    I paid for transmission 12/9/24 and suppose to be delivered on Monday was not delivered call on Tuesday they said the driver call said the transmission was leaking I never saw the transmission every time I would call they put me on hold 30 minutes and no one would talk to me was told to file a complaint so I did.

    On April 4, 2023, I purchased a used **** ****** Rav4 Transmission operational. This was purchased via **** Order Number **************. This item did not operate, therefore a return process was started for the item, for a refund. The merchant set up a shipping courier to pick up the item. The courier lost the item in transit to the merchant. Global Auto Recycling **** filed a lost claimed for the item and was awarded monetary. I paid $581.14 for the item and they received a lost claimed by XPO Logistics $1200.00. I did not receive any compensation. I would like a full refund for the item I paid for that did not work/operate.XPO Logistics Tracking# ***-126043, Claim # CC3938672.**** Order Number **************

    We are very sorry for this situation. This transaction was entirely conducted through **** which has very strict rules and regulations for conducting business. We listed a transmission for a **** ****** Rav 4 for the total price of $535.00. Additionally, this price included shipping to ********************** destination which happened to be in **************. We do not charge out of state tax, therefore anything additional to the $535.00 was collected by the state and distributed as such. ****************** had an issue with the transmission and expressed his desire to return the item. We had no issue with the return and again paid to have the item picked up. ****************** is the last person to have possession of this item and is responsible for that item coming back. Unfortunately, the transmission was misplaced somewhere between ****************** having it and the carrier picking it up. Whatever the case may be, this item was never returned to us. **** then ruled that there is no refund owed as a result of the item never being returned. We have paid for both the transit there and the transit back, so there is absolutely nothing owed to this customer at this time. Last, we would like to point out that we are 10 months past this transaction when **** offers 30 days warranty. We are very sorry for this customer's trouble, but we cannot offer anything in the way of compensation at this time. Please feel free to contact us at ************ with any questions.

    I am rejecting this response because: *********** sold a damaged product which had to be returned and their shipping company lost the item. This company was also awarded the value of the item by filing a lost claim. And I was the owner of this damaged product, but instead they filed a lost claim for it, therefore this company obtained money from me and the shipping company.

    We shipped this item out on Roadrunner Transportation via bill of lading # 53210566 and issued pro # 576656086 which arrived at its destination on 4/19/2023. This shipment was booked at a rate of $242.71 and was paid on 4/29/2023. Additionally, the return trip was booked with XPO Logistics via bill of lading # *********** on 5/16/2023 at the rate of $185.95. XPO then issued pro # 487126043 when the item was picked up. This invoice was then paid in full on 7/17/2023. Unfortunately, XPO claims the item was lost during transit. This automatically triggers a claim that is opened up with Priority One Freight on our behalf. Priority *******. is the company that brokers all of our shipments and is the source of the claim. Between Priority One and XPO the claim was resolved in the amount $63.36 and was applied to invoice # 9875802. We have never received any product in return, therefore there is no refund owed on the item itself. Lastly, we have paid out in shipping expense nearly $400.00, therefore cannot offer this customer any compensation towards this transaction.

Also, this item was sold damaged not working and the awarded lost claim should be for the rightful owner of the item not the merchant.

    Bought an engine on November 5 didn't work so I called and since this engine is kinda hard to get they told me to give them a week to find another one and after that week I kept calling every other day and they just keep giving me the run around and it's already been a month since I bought it and throughout that period of time I lost my receipt so now they won't refund me and they still keep giving me the run around

    Global Auto sold me a non-working transmission that I had to return to them. The reference no. of the purchase is ******. I understood that their return policy was no credit or cash refunds and only merchant/store credit was to be issued. The problem arise when trying to purchase another auto part they had available, an engine, they told me the price of it was $1200 and when i presented the $560 store credit that i have they told me the price would now be $1300. When i agreed to the increase of price they told me that they would only accept $300 of the store credit towards the $1300 engine and that they would only accept the payment in cash only. They then told me if i accept to this transaction they would make the remaining $260 store credit null and void. I didn't accept that and they proceed be to act very rude to me. Global Auto does not wish to honor their store credit and are willing to increase the price of their product in front of me. to resolve this i am requesting the refund of the store credit given since they do not want to honor their store credit issued to me.

