had my PVC and Rod sewer line drain and spent over $3,000 with this company 4S Plumbing and was given a 5 year warranty on the work they did. I discovered this past July water was sipping from the sewer line they installed and called the company and spoke with the manager on multiple occasions from July 26,2023 through October 5th, 2023 with multiple lies from him trying to get an appointment and was always given an excuses trying to schedule appointments. Finally on October 11th he sends one of his employees to my residence and he discovered that the CLEAN OUT CAP was permanently sealed my the original work from this company on October 1, 2019 and needed replacement and he would replace it. He contacted (The owner/Manager) and told him what was needed. I over heard the manager say "We are not going back there to complete it" I was furious and I told his employee let me speak to him over the phone and ***************** up on me unprofessional. Mind you my warranty is still active until next year and I'm still covered. I made multiple phone calls to the manager and left messages and sent text messages and the manager will not return my calls as of today November 2,2023. I will never recommend this unprofessional company to anyone period!! Save your money and headache!!

Thanks for bringing this to my attention as I was completely unaware of this complaint. This work was taken care of in October so I'm not sure if the customer just didn't close this out or if there is something else going on. To give you some context about what happened, we sent a subcontractor out there originally in 2019 to estimate this work. The plumber started the job. The customer paid the deposit. When the work was completed, there were a couple issues and we had to send someone else out there to fix it. When everything was done, we reached out to the customer about the final balance. She said she had already paid it, but we had no record of this. We then found out that the plumber fraudulently told her that if she paid cash that he would give her a $475 discount if she paid him in cash. We advise all of our customers not to pay the plumbers cash. However, she took advantage of this without reaching out to the company and he essentially stole this money from her and the company. He was immediately fired and a police report was filed. She called about a leak in 2023 but there was some dispute if this was covered mostly because the job wasn't paid for in full and the warranty was expired. However, after full review of everything, I made the executive decision to honor this repair and do this work as a courtesy to her and there would be no charge to her for doing this.
This work was done early October and should close out this dispute. Please close this out or call me with any questions you may have at ************. I have attached the original work invoice as well as the invoice that we zeroed out for the courtesy work to remedy the issue. Thank you!

      Complaint: 20815629

I am rejecting this response because: I have the original receipt dating October 1,2019 with a completion date of October 8,2019 Showing PAID IN FULL. I originally paid $375.00 for an emergency service request on September 30,2019 which I paid INFULL to ****** (employee),  I was then quoted $3,000.00 for the entire project, But a $100 discount would be applied if My husband *************************** and myself Paid IN CASH. Here is the breakdown of payments on September 30,2019 a cash payment of $375 was given in cash to ****** (Employee of the company) for an emergency service request. Myself and my husband *************************** was give a quote to complete the job, October 1,2019 I went to the *************** ************************** to obtain a building permit of which I paid $250 for the PERMIT out of my pocket. The company didn't provide any permits .Also a City Inspector also was on the property on October ****** to see the Permit. A down payment of $1,500.00 was given to the company in a Cashiers Check to get started  on the project. On October 8,2019 the project was completed and the remaining payment was given in a cash payment of $1,025.00 was given to ******(Contractor/employee) the $375.00 was also  added to the balance for a grand total of $2,900.00(I have the original invoice stating the payments received and final balance was paid in full. and a $100 discount was applied because we was told if the  majority of the payment was CASH ********************* would discount us $100 making the grand total $2,900.00. The receipt that the company Four Seasons Sewer and Plumbing is INCORRECT that you all received and does not match my original receipt I received from *********************(Owner) dated 10-8-2019. There is a lot of discrepancy from the letter that company sent to BBB to you all that I received today December 1,2023. The Owner also text me on 11-28-2023 asking me to send him a copy of my original proposal and acceptance document due to he had lost his original. So the document in question that Four Seasons Sewer and Plumbing sent to the BBB does not match the original documents I have as well as the amounts that was stated from the company and the dates of service does not match. I have multiple text messages between myself and ********************* regarding the work that was performed and complected on 10-8-2019 whereas I paid with two cashiers checks one for $ from my bank ********** and payments of cash to the contractors work  for *********************(Four Seasons Sewer and Plumbing). I have to many text messages dated from 10-1-2019 through October 2023 that I could noy upload to validate my truths. Also it stated a 5 year warranty was included for any repairs due to the original work which should expire October of ****. I have pictures and videos of the work in question. I've tried  contacted ********************* on July 26,2023 due to the area was leaking water where they originally did the plumbing work and he was not  answering  messages. I then made multiple message and he then informed someone would come on 7/27 and was on the way. No one never showed up. I kept leaving messages and finally on 8-22-23 spoke with **** at 10:15am he would call back at 2pm with an appt. Still again no call back I kept calling the entire month of September and was unable to leave any messages due to voicemail was full. Then Out the blue i receive a call on October 11,2023 from his contractor ***** to come to assets the issue and he informed me the original cleanout cap was permantlly sealed and he need to unseal it. Just incase in the future we ever need to rod it out  ***** called and  informed  ********************* what was needed he screamed at  ***** on the phone and informed **********; was not coming back to our residence to do nothing. Again I contline to call ********************* and he refuses to answer me. My husband called from his phone number on November 20,2023 and he answered and told my husband to send over pictures of what needed fixed with the cleanout cap and we sent the pictures on 11-20-2023 and has yet to hear back from him on a resolution. I then received a text message on 11-28-2023 advising me they were closing out the invoice, I responded to the text message and informed the company they have not fixed the issues and I was sent a message asking me for a copy of the original documents dated 10-1-2019 and I told them they need to come fix the ongoing issue and they have not responded back.  I have more pic and documents if needed. I would like for this company to fix the issues and I am still under a 5 year warranty and still waiting on the company to call us back as of today12-1-2023. Thank you.

