I purchased a prebuilt dropshipping store from ************ after they advertised: A custom-built from scratch store (not templates) A money-back guarantee if dissatisfied A fully optimized store ready to start selling However, after purchasing, I received: A templated ******* store using the Shrine Pro theme (not custom-built). A generic store that was not optimized or unique. Dear BBB,I am filing a complaint against EcomHub regarding their failure to deliver the promised services. In August of 2022, I entered into an agreement with EcomHub to launch a business on Amazon through their Done-For-You (DFY) Amazon FBA package. They assured me that they would handle all aspects of the business setup and management.Despite paying the sum of $6800 upfront for their services, it has been over two years have passed, and EcomHub has failed to fulfill any of their promises. They have not assisted me in launching the business on Amazon as agreed, and I have received no tangible results or progress updates from them.I did have some health issues that I reached out to the owner ***************************** and he agreed to refund half of the money($3400). Recently, I tried to reach out to them to no avail. I demand a refund of the remain balance of $3400 payment from EcomHub due to their failure to provide the services they promised. I joined the Ecomhub done for you program for ecommerce on amazon for $3997 in November 2021. They explained me how everything worked told me how much money I need and The team started to look for a profitable product, they found one and we started to look for a supplier in ***** and started the production, we basically were ready by the summer of 2022. We did the budget spreadsheet, and I was told that with $10K I can start making profit, but the reality was far away from what they promised. At the end of august 2022, I opened the amazon store to start selling my product. I had meetings with their Amazon Ads Specialist and started to do the *** for my listing, spent a bunch of money in the first 2 months did some sales and that was it, after that we did lower the bid for the *** and the sales went down, basically I was spending on *** more than I was making sales. Why they didnt say that at the beginning with the first product you wont make any money, all you going to do is just spend it on ***. Plus, to all this when you join the program, they recommend you get the program with the company that takes care of your LLC taxes and so on, which clearly you do not need it when you are starting, it is just to do business. I did everything I was told to do, and my seller account is a failure. This is definitely not for people that have 15k in their bank account. I had my last money invested in this and now I am in debt. Amazon is charging so many fees that it is impossible to make a profit, and they clearly knew about it. I just want to get the money I invested in their program of $3997 back. I did contact their support team on 06/2023 and they said they wont refund me the money I spent for the program. They do say that they lean on massive success rates of their program. I did joined the ************** of ecomhub and spoke with other members of the program and all I spoke to said that it was a failure for them as well. This clearly doesnt work.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:I do understand that I am outside of the refund window. But how do they want a person that is new to this to understand in the first 30 days of joining the team that this is a failure and that it won't work. I spoke with several students that are part of the *** with Ecomhub and all of them told me that it didn't work out for them as well and it is a fail.Ecomhub has to tell the truth from the beginning, but not to give us false hopes in believing that here we can earn good money, when the reality is that we lost time and lots of money. I got in debt because of their promises. They showed me the revenue of how much I can make if I go with this product, that is why I chose it. Lots of information that they are telling us on the video it is hidden behind. Why they didn't say that with the first product you will never earn? With the first product all you do is just waste money to get on amazon and just to understand how everything works. All this is a lie.I am not asking Ecomhub to get my money back for the inventory or for the ads that I lost on Amazon . All I ask for is to get my money back that i paid for their program which is $3997. This clearly doesn't work.

We have reviewed *************** recent response and once again request the BBB dismiss her case as she has not provided any evidence of Ecomhub violating any terms outlined within the agreement attached in the previous response. While we always strive to provide the best opportunity for our clients, as we have previously stated we do not guarantee results of our clients product launches as many action steps of launching their products fall on our clients. Many of our students do find success in their product launches and the accusation that Ecomhub provides a failing idea is false. We provide our clients with a product idea that does show opportunity of success and never provided any false pretense or guarantees of product success.
*************** has also acknowledged in her previous response that she understand she is outside of the refund terms of her contract with us. We are requesting due to a lack of evidence provided of any agreement violations, as well as ******************* own admission of being ineligible for a refund, to dismiss this case.

I am rejecting this response because: Ecomhub is not telling the truth upfront about *** business. All they do is selling a dream. Why they didn't say right away that in the first year we won't earn money, why they are not showing the real expenses that are on the *** platform, all this information is hidden from us, showing only a part of it, making us to believe that we can make money, and I am not the first person falling for that. They should tell right from the beginning what to exactly expect from this. I had to be on this road of *** business for a year to understand the real truth behind it. I have lost so much money because of this "ecommerce dream" that now I am in debt. If I would know all the truth about it I wouldn't go down this road. All I want is just to get my money back that I spent for the program.