Additionally, all store credit is good for a year, so any store credit is still valid.     I am rejecting this response because: response is ignoring the situation of what was addressed. It is lacking full acknowledgement of the fact that Global Auto Recycling & Repair, Corp. was not willing to honor 100% of the store credit during the interaction I had when trying to purchase an engine. During that interaction Global Auto Recycling & Repair, Corp. was only willing to honor 54% of the store credit and the remaining would be considered  no longer honored or acceptable. This response lacks actions that would address this issue or lack of a true alternative to a cash refund with store credit that is not 100% honorable. I have no idea if I would or would not have the same result if trying to engage in another transaction and the store credit is not 100% honored with Global Auto Recycling & Repair, Corp.

    On July 5 i purchase Power ************* to install on 2019 Audi Q5, and customer star having issues, so i call today september 25, to Global Auto and they said warranty expaired, but on the back of the receipt said (90 days warranty), if is 90 days warranty expaired on October 5

    I have entered a complaint earlier this year with BBB and Global Auto. global promise BBB that this would be resolved back in July not true. I am still having issues with this company giving me bad transmissions not one time but i have been back to them 3 more times and still a bad transmission. The so call owner *** stated when i picked my last transmission up on 7/28/23 that he promise it works he tested the trans out him self and i received one of the best transmission they have. That was a lie i got the transmission back to ******* to the auto shop and for the shop to tell me two days later the transmission is not capable with your truck the module inside the trans is bad, I have called back to global auto to speak with *** as he requested if i have anymore issues after we spoke on 7/28/23. I did that but every time i call the person (not ***) on the phone states every time *** is outside i leave my name and number atleast twice a day when i call and i am still waiting today for a call back and these calls have been made since august to global. I called today 09/21/23 and ask to speak to *** again the gentlemen that answer the phone told me to hold and 5 mins later another guy picks up the phone and states *** is outside. I politely tell him can i leave a message for *** seeming this is the 5 message left as of today the *************** up in my face as i was talking. I didnt call back because it would have cause them at global to get disrespectful and make me mad. I want my $1000 back this is the 4 transmission i received and it doesnt work and i am tired of driving 2 hours to pick up junk I can go buy me a new trans once i get my money back and dont have to deal with these people again. I am mentally drained and this is weighing heavy on me seeming i been with out a truck or any transportation to work for a year almost because global wants to lie and keep giving me trash but kept my money. I need my money back will no longer do business with this company.

    This customer contacted us back in July and was taken care of immediately. We provided the customer with the exchange per our terms and conditions. Additionally, the customer states that after he received this exchange transmission that within a week he knew it was that it was either not compatible or there was some sort of issue. Either way, the customer would have know at early August at the latest that the transmission needed to be exchanged again. We received the message from the BBB on 9/21, so I am not sure why it took that long to get a hold of us. We have normal business hours of 8am to 5pm Mon thru Fri, so there is always someone here that can help rectify any issue anyone may have. With that said, the customer received their exchange on 7/28, so the transmission is still fully covered under our warranty. Per our terms and conditions, we will be happy to exchange the transmission out. We have the transmission out and ready to go, so all the customer would need to do is call and arrange pickup. Lastly, we only refund money back on used vehicle parts when there is no exchange available, so at this time we can offer the customer an exchange transmission.     I purchased a transmission for my 2007 Saturn outlook on March 23, 2023. First I was given Someone else transmission by mistake and didnt realize it was the wrong trans until my mechanic tried to install it so I called global back they then mention I was given the wrong transmission and someone else has the one that for my truck and to bring it back for the correct transmission. On April 1st 2023 I drive to Elgin 2 hours and was promised this is the correct transmission for my truck and they have tested it to make sure it works well I get the second transmission picked up and finally install to find that this transmission is missing connnector wires and my mechanic stated this transmission is no good. I paid him $1200 to put the transmission in and truck still not moving. I then call Global again to mention the transmission is no good I was then told I need to find a new mechanic because that one doesnt know that hes doing o called global again the following day for them to tell me they will call me when they find a transmission for my truck and it is July 5th and I have not heard anything from Global Auto since June 19. Besides getting hung up on and telling me Im lying.

