On May 19th, 2023, I purchased concert tickets for the *********************** and *********************** concert for June 17th, 2023. The concert was at *********** Hills Theater. I bought 3 tickets totaling $267. I arrived at the venue at 7p. Shortly after we were seated, I noticed a plugger in one of the seats advertising the musicians that were performing that day and the rest of the "concert season" at Country Club Hills, *********** noticed that *********************** wasn't on the plugger for that evening show. I got the attention of two ushers at the venue and questioned the plugger. I asked them if *********************** would be performing that night and they told me no and then directed me to two people that worked for Country Club Hills Venue. They asked me if I wanted to stay at the show and I informed them I did not. The two city workers took us to the box office to receive a full refund. Once there, the city workers informed the clerk to give me a full refund for the tickets I purchased totaling $267 (3 tickets + tax). The clerk asked for the same credit card I used to purchase the tickets. I gave it to her. She informed me the tickets were refunded and put back on the credit card. I asked for a receipt, and she informed me she couldn't give me a receipt at the time. While there, and according to the flyer I saw, I purchased 2 tickets for the following weekend for the ***********************, show on June 24th, totaling $270. I waited a week to call my credit card company and to check to see if my refund posted, I was extremely disappointed to find out it wasn't. I called ticket master and was told I needed to take the matter up with the venue. I went to the June 24th show in hopes to see one of my favorite musicians, whom I had to save all Spring to purchase tickets for. Get to the venue and there's a sign *********************** was not going to be there, again. His replacement was escorted off stage 10 minutes into the show. I am requesting 1/2 refund for that show and a full refund for the first show.