I spent about $4,850 on their done for you service. As a part of their advertised services, they suggest a products via their research. I sourced this product as they teach in the course were supposed to have vetted and researched to have good margins -(a unique type of wall hook). The product turned out to be patented and was immediately delisted from amazon; my seller account was given a strike and poor rating as a result. After bringing this to the attention of the support team, they dropped out of contact completely. Communication was fine until I brought this up. I was/ still am not able to get ahold of them. I have all the information about the patent and the communication suggesting I sell that product. In short, they charged me for product research and suggested I sell goods that are illegal to sell. (sourcing and selling a patented product). I have had a formal letter sent on my behalf requesting a refund, however they have chosen to ignore this as well. In my descernment I find the actions of ecomhub to be deceptive and illegal under the ***** Deceptive Trades Act. Attatched is the last of any communication I received from them and only after following up weeks after I notified them of the issue.I have since send more emails asking them when I should hear back, emailed and texted ***** the *** ********************************* **************) and cannot get a reply any longer. Before This issue, they were very responsive. I was hoping to settle the issue with them and find another product or something along those lines. As we have reviewed the information provided, we have informed Mr. **** previously that we are unable to provide a refund to his account due to the nature of his issue but are of course more than happy to provide another product idea and help him move forward with the services he obtained from us. As ************ is the owner of the company, he does not answer to personal emails in this fashion and Mr. **** has been instructed to direct his questions to ********************************** but has yet to do so.
Ecomhub also provided Mr. **** with three product ideas, but these ideas are not finalized products. What Mr. **** has provided as evidence is a design patent, which only includes the design of the product that Mr. **** elected to use. While we always strive to provide the best guidance and mentorship for our students, we do not have any control over the finalized design of product ideas as it is at their sole discretion to design the idea as they see fit.

We have spent time reviewing the customers recent reply to the response made, and without evidence, ***** has mentioned he has emailed support and not got a reply. While we do acknowledge that ***** tried contacting the owner of the company, there was no communication that was sent without response to the proper channels provided by the program.
Lastly, regarding the product in question, as we have previously stated, Ecomhub does not provide our clients with specific designs that we advise, but provides clients with the data and analytics of the product keyword data. As ***** made his own decision to use a design that was patented, this is outside our scope of services. Our clients are responsible to design their own product and determine what changes are needed to improve the product.

The problem persisted with no absolutely no client answers to the problems of financial responci blity. The advisor we had made account with us and ecom hub of getting financial assistance to the products they provided. When asked the company passed us on to another provider. The other provider only assisted on taxes and business credit. There were no true solutions we got passed around from one advisor to another. I am rejecting this response because:I purchased the "DONE FOR YOU" program for $9800 - absolutely nothing was "DONE FOR" me. Hard pressed to even receive timely responses and I ended up creating a product, finding a supplier, and launching a product 100% on my own with zero assistance from Ecomm Hub. In my opinion, this is a total scam.
Regarding the response that I am outside of my "refund" window, well, ECom never stuck to their window so that is a null defense. Here is the timeline of communication and copies of all emails are attached.

Upon review, we are aware of the concerns provided about the product ideas that were presented to her and despite the products being provided matching our criteria that we outline, ************************** did not wish to use the ideas presented. Within our agreement, it does clearly outline that we provide a winning product, and despite fulfilling this, provided her additional ideas to see if we could find one that matched what she wanted.
What ************************** defines as "actual legitimate ideas" are in fact defined as such within her agreement and were provided to her on a few ideas. We are hoping to speak with ************************** to resolve these issues still and would continue doing so. With that said, we do not feel that the client is still providing any sufficient evidence to support her claim that she was barred from being provided the services offered within her agreement and request the BBB resolve the complaint as such.

I am rejecting this response because:What Ecom Hub has stated in the latest response is also false as their own expert coaches said they would not launch the product ideas given. I am sure they record those video calls and, if reviewed, will see that fact.
I stand by my initial complaint - Ecom did not provide the service they agreed to provide, communication was lacking, and I voiced my dissatisfaction early on, as evident by my previously submitted proof.
I will accept nothing less than a refund to resolve this complaint.

