      Purchased (2) pre-owned high tread depth tires from them via ***** One of the tires received developed a leak in a previously patched area less than a week later, which cannot be fixed! This seller has put me thru hell! Make a long story short, they do not have an acceptable replacement tire to send me and have offered an account credit only if I return the tire. Problem is, when I had their tires installed, my old tires were scrapped and I have nothing to put on the car in the meantime to return their junk tire so I can buy a replacement!

Sometimes they can step in and help resolve issues with sellers. Alternatively, maybe you could ask the seller to provide a temporary tire or cover the cost of a rental so you're not left without a functioning car. Its unacceptable for you to be in this situation after making a purchase in good faith.

      I am rejecting this response as it is totally absurd!   How can you reasonably expect **** to get involved in your company's advertised warranty on their web site?  Your company already advised me that you do not have the same brand/same model replacement tire to send me and if I want a refund,  I must return the defective tire in order to have it issued!  The tires I previously had might have been low on tread, but atleast they held air - but I do not have them any longer as they were recycled when your tires were installed!  Do you expect me to put my car up on blocks while I return your defective tire and wait for a refund in-order to go buy a replacement?  Shame on you and your worthless warranty!

      I am rejecting this response because it is totally unreasonable to expect any consumer that receives a defective tire from you to first return that tire before receiving either a refund or a replacement. Nowhere is this mentioned on **** under the terms of your advertised warranty - which I relied upon when I made the purchase. You previously advised that you have no acceptably-comparable replacement tire to send me, and you won't even issue a refund as you claim that I must return the defective tire first, which leaves me no usable tire to install and drive on in the meantime!  This smacks of fraudulent and misleading business practices at the very least.  Shame on you!  Future Buyers Beware - Especially Veterans!

      I ordered RUN FLAT tires from United Tires and within 2 wks one of the tires had a ***** (bulging walls). This means the tire is defective and the walls are weak. I contacted the company who said they cannot replace the tire because I have to report the issue within 48hrs of installation! How? The issue wasn't there in those 48hrs. The walls has weakened as the 2 wks went by. And will continue to weaken and buldge. They refuse to acknowledge or to resolve this simple issue, so I would recommend for anyone to STAY AWAY FROM UNITED TIRES!!!!!

      I ordered 2 tires from United Tires website. After multiple days I finally received an email from the owner that my tires have shipped. 4 days later, ***** tracking shows that the package is still not in ***** possession. I contact the owner and he told me that the tires I ordered were already sold (this is now a week after I paid). My car had a blowout and left me stranded on the side of the road and nearly totaled my car due to the wreck the blowout caused. This is because my tires are late. I was forced to drive on bad tires because the owner of United Tires failed to inform me that the tires I paid for are out of stock. Instead they chose to take my money and send no tires or update until I sent multiple emails. I want the tire company to send me my tires and also provide a refund for the trouble they caused due to their unprofessional shameful business tactics.

      I am rejecting this response because: I am unable to return the tires because *********** or **** won't ship junk tires, and some of the postal workers laughed at me for even trying to ship the tires because they are obviously garbage. Even if the companies did agree to ship the junk tires, the cost of shipping would be greater than the refund amount. Please refund.

      Just bought tires they described as in good condition on their company website. The tires were delivered and do Not fit the description they advertised online. They say they offer a satisfactory return policy but they CHARGE the customer to return the ********************** which of course, is very expensive. They could have provided a picture of the tires but then, no one would purchase them if they saw the extremely weak condition of the tires. In my case, the quieting foam is all torn and burnt out of the tire? Their ad mentions that there may be a minor repair on certain used tires but they were referring to a small repair patch, not the main reason for purchasing this particular type of tire, which was the quieting foam... I would like a full refund of my money and for unitedtire.com to pay for the return shipping charges.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      United Tire requested pictures yesterday that clearly show the extremely weak condition of the tires but I couldn't send them until today due to it taking me time to figure out how to attach the pictures. United tire's description said the tires may have a minor repair but these tires have Multiple repairs and are not equipped as they were described because one of them has all the quieting form burnt down to nothing and almost completely ripped out. United Tire's description made it seem like the tires, at the absolute most, might have a single patch repair and this clearly isn't the case with either of the tires. I again request that United Tire does the right thing and pays for the return shipping so I can return the defective tires that weren't described accurately and get my money refunded.

