            We booked travel to **** (**** and its People ~ Havana (******)). We paid $2,000 for an upgraded room with a balcony. The trip used a different hotel and it had no such room. After we arrived, the hotel, which had never been advised of our paid upgrade, provided a slightly larger room down an outside passage where we got wet every time it rained and which had no WiFi for the first four days. The windows were all blocked with growing bamboo, and not only was there no view, but almost no light came in. It was not a room for which we would have paid extra. We requested a refund of the $2,000. AHI Travel spoke once with my wife and then refunded $600, claiming " That is the difference between the category you received and the Jr. ***** lower category." That was not acceptable and we tried in writing to explain why. It has since ignored multiple emails and failed to communicate. We want our remaining $1,400 refunded. We have copied the email chain into a Word document and it is attached.

            Got covid on recent trip to *****. Couldnt continue with group and needed to change travel plans. AHI boasts about the benefit of $1000 travel insurance. What a joke!!!The company they use, AON, has terrible ratings. Ive been trying to get the money back for months. I sent in what they requested, then they ask for something else. Guess they hope youll give up or die. AHI does not help you at all. You are at the mercy of this insurance company. *** also boasts about making *************** flights if you book through them. They are really quick to get your credit card info but not so careful to get you the best deals on hotels or flights. Booked me in an airport hotel that supposedly had a shuttle to the airport to find it was 20 minutes away and there was no shuttle at the time I needed.
