      Their primary concern appears to be collecting rent and charging unnecessary fees, with little regard for tenant well-being or maintaining the properties to proper standards. The communication from this company is among the worst even when the fault lies with them. While ******* from the compliance department is a pleasure to work with, her efforts are limited to following the companys policies and working within the confines of their business model, which prioritizes profits over tenant satisfaction. Retaliatory measures are often used when tenants request the company or property owners to uphold lease terms, fulfill agreements, or fix issues in a timely manner. The so-called "emergency number" provided is purely for optics, as nothing is treated as an actual emergency, even critical situations like the heat going out during winter. This company disregards tenants' schedules, personal lives, and mental health, adding unnecessary stress, particularly in sensitive situations like pregnancy. Ive experienced anxiety and significant stress due to their lack of professionalism, to the point that I now feel its better to report them to regulatory agencies rather than continue direct communication. The rent being charged is nearly $4k, with annual increases of $100, yet nothing about the property improves. There are unresolved rodent issues, malfunctioning systems, and over 19 city code and permit violations none of which I was aware of before moving in. Renters deserve homes where they can feel safe, comfortable, and respected not bullied or ignored. For those considering renting from this company, I strongly urge caution. Do your research thoroughly, as tenant rights and basic standards of habitability seem to be afterthoughts to this organization.

      RPM has been managing my reantal property since 2014. They have found me great renters and my rents have gone up from **** in 2014 to **** this most recent renewal- which is the best part that they try to renew leases and keep my tenants happy so they stay longer. They send me rent on time and their accouting statements are great for my accountant who has complained about other pm's One of the things that concerned me when my first renter moved out is that they didnt withhold money from the security deposit for the fact that the toilet was not working and I was sure that it was damaged but i've seen since then that they hold the tenants accountable when it is the tenants fault (even for regular maintenance like a battery not working for a smoke detector) but will also hold me accountable when they dont believe it is the tenants responsibility- I feel this is fair and makes my tenants realise that they are also being looked out for... even though I was pretty upset that they didnt take "my side" This is probably why my tenants typically renew their lease.Since then I have purchased and handed them over 4 other houses to manage in the chicagoland area Thaks for your hard work team

      As a property owner, this is my second time ever using a property management company. At first, I was doubtful and concern whether or not if Real Property Management Company would be capable of balancing the needs of both myself as a landlord, as well as helping to resolve the matters of my tenants in a professional and unbiased way. During my relationship with RPM team have been an absolute pleasure to deal with in the last four years, whenever I need to call or have anything done in respect of the property. Especially when it comes to staff member, *******, who I have got a chance to developed a good business relationship with her over the phone, which have made my life stress-free because she is very knowledgeable, personable, and always has an open ear to listen to what I have to say, and then she starts quickly to investigate, and answer all my questions and concerns in a timely, but professional, calm manner that will put my mind at ease. She is definitely a great asset to the company, and I hope she will be around for the long-haul!!!

      15 requests for repair were placed, 6 of which were urgent including dishwasher leak, floor peeling, screen door falling off, water tap leaking, and door handle coming off/ key not working. They only repaired one of 15 and that was to replace the dishwasher after 3 months and threatening not to pay rent. I later found out the previous tenant had placed in work orders for allll of those and neither one was attended to.

      The will collect tenant rent but if there is a repair that is needed, they greatly inflate the cost and offer no alternate solutions. They use third party contractors and have very little oversight. They claim to have processes when renewing leases, but do not provide a paper trail of the process happening. Communication throughout the business is difficult, and the turnover rate of property managers point to a larger issue. They are out to grab money, with very little customer service.

      They take the money and run. Office number doesn't work and high turn over rate. Prices have also been drastically increasing. They will not bother to show the apartments for rent which is driving away *********.