      Sincerely,

Not responding to attempts to contact for warranty work. 4S plumbing installed a water heater for me and after 6 months the water heater (which is under warranty) needs its venting fan replaced as it makes an extremely loud noise. I confirmed with the manufacturer that the unit I bought is under warranty,However 4S plumbing is not honoring their promise to complete warranty work that I am entitled to given our agreement. They are not answering calls or sending out technicians to replace the broken water heater vent fan

I immediately paid the entire bill at the time of service of a toilet replacement, on April 2021.***** was the servicer, and I handed by credit card was charged me $595, which my receipt and my credit card statement reflect. I was notified that the bill was paid in full. This service was performed in April 2021, almost 2 years ago. I had not received sufficient notice until I received a text and email on February 2023, this month, that I owe $199. I was notified if I do not pay, it will go into collection.I came into the office to discuss the issue, and ***************************, the owner, refused to speak to me.He stated if I called, through his Ring doorbell, that he would discuss the matter with me if we called him at the business phone number. The following call, minutes later, was answered by the receptionist, who and stated that she had spoken to the owner, and that he would call us tomorrow. I also emailed the owner, with no response.I did not receive a call back, and the owner is refusing to speak or discuss the issue.

      Hi,

I have attached the invoices for the customer ***************************. I'm really not sure what the complaint is about and I' also not sure what she is referring to about the Ring doorbell situation. Also, I could easily be reached any time at ************ and I don't have any customers screened. As for this complaint, I'm assuming she's saying that she paid it but it is clear that she didn't. If she has some proof otherwise that it was paid I'd be glad to look at it. This invoice was comprised of two different jobs that were done for her. The first one was done on April 8, 2021 in the amount of $595.00 and the second one was done on May 14th in the amount of $199. She paid the first invoice for $595 but did not pay the second one for $199. The sign offs for each job are also attached with the customer's signature. I'm not sure what the discrepancy is as both jobs were clearly done and only one was paid.

      Complaint: 19515637
      To whom it may concern:

I do not accept the response made by 4S Plumbing for a number of reasons:
      1. Lack of Communication
Will has been very difficult to get a hold of this year after the invoice in question was sprung on me, seemingly out of nowhere, in January. It was so unexpected that I did not see it until February. There had been no correspondence for a long while between myself and 4S Plumbing (4S). The work in question dates back to April of 2021.
On February 8, 2023 my attorney and I went, in person, to 4S Plumbing. We spoke with **** over the Ring Doorbell outside of his office. He claimed he was not in office that day and that we should call him on the main line. **** said that he would talk to **. We called the main line four times that day. The receptionist claimed that **** would call ** back. He never did. These calls are logged in my phone. We then sent a February 10, 2023 email, also with no response from Will. For a number of days, 4S spammed my email and texts with the same invoice. Will never did call back or respond to my email.  Will failed to engage in good faith discussion of the matter in question, hence the filing of the initial complaint.

