I rented from another company ,IStorage took over the business,soon as the took over they gave me a payment date of the first of the month, I asked if I could have another payment date they said no. So since Ipay through my bank I decided to pay one month in advance,so everymonth at the end of the month Iwould send them my payment,they took my payment and put in escrow and said I still owe them ,charged me with late fees,put in on my credit ,and denied me access to my unit this was between August and November of 2021 as soon as they took over then your company, BBB stepped in and corrected the situation. So since that time I have been paying faithfully the amount requested. Now they have started their same deceptive practices again. Now they have started charging me ***** extra and taken my payments with late charges and denied access to my unit.I have been paying one month in advance and it has been ok until now they say i owe another $88.00 and again denied me access to my unit. Please help, just want access to my property that they are trying to steal and destroy my credit, and take my money that has already been paid ,my research show that IStorage gets an F rating for repeatedly doing this to their clients please help again so I can remove my storage,it is from my deceased brotherBusiness response

I (IStorage Crestwood PM)spoke with this tenant regarding this matter on several occasions. The additional $12 was for insurance. ALL units not covered under a homeowners or renters policy (that we need a copy of declaration page for file) were accessed this fee. Tenants were notified by mail in February that this was happening starting March. As a courtesy I offered to waive any late charge this caused and she was given the option to provide a renters or homeowners declaration to avoid the $12 monthly insurance charge. ID ******** was also informed that upon her wanting to end her rental what the process entailed (she would have to be moved out before her next payment date to avoid addl charges).
If further discussion is needed tenant is free to visit office during the hours of 10 - 6 Monday-Saturday. Closed on Sunday.