    Called in around 1 pm looking for a transmission they had posted on car parts.com. Spoke to a guy named ****** and he said they have one in a vehicle that needed to be taken out would take a few days. He then checked his computer system and said he had 6 of them ready to pick up and 300 for each. I told him Ill be there in an hour as I have the core with me. Get to the location and tried to find the entrance. A guy yells out come check in with the office. Go into the trailer and let the guy know I am here for a trans, **** said have 6 in stock. He looks and only seeing the one that is in the vehicle. Asked who I spoke with and I said I dont remember. He named a few people and it was tolbin. He called tolbin and he said yes I spoke with him. Turns out it was 6 engines that they had in stock not transmissions. Frustrated but the rep said he could have someone deliver it since someone lived in ******* and it was otw home. He wrote up the bill of sale and had a core charge on it. 352, told him I have the core in the truck, he only ran the cc for 327 and ****** used a forklift to take it away. We chatted about the cc used as he had a similar card. I was told Friday the trans would be at my residence. Monday I call and a Hispanic guy says oh tomorrow for sure. I call again Tuesday night and sounded like same guy. He said its after 5 call back 8-5 tomorrow. Call in Wednesday morning and same guy answering phone says I dont know what youre talking about and put me on hold. Wait a few minutes and call drops. Called my cc to dispute the charges. Dont deal with this shitshow of a business.

    I found an engine on **** they were selling for $1499 with free shipping. I am local/within an hour drive so I called them and bought for pickup on September 17 where they charged my card $1358 on September 15. I did some checks on the engine I was going to replace and it did not require changing the engine and fixed it for about $200. I called them on September 19 and explained to them the shop gave bad information about the engine needing changed and wanted to return it. I have dealt with ***** for the purchase and return and the front desk refuses to allow the engine to returned. They were not open Oct 8 when I attempted to bring it back so I kept it on the truck and took it back Oct 10th before 8am, they refused to accept it and I called ***** again and he confirmed/NOT that they would take it and came back at 3:30 and they REFUSED again to accept the engine with receipt.Today, I tried to list it on **** to sell and found that the stock number and vin number was not of the engine I bought and could not list it on **** because I did not have real information about the mileage and what it came out of. Also, the flywheel was very rusted and front cover was busted when they apparently took it off the shelf and were suppose to pull it from the car after I paid $1358 on September 15. Obviously a lie and bait and switch and their rating on **** is only ****%. I have disputed the charge with my credit card company and the disrespect and lies coming from this company is not acceptable. I have also reported them to **** since I saw the item there and contacted them because I am local and what they sold me was not the engine I was buying.

    ************** contacted our business on September 15, 2022 in search of a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze 1.8L engine. We informed ************** that this engine was in stock for the price of $1200.00 with a $50.00 core charge and all applicable taxes. ************** agreed to the price therefore, we sent over a credit card authorization to his specified email address of ********************** at 8:23 am on 9/15/2022. This form was then returned to us at 8:50am on the same day and was fully filled out by ***********************. ****************** credit card was then charged out for the total amount of $1358.00 at the time of 1:22pm on 9/15/20. We have never received any **** order from this customer as it has been suggested. Furthermore, when ****************** card was charged out the engine was then signed for and the engine was successfully picked up. Additionally, at the time of purchase our receipt was given to this customer that clearly states our terms and conditions of sale. On this receipt, the vin to the engine which the customer picked up is also clearly legible. Nothing ever was withheld from this customer as all information was passed at the point of purchase. Attached, you will find all the information that the customer received and filled out. Now, our terms state that our warranty period is *********************************************************************************** parts credit only. We do not offer refunds unless the part is defective, and we cannot offer a replacement. This customer has stated several times that there is nothing wrong with the engine and he only wants to return because it was ordered by mistake. We have never refused return and have offered this customer this resolution. We will happily restock the engine in question for parts credit or exchange only.     I am rejecting this response because: I found the engine from a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze on **** from this business. The car was red and had not physical damage and ******* miles. They had it listed for $1499.00 with FREE shipping so I googled the business and called them. I spoke with "*****" and the rest of the information with the business I agree with pertaining to the credit card application and transaction.
    However, I was paying for the engine that was in this car with a stock number of Z67264 and vin # *****************. On the receipt when my neighbor picked up the engine on Saturday 9/17 it was stock number Z65705 and vin # ***************** with no mileage stated or shown. Also, the front timing cover has a big hole in the top of it and the flywheel is very rusted. The reason for paying for the engine immediately was to give them time to pull the engine from the car and I was suppose to get a call from ***** when the engine was removed and ready for pickup. I finally called near closing time on 9/16 to talk to ***** to confirm it was out and ready for pickup Saturday. He confirmed that it was and my neighbor was able to get it loaded in his truck with help from the staff and secured to prevent it from sliding around.
    My neighbor had taken his car to a local shop and they informed him he needed to replace the engine. I did a compression test on the cylinders and read the codes on his car and determined the shop lied to him and he does not need a new engine. I fixed the issues on his car and he is now driving it so on Monday morning I called ***** again and explained to him that we did not need this engine because a shop had lied to my neighbor and wanted to charge $3800 to change the engine. ***** contacted his boss and then told me they would take it back with a 20% restocking fee, which I felt was high but it was better to return it since my neighbor did not have to replace his engine. Unfortunately, his schedule conflicted with the businesses and he could not get it back until Saturday 10/8 and they were closed but have a sign outside that they are open until 2pm on Saturdays. So he took the engine back early Monday 10/10 and the counter people refused to accept it. Then he went to work and I called ***** when after he got to work and he said there was a misunderstanding up front and there would be no problem bringing it back. My neighbor left work early and was there again by 3:30pm and they still would not take the engine and there were several more phones calls but with no results so I decided to list it on **** to sell and found the discrepancy of the stock number and vin number and could not post it because I have no way of knowing the mileage since it was not the engine I was purchasing. I have been dealing with junkyards/recylcing yards for over 40 years and have NEVER had a no return policy like this business. I have read the receipt and there policy is on it as they stated but in all fairness, they did not give me the engine I was purchasing and they can sell it much easier than I can.
    In addition the listing on **** for the engine was ended on September 20 because of "an error in the listing" although I paid for THAT engine on September 15. If the business still refuses to take the engine back maybe they will cooperate and give me the actual mileage so I can sell it but I was willing to accept the 20% restocking fee of $240 minus the $50 core charge for a total of $190 but also, I have made 3 attempts to return it and that has also cost money.     We are sorry to hear that ************** has rejected our response. The fact of the matter is that ************** purchased an engine that he does not. A fact ************** has admitted to several times. Also, ************** may have seen a comparable item on ***** but that is not what he purchased. We provided the customer with exactly what was purchased which is clearly stated on the customer's receipt. We have also provided the order form for reference. We are sorry the ************** purchased an engine that is not needed, so if he is not happy with that purchase then he is free to return for store credit. Also, if he is unhappy with what was purchased then he can come back and exchange for another engine.