      2. May 14, 2021 Invoice
      (a) I stipulate that the April 8, 2021 invoice for $595 was paid in full. However, regarding the May 14, 2021 invoice, for work done on May 25, 2021 (due to my rescheduling for that date), ****'s worker, *****, at least according to the invoice, came to the house regarding the toilet he had installed on April 8, 2021. He proceeded to tighten the toilet seat, which had been left loose upon initial installation by him. ***** never informed me of a charge regarding the toilet seat and it seemed that its tightening was, more or less, a correction of an installation error.
      (b) Contrary to what the invoice indicates, the discussed reason for *****'s visit that day was to look at the shower in the same bathroom. Upon inspecting the shower,  ***** pulled debris from the wall as well as grout from the bottom of the shower before kicking a rather large hole into the wall next to the shower, which was already brittle from water damage (see attached images). After receiving a tip for his time, ***** then left, stating that he needed to get supplies to replace the shower. He did not return that day, though he left me waiting for hours without a call. The hole in the wall, however, remained. It would not be repaired by 4S.
In the following days and weeks, Will and I corresponded via text and email regarding scheduling of necessary shower repairs. The lack of grout caused a gap in the wall that allowed water to seep through. I did not want the hole or the lack of grout, to make matters worse. I reached out by text on May 26, 2021 asking for an update. **** stated that he was not feeling well and that he would get back to me the next morning. On May 28, 2021, **** stated that ***** was in discussions with a supplier and that **** would get back to me with a quote for the much needed repairs. I further reached out for updates on May 30, 2021, and June 1, 2021, respectively. On the latter date, **** responded that 4S remained in the process of acquiring supplies. In response, I asked for a timeframe for the work that needed to be done. After a string of text messages and emails failed to clarify matters, on June 25, 2021, **** asked if he could reach out the next week.
      Will never followed up.

      3. Termination of Services and Replacement Labor
Over the next few months, the condition of the shower, the floor and the bathroom walls were, unsurprisingly, worsening. As early as June of 2021, I felt compelled to look into replacement labor.  It was very difficult to find, much less at a reasonable price. In October of 2021, I again contacted 4S to see if repairs could be done. **** claimed that there had been personnel issues and attempted to reschedule another set appointment. Frustrated with the services provided on the heels of poor communication, I canceled the appointment and terminated 4S's services.
Also in October of 2021 I obtained a Certificate of ******************** ultimately contracting with Re-bath to provide replacement labor, as part of a larger, overarching set of repairs that expanded to include the kitchen floor. Unfortunately, it took until September of 2022 for the job to be completed. The total cost of the work done was $26,146. It is unclear how much the damage done by ***** on his May 25, 2021 visit contributed to the overall cost. However, as the shower was left in a state of disrepair without grout and with a hole in the wall for such an expanded period, it is safe to say that the amount of his contribution to the ultimate $26,146 total paid to Re-bath was more than the the $199 listed on the May 14, 2021 invoice. 4S contributed to the damage that needed to be repaired. I am sure that the $199 is more than offset. Legal action against 4S may be taken in the future.

      Best regards,

      ***************************

I'm not sure what the complaint is here. I think there is just a misunderstanding of the bill on the part of the customer. I see what may possibly be causing the confusion., She was billed for a service in the amount of $595 for work that was done and she paid for this. However, there was another job that was done for for $249 but was discounted to $199. One of the girls in the office Added this job to the previously paid bill instead of creating a separate invoice for the two different jobs. If she's like, we could break down the two jobs into two invoices if that is what she is requesting. Regardless though, I have provided sign offs for both jobs that were done and signed upon completion. There still is a balance of $199 due. I will offer not to add the late fees as stated are due and she will be responsible for if not paid within 30 days. I did not add this to the invoice yet and will not do so as long as this is paid soon and this complaint is closed out. Also, I was never aware that she had come to the office and I definitely do not intentionally try to avoid any customers. I'm not sure where all of that is coming from. However, this is not something that needs to be discussed in person as it is cut and dry that these two jobs were done, signed for, and due in full upon completion. Please call me at ************ with any questions about this complaint.

