately prior to this conversation. The next day, he was fired.Three days later I received a call from PLS and I was told that I owe them $5,730. I explained the situation to them. The next day I confirmed with my bank that the contractor ran the check through PLS the day AFTER I'd told him I'd stopped pay. I contacted (by voicemail) the representative I'd first spoken to and informed her of the date he received the cash from PLS. A different rep called back the next day, still demanding that I pay the money to them. I wrote them a letter and sent it via ****** In it, I included all the evidence I had even 3 written communications by the contractor telling me he was going to pay the money to PLS. I called them again today because I had not received the paperwork the claimed they sent out the day of the first contact. I asked if they'd received my letter. They still insist I owe the money and that I basically had no right to stop payment on the my own check.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      It is the SAME response about a 3rd party authorization.  The BBB has already received ALL the documents from ME between PLS and myself. 
      I am speaking with a local reporter about the fact that a PLS location cashed a check presented by this individual that was dated 2004!  Also, this same PLS location cashed a check that had a legally placed stop payment on it obviously without verifying the account before handing over $5,000 to ******.

      On 12-22-23 I did A stop payment for the amount of $434 and was told to wait 45 days. That amount of time has came and gone and still do not have my money order. I have called and called left messages and email and voice messages to no avail. Today is March 1 and still do not have my money or a solution!!       Back in December, I was promised that money will be returned after 30 days. Every time I reach out to the center, I was notified that the individual manager will call to handle this issue which never came.I purchased Blank money order for $299,00 (Date: 12/01/2023). I lost the Money Order and requested a stop at 12/4/2023. I gone through the proper procedures of the 30-day waiting period but ever since then and forward, the same individual say that she needs to talk to her manager and nothing is returning, this is why I am here filing a complaint because this should be handled better. Her name is ************************* and I have no contact info of her manager that supposed to calling me back to handle this issue.

      I am rejecting this response because: I don't know what information other than what I have provided for the BBB. The only information they have about me is what I have already given you. is  All I kjnow is I have signed and fill out the form for PLS and paid them the ***** fee they charge for a stop payment on the money order in question ,on December 4th 2023 and the  manager ***************************** assured me that I would be hearing from her within 5 to 30 days
      which I did not. I called Ms. *********** several times and made trips back to PLS and spoke to ************* in person on 3 seperate occasions and was always told the same thing, that she would have to call her boss. It is now February 21,2024  and I have heard nothing other than PLS have to have my permission to give a third party my information that they dont have other than what I have given BBB already.  This is a tactic to keep from giving me the ****** owed to me,

      I purchased two money orders one on 9/30/23 for the amount of ****** serial number #********** The second money order was purchased on 11/20/23 for the amount of $****** Money order serial # ********** That said both of those money orders were rejected by my landlords bank . ***************** My landlord notified me on 12/08/2023 and provided me with his bank rejection letters for both of said money orders. On that same date 12/08/2023 I when to the establishment located at ************************************************** ,were I purchased both money orders and spoke with the manager on site .He ran both serial numbers of the money orders and verified that neither of them were cashed. And he stated that their was an Internal issue with both money orders. And I wont have to pay Stop order on them because it wasnt my fault they were rejected.So he gave a the Money Order Stop Payment Refund Application for me to fill out . He then faxed all the documents to pls247 head Quarters . Assured me that I would receive my refund within (21) days. I call their headquarters and all I get is mind games no refund no solution iam behind 2 months on rent because of their incompetence . I am on a fixed budget from disability my funds can only go so far. This entity is holding my $580.00 hostage. I need to reimburse my landlord for those two months of rent. ASAP.

      This lame  response dose not reimburse me my funds of $580.00 This is a Cop out,  from these corrupt capitalists pigs . I want my refund of $580.00 not an excuse from these thieves. Who is the BBB protecting the corrupt enterprise?  This is  unacceptable response.  This pathetic response is what these corrupt entities hides its misdeeds.  BBB needs to shut this corrupt enterprise down . If BBB thinks this response is a resolution then BBB is complying with pls corruption. BBB is protecting the perpetrators not the consumer.. Do better and be-diligent and get this corrupted enterprise to reimburse me my funds .Not an excuse they give everyone  the same excuse.My money orders were rejected by my  landlords bank .My money orders were not CASHED , pls has my funds they need to refund me not steel from the less fortunate.Do your job BBB and get these corrupt enterprise to resolve this issue excuse from them is not a resolution.       I am rejecting this response because: Deflation from responsibility from this enterprise is not a solution , and by far a satisfactory response to my missing funds of $$580.00 . If BBB accept this bogus response from this enterprise as a solution to this  issue then  BBB. Is in compliance with the the fraudulent predatory practices of PLS.,establishment . BBB isnt doing their do diligence on behalf of the consumer. If BBB  thinks that sugarcoating PLS247  predatory practices is a solution then we the consumer are dome. PS: my money orders were not CASHED nor were they lost they were just REJECTED by my landlords bank. PLS, has my funds be mindful and help me resolve this problem thanks for reading.
