I took my car in to get its oil change they put a fuel system cleaner alcohol based in my car I left there with my lifters ticking. There was no metal shavings in my oil at time of service. Prior to this speedlube has always done my oil changes on this car I've had for one year. Also my car was making zero noise when I took it to speedlube. I had to have my car towed in to their mechanical shop. The mechanic advised me that it just so happened my lifter started ticking when I left there. That it was a coincidence and there are metal shavings in my oil ( no metal shavings were in my oil when the initial oil change by speed lube was done) However I got a second opinion and I was told that they put the fuel system cleaner in my engine and since it was alcohol based it took all the oil off my lifters. I spoke to Mr Tripp and he did not help solve the problem. I also had another oil change done on my car (which fixed the problem) and a mechanic look at my car and there is nothing wrong with my car to have caused an lifter tick. This business not only lied to me once but lied to me twice and refused to help fix the problem they caused I never got a refund back on my money or even an apology. I went out and spent $5,000 on a brand new car which I never should have had to do!!!! Business should own up to their mistake! This was the Pershing location who did the oil change. During my oil change I heard a man yell " no no no" very loud at his workers I had no idea it was regarding my car. I am sure if video surveillance is checked this will all show. At this point I am thinking about reaching out to an attorney.