I have attached two separate sign offs. I thought these were previously attached. If so, is the customer stating that she wasn't aware of these two different jobs and didn't sign for it? It looks pretty clear that she signed both of them and they are the same signatures. These were done a little more that 1 month apart. Also, there is not need to mention the job for $595. There is no doubt that that invoice has been paid in full and nobody has ever disputed that. The invoice in question is the job that was done a month later for $199. I could break this down into two invoices if that will eliminate the confusion. Other than that I'm not sure what the discrepancy is. Someone please enlighten me!

      I am rejecting 4S's response.

Will attached two so-called sign-offs. Granted. But if **** had taken the time to actually look at what he submitted, he would have seen that I never signed on the "sign-off" for $199. And if he took the time to read my previous responses, he would have understood that from my point of view, the work done in May of 2021 was ***** working to resolve a faulty installation, which was his handiwork in the first place. As this was the case, I was never presented with the invoice that Will claims was a sign-off for the "job" in question. There is no need for further condescension on his part. It remains cut and dry that I had no knowledge of the document until he decided to send the January invoice almost two whole years after the fact. ****'s inability to keep up to date on his paperwork is not my responsibility. Nor is it my responsibility to pay for his mistakes. ****'s most recent response continues in the same vein as his previous communicationslacking in good faith with a fair share of gas lighting. This is business practice in its lowest form.

Thank you again for your kind consideration of the above matters,

      Best regard,

I'm not really sure what the argument is still about but there are two invoices both with the same signature and sign offs. Anyone looking at these documents could clearly see that. If the customer has a different argument then that would be a different story. However, she is stating that she never signed the invoice for $199. It is pretty clear that she did. If someone with the BBB has a different viewpoint on this then please share. Otherwise please close this frivolous complaint. Thank you!

I hired 4S plumbing to reroute pipes in my basement which included laundry and washtub hook up. I also had them re-pipe an ejector pit. The plumber did half the job which was the initial pipe reroute and ejector pit. He stated he had to wait to have my contractor finish framing to do the rest. The company came out, installed a leaking laundry hook up, and never came to instal *************** hook up. After multiple communication attempts and promises of coming out to complete, no one ever came back to finish the job and I still do not have a washtub hook up. This job was paid in full up front. I have made several phone calls and was told on several occasions that a plumber was coming out and has never shown to finish the work. *** left several calls with the owner of the company with a promise of a plumber or no response. I am going to have to pay my contractor to complete this work. I will be forwarding the bill for completion from my contractor to them as they did not complete the service paid for. I also had to have another plumber out as the ejector pit stopped working and he had to redo all of the plumbing as the catch valve was installed incorrectly by 4S behind drywall, and this plumber had to cut out new drywall to reinstall the pump and replace all pipes as this was done by 4S incorrectly.

I am rejecting this response because:
I was charged for work that was not done, my pipes were not insulated, and they left holes in the walls from the rush job they had to complete after avoiding my calls and request to finish the services I paid for  2 weeks previously. There were multiple text made to the plumber and owner. The owner is not taking responsibility for his company or the plumbers he employs. They came out to defrost pipes on Christmas and while doing that they ruptured the pipe and had to fix. Another company felt with the flooding from Christmas ever. Their job was to simply defrost my frozen pipe. It took multiple calls to the owner and the plumber over weeks to get work paid for done. They finally came out to finish their work after several days of phone calls to the owner with multiple no call no shows and took me contacting the bbb and my credit card company to dispute charges and discuss having another company come out to complete their work emergently to get the work done. I have spoken tot he owner about this and do not want to work with this company again. I have had other companies out to fix their work. All complaints to this company should be investigated, as you can see the time frame from when this complaint was made and addressed.

Here is the contract for *************************. The bottom line is that we performed this work for her. There was an issue that she needed resolved a she tried calling the plumber directly for weeks. ************ no longer worked for us. She should have tried calling the company instead and finally did two weeks later and i told her I would get someone out there to resolve this. I sent out the plumber **** who stayed there for half the day to get all the issues resolved for here and she said they were. Then she goes online and post a bad Yelp review, then goes to BBB to leave a complaint, all things that could have easily been resolved directly by me as I have offered many time as you could see in my text correspondence with her. It is clear that she was not looking to get these things resolved or we could have done this. She had other contractors working on here job as well and she was never at the property when people were working and I think a lot of things went wrong as she failed to correctly communicate, plan and coordinate this work effectively. She had a contractor close up walls before things were finished, and pump line work done on the wrong side., It was a big mess and I think she knows now that she should  have been more involved and should have connected the different contractors so everyone was on the same page. As you could see i even offered to go back and insulate the pipes and patch the holes, but she said that she was ok.

