I hired ****** and Zion construction to remodel two of my bathrooms in October of 2020. Upon completion of the job I expressed displeasure with the shower tiles be side they looked installed sloppily and uneven, along with the grout. He told me thats just the way they settled and there was nothing he can do about it and refused to fix it. Given that I had to have him replace the quartz countertop for my vanity because he gave me a stained defective piece originally, I elected not to press it further and move on. Fast forward to 3 years later and I noticed a leak on the other side of my shower wall. After plumber and insurance assessments it was determined that ****** did not seal my shower properly with any caulk so it was not waterproof. It had been slowly leaking on the bottom of all sides, getting under my bathroom floor tile and in the hallways ruining my new carpet. Floor tiles were removed to mitigate the water damage and I then discovered ****** did not even lay the tiles properly. He glued them directly onto the plywood subfloor instead of using a cement board properly. This caused further issues and my entire bathroom now has to be redone due to the damages caused by his install. When I notified him about this problem to inquire why he would have installed them this way among the other issues with his workmanship he told me sorry he doesnt think there is a problem and refused to even come look at the mess his company caused. My insurance company found him at fault for a terrible job where he cut corners and caused over 20k damage to my house. I request a refund for the faulty work he performed in my home.

****** shared in writing that he provides a 3 year maintenance warranty.  I did not sign a certificate of completion for the work.  The shower has been slowly leaking since his crew left due to the lack of proper sealing and waterproofing.

I have been working with ***************************** for over a year on an addition to our home- Fall 2022-present.I have paid ****** over 112K for the job. The nature of the dispute is that the job is not complete. ****** promised to finish staining the ceiling of the carport that was constructed. Promises have been made via text since the Spring of 2023 as he said during the winter the stain would not set properly. I said that it was fine to wait until the spring. Since the spring there have been at least 8, maybe 10 communications between us where ****** has promised the job to be completed, and it has not been done. Our last in person visit was a payment of **** dollars that was to include a fixing of pavers and the completed staining of the ceiling. The pavers were done, but not the ceiling. Recently, I called him and he finally texted me that hed be getting the stain. I have not heard from him in over a week now. This pattern is nothing new. Communication between us, and then nothing gets done. The attached text communications are the basic story. My phone does not save messages that far back, but these type of messages have been going on since summer. Most recently, I texted ****** to ask him one last time to communicate about the final staining job. This was on 10/24. I have not heard back.
