Horrible. I came to buy a car and was given an OUT-THE-DOOR price for a Honda Odyssey ($44,100) on the phone and right when I walked in the door. ****** confirmed it for me, my husband, and my father. After we test drove the car and waited about 45 minutes, she gave us a new price of over $48,000?!? She acted like we were crazy to think the price she told us was correct. No apology, no explanation, no accountability. Horrible. There may be honest salespeople at this location, but ****** ******** is not one of them.

DO NOT BUY A USED CAR OR BUY VEHICLES FROM THIS DEALER OR ANY AUTONATION DEALER! Although they are probably selling Hondas, they have a great reputation and no need to cover up issues before selling new cars. They will supply you with a checklist showing that the car has been checked out and there are no issues. Then they offer you an extended warranty of at least 4 times what you can buy directly. Also offering an Auto Nation short-term warranty at no cost. The result, I drove the car what was supposed to be a fully checked out car home 1100 miles noticed a few things, and wanted to get it checked out. I took it to a Porsche Dealer because there were no Auto Nation dealers close and I wanted someone who knew the car. End result what this dealer noted as a perfect and checked-out car, ended up costing me another $3000 plus fixing what should have been caught during the Auto Nation inspection. They refuse to admit this was an issue and will not cover the gap between what the short-term warranty did cover and what it cost me out of pocket! If it is not a Honda do not buy it from them. It is January 2025 and the management of Autonation National and Autonation Honda has yet to respond to my requests for reimbursement. This indeed shows that even the parent company not to mention the dealer itself would rather me continue to publicly post on ************* I will continue and I would highly recommend that you not do any business with Autonation not to mention Autonation Honda.

I had a very bad experience! On 11/18 evenings, we visit the store. The salesperson was extremely rude and disrespectful. The manager along with the salesperson grabbed the paper sheet from me. The salesperson in particular, was threatening and yelling. This is an extremely UNSAFE place. never come here!

On 9/27/24 I took my Honda Pilot for a routine oil change to AutoNation Honda O'Hare ************************************** . The service department suggested I also have a wheel alignment, SDC transfer case service, 2 tires replaced and replace the front control arms-lower. Thankfully I went with my gut and declined the front control arms work. I decided to take it to another mechanic for an estimate. Low and behold the other mechanic discovered that my car didn't need the front-control arms replaced. I showed him the picture that was sent to me from the service advisor and technician from AutoNation Honda. The mechanic said that is not a picture from your car! Another question that came up was how could they perform a wheel alignment on a car that needs a front control replaced. As I went over this in my head it dawned on me that every time I have had service done at AutoNation Honda, the technician has sent a video from under my car. This time it was a still picture. I am so disappointed that this happened. I was being taken advantage of probably because I am a woman and not a mechanic. I will never go to this dealer for service again. Now I wonder if any of the previous recommendations that have been done on my car were even necessary. I sent the picture and the paperwork given to me on date of service to Honda HQ. As of today I have been sent numerous emails and text messages to schedule an appointment for the recommendations. Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions.

If you're buying the lifted 2013 silver F150, buyer beware. If you hear the squeaking noise on the front right side while driving that changes to match your speed and they tell you "it's part of the lift" they are full of c*** We asked to take it to someone else to find out what was causing it as we have experience with lifted trucks and they aren't a moving part. We took it to a mechanic a few miles away who drove it and put it on up on their lift. The right front breaks are bad. The calipers are sticking and wearing the rotor, which needs to be replaced. The wheel would not freely spin while on the lift when tested in the air. The dual exhaust is rusted and unsealed and hanging in the muffler held by a wire. The tires are from 2013 and dry rotted( one is 2019 but looks bad too) The back left has uneven wear due to poor alignment. The drive shaft has the appearance of being warped and wobbles when inspected under the truck. The left ****** on the mirror is out. We returned to tell our sales lady but she got the manager. We then told *****, the used car manager, of our finding and asked for him to repair the safety concerns of tires and brakes or come down on price. He said he can't change prices due to the one price policy. He then said he would need to have the car sent to the back to be fixed. We said perfect what would y'all fix. He said the blinker and exhaust. When we asked about the bad condition of the tires and faulty right brake he said "we have others coming in to look at the truck today so if it's still here after we can discuss fixes". So I then asked so you'd sell this truck to someone like this as-is? Isn't there safety checks? He said "everyone is entitled to do their own due diligence". Unfortunately someone will take their lies and take an unsafe vehicle not knowing. The dealer and used car manager know about these concerns and if this car is bought and crashes due to these issues you have yourself a good law suit. This place is shady.

This company is pretty sleazy. They are dishonest and will scam you out of down payments if you allow them to.

Over the years, I've regularly purchased cars online and traveled to get them. Over time, I've had mostly wonderful experiences doing so. However, with AutoNation Honda O'Hare, I've had the opposite. When initially reviewing the multiple photos of a RAV4 they were selling on Cars.com, it looked like a pretty decent car for the money. After calling to inquire, I agreed to purchase the vehicle and travel to get it. Well AFTER I signed the purchase agreement and purchased a plane ticket...the dealer texted me a picture of the same car with a significant amount of paint missing next to the hood (looked PERFECT in the photos I had seen previously). Even though I signed the purchase agreement based on pictures that clearly showed the same vehicle with NO damage to the paint, they refused to fix the damage or budge on price - NOT A *****! So, I got to eat my $400 plane ticket and continue shopping for my college son's car. Please think twice before doing business with this dealer. They clearly do not care about the customer or doing the right thing. Needless to say, I was pretty surprised when this dealership, after completely misleading me into buying a plane ticket, wouldn't even consider a small reduction in price to deal with a car with a known factory defect causing the paint not to stick to the primer.

I bought a ****** Corolla 2014 on Jan 2nd, **** from Autonation Honda O'hare. At the time of the delivery, I found that there was some issue with the Audio System of the Car and told the dealership to fix this issue. The dealership fixed half of the problem but half of the issue still exists (the Audio System Display is replaced but the front speakers are not working). *************** Honda told me to go to the AutoNation ****** dealership in ************. The ************ Dealership denied fixing the issue. I went back to the Autonation Honda *********** dealership and talked to the salespeople regarding this and they assured me that we would resolve this issue and its been 2 weeks with no response from them. I regret buying this car as I visited 4-5 times to the dealership in 4 weeks of buying this car.

Purchased a vehicle on Jan 1, ****. Intended to give them a check for the full amount. Told me that company policy would not allow it due to risk of fraud. Although I had hoped to avoid time with their finance officer, I had no choice. It was a nuisance. Had to wait over an hour for to see finance officer. Figured I would pay the first month, then pay my car off after that. However, the finance officer encouraged me (wink, wink) to pay the first 3 months so the company would not be liable for whatever charges they would incur if I only paid for one month.

I am very disappointed with this company. We bought a vehicle from them at the end of March and we still do not have our registration, title, or plates. While working with this company we paid the fees for all of these for our state. They have not filed our paperwork for us to get our plates, title, and registration. It is now May 27th and when going onto our state's DMV website it shows that there is no information on our pin #. I will be filing a complaint. We are never buying a vehicle from your company again!

We are extremely sorry for the delay in registration with the State of Wisconsin, however we have zero control over the speed with which they process license and title applications.  We did issue a 90 day temporary registration that is indeed valid until the end of June, so there is still time for the State of Wisconsin to process the transaction.  Thank you for reaching out to us, we appreciate your business and again apologize any inconvenience.  I would ask this be removed, as the information in the complaint is not accurate.  Thank you.
