Midas car repair was done improperly by employee. The wheel bolts to the rear alignment were left loose and not tightened after alignment. Significant damage to the car occurred as a result including suspension , ball joints, inner tie rods, inner ball assembly, destruction of rear tires from a thread depth of 8/32 to 1 /32, basically balding the rear tires in 3000 miles or so, and car rental expense during the repair period, the total damages of $2291 per receipts. Documentation was presented to store manager ***** Pessico at this Midas location, ***** said the owner in **************** , a *** ******, would need to approve any refunds. *** refused to look at documentation and hung up on us when contacted by phone. *** ****** owns 8 Midas locations in different places and obviously is an ignorant owner. As of this date, he did not even bother to look at submitted documents concerning the damage to vehicle that were left at the store on 1.20.2025 with ***** the manager at the DesPlaines store.

Mr. ***** has been going back and forth with this complaiint,  Originally had the vehicle serviced for an alignment at Midas on 11/8/2022 at ****** miles. It was then serviced by ******* Hyunda on 11/17/2022 at ****** miles, and again on 11/29/2022 at 72,309.  Midas performed a warranty alignment on 1/9/2023 at 73,000.  Additional work was performed by CarX on 1/18/2023 at 73,417.  On 5/26/2023 at ****** he had front-end work done at ******* ********* This is repair that he accused our technician of leaving a nut loose causing the tires to wear out.  Customer never reached out that he has a problem with our work until January of 2025.  If there was an issue we should have been contacted at the time of the repair, not a year and a half later and with multiple shops doing different work on the vehicle.

Please see attachment of vehicle history.

Our warranty covers the work done at our shop, not performed elsewhere.
