      I was involved in a 4 car accident caused by a Kemper insured. My car was one of two cars totaled and there were two passengers with me. My insurance paid for my car minus my deductible. The last Kemper Adjuster assigned to our claim has stalled and ghosted us for 4 years, she returned one phone call during that time. Finally after emailing everyone I could I received a call telling me that the statue of limitations had run out, that they had paid others that were hurt more than me and my passengers and that there was no money left on the policy. They never explained how they ignored our claim to include paperwork that had been in their possession three weeks after the incident. After four years I received my one and only offer (probably an admission of guilt) of $500 which was laughable especially since I had incurred $3,000 in expenses and the passengers in my car had also incurred expenses. Kemper has poor, unethical business practices, and I see that others have had similar experiences. Looks like they are discontinuing Auto insurance coverage As a consumer I feel the entire company should probably be shut down.. There is nothing good to say about my experience with Kemper... I feel I was scammed. If you have a policy with Kemper RUN. If you are involved in a claim with a Kemper insured GET LAWYERED UP.

      If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would This insurance company has been a nightmare to deal with. I was in an accident in May 2024 and despite suffering a back and leg injury that severely impacted my daily life, the adjuster dismissed it as a minor accident. Since my car wasnt totaled, they acted like my suffering didnt matter. Let me be clearsuffering is suffering. Theres no minor when it comes to constant pain, financial struggles, and job loss. I had to take time off work, which meant no paychecksomething I couldnt afford as a lower-middle-class person. I missed over 10 days of work and lost my job. The financial and emotional toll was immense, yet they offered just $250 for my pain, suffering, and job loss. Thats not just an insultits a slap in the face.When I tried to explain, the adjuster became aggressive, threatening to close my claim entirely if I didnt accept their lowball offer. I was given a choice accept their insulting offer or get nothing. Thats not negotiationits bullying. Instead of working with me for a fair resolution, they dismissed my concerns, acting like my suffering didnt ********* gets worse. When I questioned why they only covered 20-25% of my physical therapy bills, the adjuster told me it was because I missed some sessions. I explained that I couldnt drive due to my injuries and couldnt afford ***** so I had to depend on others for rides. Her response? Thats not my problem. Not once did she express any sympathy or understanding.I understand adjusters handle multiple claims, but that doesnt justify to call my accident minorThis company doesnt care about its customersthey care only about paying as little as possible. They will leave you struggling with medical bills and lost wages while making excuses to avoid paying whats ******* one should have to fight this hard to get basic medical bills covered. This is not how an insurance company should operate.

      Kemper is trash they made me pay almost $600 for my first payment after I couldnt login into my account ( it says invalid policy)I went to to office they told met email on fail was wrong and thats was the reason but I received my insurance card via that same email so how the email could be wrong? They told me they will contact me to fix it, they never I contacted them many time and the person over the phone name ***** told me to dont make any payment and wait until he gives me a call to tell me everything was fine, he never did, I call them many time after couple of days I realized that they cancelled my policy I was driving for 1 week without knowing that my policy got cancelled. I called them when I found out but they keep saying they are checking and will call me back but they never did. MAYBE THEY WILL CALL WHEN THE ***** WILL END

      Kemper is a scam its a complete trash company. They are scamming millions of people into getting their money monthly and not doing anything thats promised Im a paraplegic that waited three days for a tow truck to arrive on arrival they were supposed to cover the mileage charge Debt is set in my contract. They revoked the contract and I had to pay out-of-pocket the complete tow, which is those almost about $300. I am a paraplegic that is on a set income and this is unfair to me, they lied they abused and used me and I will tell anyone that is attempting to get Kemper insurance. Do not waste your time.

