    I attempted to retain this law office to handle an eviction case in Danville Illinois. I contacted them on June 6th 2024 - I was provided a point of contact and a received an email from point of contact with instructions to process payment. I followed all instructions as email reads and sent payment. I did not receive any notification that payment was received or updates on the case so I began to call - when I contacted the office I was told that my point of contact is out of the office. I requested if there is someone else that can give me updates on the case - I was told by the front office secretary that the office does not call clients to provide updates and they only call when going to court. I asked that the call was escalated to a manager - at which the billing specialist comes to the phone and states that she is the office manager. She did not give me an opportunity to speak and then proceeded to hang up the phone. I called back multiple times and they ignored every call sending it straight to voicemail. I waited about an hour and attempted to call back to have a refund issued and they continued to hang up the phone. I attempted to leave messages for the attorneys per there automated system and requested a refund is issued.