This company made false statements and promises about proposed profits in an Amazon business. They charged me $85,000 for their proposed white glove service claiming that we would make profits within 3 months of the start date. This white glove service proposed that we would not have to do anything at all except for provide the funding for the product and marketing of the products which totaled about $50,000 in addition to the $85,000 fee they charged. It has now been about 9 months and only 15% of the product funding has been recovered. The product has almost been sold out with no profit at all. As of this date we are now at a loss of $120,000 with no profits at all.Business Response

As they stated I was given an outline, outline is clear that it is 4-6 months. Their ads state amazon store done for you in 6 months, it is 9 months, going on 10. I choose to work with my supplier when we reached 3 months, they said, Oh we are waiting on our supplier" I asked why we not just used my supplier, they stated this is how they do business and if I was to wait 2 more months that supplier would be able to get us a sample. Three months in at this time, and they have no samples, no supplier, they have nothing. At this point I demanded we use my supplier, guess what she was good in a week. When my sample from my supplier was sent, it took her one week, they are 3 month. Great I can now build the product, oh no, ecom tells me they are months behind, and I need to hold my supplier back. I asked my supplier to hold on. It takes them 30 days, but guess what, ECOM is not ready, so again I have to arrange for them to hold the product. The supplier in all held the product three times, and we finally got it shipped, and ECOM has nothing done, not photos, nothing done, it has been 9 months, going on 10, and my product is at Amazon finally with no way to advertise it, no film, nothing from this trash. There is a money back guarantee this is in the cowards ads, I have meet all criteria, they have not matched their side of the agreement. I have many. Many emails of me telling them off and me having to make these cowards do their job. I have meet all criteria for money back, I am unhappy with this service, for Gods sake we are still not there.So per their timeline, yep its there and you still cant make it, I want my money back, I bought the built for you, and got the build your own services. I will be locating all his ads, and anyone involved and begin telling the truth to anyone that can read, these cowards need to be out of business, thieves. Its states. Ecom was to get a supplier or several for the client. They messed this up and I had to get my own supplier. This action cost me 1 month, I told them from the start I had a supplier, they went their own way, and my supplier was not even on the list. I got a sample from my supplier and paid, sent and mailed it in to Ecom. They found me a supplier with wondchimes, but he was 6 weeks out from even making me a sample. I was not told this so another month. When they told me what the hold up was, I was ******, we are waiting on Ecoms supplier for just a sample, wtf. I forced them to cancel it, they agreed and refunded me the sample cost. Finally at this point I can have my supplier make stuff right? Nope, Ecom is way out taking photos and getting advertising up, ok if you complain a lot they get it done. Ecom is to supply and help build a brand name, nope they could not get the simple design right, I had to outsource and send in the new bought by me logo. Ecom reps even asked me for the formula, and I did not mind helping. I had trouble as well as a bunch of people on ******** getting my Amazon account created due to new rules they had, I had to figure it out. I finally get my stuff in the store, ready to sell, and Ecom has not done the video, its six weeks out though! So a program that promises a store, DFU, a money back refund and in about six months will take them 9 months once the video arrives. Money back if they dont do well, yep I have it in writing. So my logo, my supplier, trademark, Amazon account, nothing done for you, and I expected some ********, but you have done nothing, I have done it all. To Whom This May ************** would like to thank the BBB for the opportunity to address a response to the recent complaint addressed by ******************. When ****************** was provided his enrollment with us, he was given course access that clearly outlines all the timelines of deliverables within the program. Upon seeing the delivery date he would be able to review the product suppliers, he notified staff that he wished to find suppliers on his own and continued to work with our mentors to source his product. Despite this, we provided ****************** with a refund on his sample we purchased on his behalf as apart of the program details in both the course and his signed agreement with us.
****************** then continued to argue that our deliverable timelines were taking too long, despite having a clear presentation of all timelines and such upon enrollment to the course. In regards to his trademark, there is no mention in any of our services outlined in Mr. ******** signed agreement indicating that we would be providing a trademark.
Lastly, we are aware that ********************** video for his product was projected to be delivered later than expected. When this was identified our team proposed to provide the video and refund ****************** this section of the program cost. ****************** refunded the partial payment and demanded a full refund despite this being unavailable to him by the agreed upon terms of our contract. ********************** claims that this video would take 9 months to complete are baseless and while he mentions that we offer a money back guarantee if the business does not do well, there is no such language within his signed contract with us.We will continue to offer the partial refund of ****** for the cost of his video requested as well as completion of the video but are unable to provide any additional refunds per the clients signed agreement with us. We are happy to provide any additional evidence to support proof that ********************** claims are false.