      I ordered four tires from United tire that were supposed to have 5 1/2 tread. Five is what is required for a lease return to not have to buy new tires so 5 1/2 wouldve been perfect. However, the tires were nowhere near 5 1/2 and customer service after me sending multiple pictures are asking me to send these four heavy tires back to them. The tires were thrown out, they had no tread, were not safe and even had patches where it appeared screws had gone into them. I thought theyd issue a refund but they refused

      I am rejecting this response because:

      They are not telling the truth, but luckily, I have the email thread screenshots attached. I went back-and-forth with them many times. I did not get a this is good customer service kind of feel from them at all. It started with them telling me they dont guarantee even tread and that if the tread in any place is 5 1/2 it should count, you can see internally what they said back-and-forth even the woman thought they should be refunded, but ultimately the guy who is on the email as head of customer relations told me to send them back on my dime and they would look at them and decide whether to give me a refund or not. I was already out , almost 200 at the time and I certainly didnt trust them by then to spend another bunch of money sending them from ******* to ******* only to hear they deemed them 5 1/2 at some weird place on the Tire  thats their scam probably, they know no one will pay to send these tires back, especially after the way they talk to you

      In our sale policy, we advertise that used tires will never be entirely worn across the tire.

      This is why we provide pictures of the actual tire with a measuring gauge in the middle groove.

      Still, we are happy to take the item back and issue a refund.

      Unfortunately, our customer is refusing to return the item and, most likely, using it to try to get a refund on top of the item.

      they sent me bald, unusable tires, and just like it says in the attached email correspondence from them, they would only cover the cost of the shipping of the tires back to them, which would cost me more than the actual tires themselves if I were to buy more tires from them, and obviously I was not going to do that after they continued to lie to me. Who in their right mind would get an even deeper in costs with a company like this ?

      I bought two used tires from this bussiness. I paid over $70 to have them installed. Three days later my tire light came on my vehicle. It was the two tires i bought from united tires. I took them back to the business that installed them for me. They inspected them and both tires had pinhole leaks on the sidewalls. I contacted the seller and was told I should have notified within 48 hrs. They were small leaks and my tire light came on the third day. Do not buy from these people. They claim to have all these checks done on these tires and the two they sold me were defective. I lost out on over $240. These people should be ashamed of themselves.

      I placed an online order on February 22nd for a set of four used tires. The payment I used was PayPal Express which I have a receipt in the funds were posted immediately. The tire company still has yet to send my package because they are saying they have not received the funds. PayPal has specifically sent over emails and also receipts to show it has been posted to my account and the payment has been made in full.

      Untied tires sent me two tires for an order placed. One of the tires had an obvious stab hole that you could plainly see from the inside. I had to pay for the mount of the defective tires and I had to pay to dispose of the defective tire. emails from: ******************* I have two problems. I just got back from the ***** store and they said I needed two labels one for each tire. So that was a wasted trip thank you very much. And the cost to mount two tires is ***** not the 30 you reimbursed me. I expect to be compensated for the entire cost of mounting your defective tires.       We would like to inform you that our customer received 2 replacement ********************** (more expensive than he purchased initially) + reimbursement for the installation of the tire ($29.99 his receipt shows).
      On top of that, per our agreement, he had to return the original items to us and never did so.

      I am rejecting this response because: I sent the tire back with their own RMA number once I got clarification in the email that they didn't want both tires back. In fact it was shipping before I filed this complaint. I want the entire cost of mounting both tires of the defective set since they promise to send inspected tires. They had to replace the set because they could plainly see the hole in my picture. Then they only expect to pay for the mounting cost of the defective tire? I had to pay to mount the defective SET then pay to mount the replacement SET. This is not fair to the consumer considering they were derelict in their own stated duties.

      I am rejecting this response because: They only covered the cost of the mounting of the defective tire in the set of two which was $30. The total cost to mount the set was actually $69 dollars. I also had to pay for the mounting of the second set of two they sent in replacement which was an additional $69.00. I expect them to pay for the total cost of mounting the defective set which would require them to pay an additional $39 dollars.

      On top of that, you received an invoice to your email in seconds after the payment was taken and you saw what was in it.
