I applied for a RAL holiday tax refund before reading reviews which was my fault. I got a email stating that they needed my w2 to complete the application. At that time I seen reviews on the company, and I also wasn't comfortable paying $500 for fees when I been filling my taxes on my own for the past 3 years with no issue so I didn't proceed. I then filled my own taxes with turbo tax and got rejected from *** saying my taxes were already accepted! I never got a notification from Taxnet and they never had my w2. Im now going to amend my taxes which ***** because now I have to wait. I need my information thrown out and deleted I DO NOT WANT TAX NET FILLING MY TAXES PLEASE.Business Response

Dear Ms. ************************************** "We" completed the services requested which is to (1) apply for a Refund Anticipation Loan and (2) electronically file YOUR federal and state tax returns. "We" have attached a copy of the signed agreements to perform both services simultaneously.
"We" have contacted the consumer and further explained our responsibilities and services as described in the signed agreement. "We" encourage consumers to consider ALL options prior to applying for a Refund Anticipation Loan. A Refund Anticipation Loan is a loan and is not YOUR actual refund. When you apply for a Refund Anticipation Loan YOU must agree to also electronically file a bona fide tax return with Taxnet Financial. If you are denied for a Refund Anticipation Loan YOU are still responsible for tax preparation fees. There are no upfront tax preparation fees charged to consumers because the fees are not due until the time of IRS federal or state refund disbursement.
To protect the privacy of our client "We" will not discuss the specifics of this account but "We" have resolved this matter professionally with our client.
"We" look forward to servicing you again next year and "We" appreciate feedback always.

A Refund Anticipation Loan (RAL) is a loan it is not your actual refund; it is a short-term tax loan in anticipation of YOUR income tax refund being paid by the ************************************. A tax preparation company doesn't have any control over the underwriting criteria used for a RAL decision.
You can file your tax return electronically without applying for a Refund Anticipation Loan (RAL) and obtain your refund from the ************************ (***) to avoid finance charges. The information related to refund options are clearly displayed and provided in writing. We disclosed in our initial consumer onboarding that we are a tax preparation company and that YOU may be denied for a RAL furthermore if YOUR only purpose for engaging with Taxnet Financial **** is for a RAL "We" would not proceed with the request. I am rejecting this response because: I have talked to them on the phone. Once again they said it would be in my account in 12 hrs and never showed up. Then when I said something they changed it to not until they received my final w2s. But with a holiday loan they are suppose to send it 12 hrs after excepting. They are a joke and should get there license taken

Dear Ms. *************** you are owed a federal tax refund, you can elect how to receive your refund and whether you want to apply for a loan product. Of the options available to you, some are free, while others have costs including fees if you apply, and are approved, for a loan.
A Refund Anticipation Loan (***) is not your actual refund; it is a short-term loan in anticipation of YOUR income tax refund being paid by the ************************************. With a ***, instead of transmitting the entire tax refund to YOUR account, your tax preparer instructs the *** to transmit YOUR refund to an Electronic Refund Deposit (ERD) Account established for YOUR benefit to pay any outstanding fees.
YOU must meet all underwriting criteria for the *** funds to be approved and released. Taxnet Financial **** "We" assigned a manager to YOUR case and YOUR *** has been now been released. To avoid delays in *** processing "We" recommend that consumers only send complete and accurate information to avoid funding delays.
We will not discuss the specifics on this public forum ;however, this matter has been resolved with our client.