      My son was involved in an accident that was the fault of a Kemper insured in May 2024. The insured ran a red light which totaled my sons' truck, trailer and all his business equipment. Shortly after the accident an adjuster came and met with my son, took an accounting of all the damage and took pictures. Even with all the information, Kemper was only willing to pay for the loss of his truck. They have been unresponsive to our claims for the trailer and landscape equipment. When I finally did make contact their agent was extremely rude. We were informed that we had to provide an inventory, proof of purchase and pictures when they already had this information. We provided the information and again no response - took having to send a demand letter to get a response. This claim is almost 3 months old and we still do not have a settlement on the trailer and landscape equipment. My son has lost 75% of his business due to their delays to payout on this claim. Now they are trying to tell us that the insured has reached maximum payout so I suspect that is leading into telling us they aren't going to pay for the additional damages. I would give less than a 1 star rating if it was possible. Thank you Kemper for an emotionaly draining experience and leaving us financially devastated.

      If I could give zero stars, I would! This is the WORST insurance company I have ever heard of in my life. They have a lack of communication and doesn't like to pay claims. They denied my claim and have not even communicated that it was denied. I called to speak with a supervisor, no response. The adjuster handling my claim was very rude and disrespectful to me. This company needs to have better communication and online systems to process claims more efficiently. This is totally unacceptable to treat people in this manner! This companies practices are unethical and need revamping. They need to be held accountable for countless customers they have treated poorly! Something needs to be done soon with Kemper Auto claims department.

      Worst company I have every dealt with in my life they give people without a license ********************** and then gaslight the person they hit. I have been going back and forth with this company for an accident that happen a year ago. ************************* lies about helping people and shes the manager. ******* has the worst attitude and provides false information I have yet to be paid for an accident that happen last year in August this company is a huge pyramid scheme. THEY DO NOT PAY OUT CLAIMS THEY WILL LIE AND TELL YOU ITS A LIEN CALL THE HOSPITAL AND YOU WILL FIND THAT ITS NOT ONE. HUGE SCAMMERS

      Absolutely laughable company. Terrible communication, awful payment, didn't cover all of the rental despite their person being found at fault. Their insured driver didn't have a US drivers license. Rude person on the phone. Everything was bad about my experience.

      This is the worst insurance company to deal with first they want to put zero work into having there customers back . Which is like where is the loyalty? Who is paying people? I was coming out of my driveway and the guy I saw him from far away. All I knew was how far he was and the speed limit that was in my neighborhood. I did not know that this guy was gonna be speeding at such a rate that he totaled my car. If Im coming out of my driveway in a residential area, shouldnt the accident be minor not a complete total annihilation of the car. We have no car anymore. My mom is 70 years old and having to go on the bus and ruining her knees basically. I was so ****** because I was injured from the accident. I was stuck in the car for 15 minutes I could not get out OK this guy didnt hit me from the back he hit me from the side and he pushed me into another car so I got squished in like a tuna can can you imagine these two people come out of their car theyre talking to each other they taking pictures of your car but they wont help you out and nobody would help me open my car. I was stuck start panicking going from door-to-door I couldnt get out. The lady that was in her van on her lunch break parked right in front of my building start collecting parts of my car. They werent even a part of her car. They were pieces of my car and this woman wanted to *** me for something close to ****** because you guys when it said it was all my fault its not my fault when is the car is driving 50 miles an hour and he totaled it completely. He was driving 15 miles an hour it wouldve been a completely different accident. We still wouldve had a car. Do you know how expensive cars are now and you guys completely called it is a total we needed a cart. The most irresponsible thing is just completely abandoning your clients. Your customers who are paying you who are the ones making you rich basically this guy couldnt have gotten out of there quicker .

      As we discussed on 01/31/24, after I identified a charge of $577 incorrectly made to my bank account on 01/23/24 by KemperAuto, given that I don't have a car, much less insurance since September 2023. I was informed by you that, 48 business hours after signing the cancellation, the amount would be refunded to my account. Today, 02/21/24, after signing the cancellation, the amount has not yet been refunded to my bank account. What is your response to the delay in a refund of an undue charge? How long will you act as if nothing happened? Due to this theft from my account, I have to serve 30 days to leave the house, my land lord doesn't care if I was stolen by this company, he wants the rent paid. And you guys don't have the ability to solve this problem!
