1. Smooth Relocation lied, mislead, and/or falsely advertised to me.2. Extorted me for more money at multiple opportunities. (Low-balling with one price, agreed upon that price verbally and in documentation, and then changed the price when had my things).3. Did not complete the tasks I paid for and that was promised, despite my very clear and repeated communication of all the necessary details. They left our piano outside instead of moving it into the apartment, and they would not even move it to a nearby ground level indoor storage unit.4. Were ****** reckless with every object, despite promising to be careful, destroying or damaging of numerous properly packed items.5. Told me they were arriving tomorrow three times, wasting days of time.Our salesperson "******" said that moving an upright player piano into a second floor apartment with no elevator would not be a problem. We checked that Smooth Relocation can do this exact task numerous times (at least 4). We stated repeatedly that it is heavier than you might expect a normal upright piano to be because it is a player piano. Not only did ****** confirm that Smooth Relocation could move the piano, he included a written "No Bulky Charge for Piano" agreement on our moving estimate since it was not a grand or baby grand piano. The piano was the one AND ONLY reason we hired this particular company. Price originally advertised: $2442.75 The total price I re-agreed to after they changed the price on me after I already signed the original agreement $2592.75.Price I was forced to pay: $2961.75 When all my stuff was already loaded onto their truck, they forced me to sign a waiver statement to full replacement value, instead 60 cents per pound per article.Weight of destroyed or damaged items: 1500 lbs Order# ******** Date of transaction 2/22/2024 I asked them to at least refund the weight of items damaged or destroyed, 1500lbs, but they have only stalled, promising a decision next week three times now.