Hi this contractor certainly never offered to come back and wrap the pipes,  or redo their work refund any service, or fix the ejector pump that their plumber improperly installed. The plumber was there when my contractor wanted to put drywall up and told my drywall era they could finish drywall if and he would come back and finish his install. He said his job was completed. I was in contact with the plumber, this companies owner, and my contractor daily and was at the house daily to supervise what was done, however was not staying in the home during construction. After the subpar work that was done, I have had to Have 2 other companies come to redo the work that was done. I was never offered a refund for the subpar services that they provided. Nor would I let this company back in my house to touch any plumbing after the horrible, unethical and, incompetent work that they performed. It has cost me well over what I paid them to have the work redone.  This owner needs to take responsibility for the people he employs.

hired 4S plumbing to reroute pipes in my basement which included laundry and washtub hook up. I also had them re-pipe an ejector pit. The plumber did half the job which was the initial pipe reroute and ejector pit. He stated he had to wait to have my contractor finish framing to do the rest. The company came out, installed a leaking laundry hook up, and never came to instal the laundry tub hook up.

As I previously mentioned, there were multiple contractors working on this job and it was not coordinated correctly by the customer. While the job was going on, ********* was complaining to me about the problems that she was having with another contractor. ************** confusing us with the work that was done by the other contractor. I previously attached the signed contract that we had with the customer and it did not call for ** to wrap the pipes. However, I did reach out to the customer and offered to have this done for her at no cost. She declined our offer to do this. Also, we did send another plumber named ************ out to the property to repair anything that she requested and the plumber spent a good portion of the day at her property to resolve any of her complaints and then some. I made sure that this plumber communicated with her and myself directly to make sure everything was done to her satisfaction before he left. She said everything was fine and that there was nothing else that needed to be taken care of. I have also provided screenshots of this text correspondence. Despite all of our efforts to resolve any complaints about the work, she proceeded to leave bad reviews on social media sites including Yelp and ******* then made a complaint on the BBB platform. She also tried disputing the credit card charge for the work that we had done after it was completed, but the credit card company ruled in our favor and declined her request to refund the money to the customer due to false claims and inconsistent information she provided which made based on the documentation we provided to them. She is asking the BBB to have us return to complete the work, but as you could see this was something we already offered to her and still offer to do so if she's like. She's also requesting a refund but there is no valid reason to refund anything as this work was done, signed off on upon completion, and paid for. I'm not really sure how to respond to this because we offered to do what she requested except for return the money which she is not entitled to. If she would like we could come back out there one more time to fix anything that she claims was not done or done incorrectly, we could do that. Feel free to call me at ************ with any questions you may have or any additional supporting documentation that you feel was not sufficiently provided previously. Thank you!

I am rejecting this response because: again. Maybe I should have filed several separate complaints for all of the issues. First being that I paid up front and never signed any completion once work was done, second multiple incorrect installations by their plumbers and several leaks that have since required repairs, in which one repair was made by their second plumber who came out to complete a job their 1st plumber did incorrectly, and then what he did not complete. I was working with one contractor and one plumber from 4S. I was at my house daily and was in constant contact with my trustees contractor who waited on a plumber who insured me he knew what he was doing and was late or no showed for scheduled appointments that were coordinated with my contractor to complete a job. Again I initially called my credit card company when work went I completed and they held the funds and only then did someone come out and complete the job that had been paid in full previously. My error for trusting that when you pay for something you assume it is going to get competed correctly and as promised. Lessened learned on who not to use for plumbing services, and again this owner has never reached out to me after the fact! Again I have  had 2 plumbers out to fix their work since and would be happy to forward the bills if he would like to cover his incompetent plumbers. I do not want what happened to me to happen to anyone else and the BBB should change their tainting accordingly! Thank goodness for Yelp and ****** reviews!

      Sincerely,
