    On 3/14/24, I went in for an appointment to get my hair done. The services that were provided for me were unsatisfactory. The hair was braided to tight to the point where my hair was damaged from the style. The intended style I requested was a simple medium sized box braid. The service I was given was for a smaller box braids which were advertised to be more expensive than the medium box braids I requested. The style was starting at 170 and I was expected to pay only 200 for the style, however I was charged 250 for the entire style. This is the same price for the small box braids which I did not want at all. I have tried coming to this place during their posted hours of operation, however upon entering I found the place abandoned during their hours of operation. I have tried calling the place and have not received feedback of any kind. Half of the left side of my head has suffered from balding because of the style, and the hair fell out only three days after this was done. I am requesting a full refund for the damages and inconvenience that was done to me.

    Hello this is the owner of My 1 Hair Solution. I personally called and left a message for the client. I was trying to align the client's schedule with the service providers. She complained of a few braids that came had out and I told her that was a simple fix. The client chose to pop up to the salon on a day that were out. On the day of the clients service, she came in the salon with fine edges. The service provider braided the braids towards her face to camouflage her hairline. The client requested longer braids which cost more. Our Medium box braids start at $200. Thats is always quoted before a client meets with the service provider. The braider always gives the final quote. We have signs in the salon that states, "no refunds or exchanges.