    I am rejecting this response because:This business is beating around the **** and not what I call a respectable business. They are ignoring why I rejected the last response and I am not pleased with a business that will only give a credit to buy more from them when they have failed to take their engine back. This is a major purchase of over $1350 dollars. How many miles are on the engine that you sold me? I am going to attach photo's of the engine and the hole that is in the front cover. They took an engine off the shelf and did not give me the engine that I enquired about that was on **** that was still in the car and needed to be removed which is why I prepaid on September 15. AGAIN, why are you not telling me the mileage of the engine that you switched and has a hole in the front cover? Most engines on **** are 800 or more miles away and I am about 60 miles from this business which is why I chose to get their engine. Unfortuneately, the shop that told my neighbor he needed an engine was not an honest shop and wanted to charge ******* for them to replace it. I contacted ***** on Monday September 19 which was the first business day after the engine was picked up and was told it would not be a problem and that is not what this experience has been. Once more, if they will not take it back and refund my purchase price then please give me full information on the engine that we did pick up? I do not want to exchange the engine because I do not need this one. What kind of business refuses to refund the purchase price within 30 days? I have never experienced such horrible customer service and I was told that you would take this back for a 20% restocking fee with is also very hign. My copy of the receipt is not that legible but I think I read that they attached a copy of it. In my previous response I gave the stock number of the engine I was suppose to get with the vin number. I wish I could send the **** listing to the BBB to see the discrepancy. Thank you.

    This engine was not purchased on ***** Any listing that we had advertised was not specified in the order. Again, this order has been attached to this complaint for reference. I do not know why **** is being mentioned as it has no bearing on this transaction. This order was filled as it was received. The customer made no specifications on any specific stock number, so there is no way to know he was requesting something he saw on ***** This customer received exactly what was purchased. Additionally, there is nothing wrong with the engine. The customer admittedly does not need the engine and wishes to return it which he is free to do so. We will happily accept the engine back for store credit or exchange only like we have mentioned. There is no refusal of return nor is there any restocking fee.

    I am rejecting this response because: This business is LYING. I do not know if it is *** who is responding to this but I bought the engine because I saw it on **** and spoke to ***** about everything including returning the engine. I have attached the **** ad for the engine I spoke to ***** about with the stock number, mileage, and vin number and they did NOT give me the engine I was suppose to get. I have no way of verifying if anything is wrong with the engine as I did not install it but the rust on the flywheel and dust that was covered tells me they took it off the shelf instead of pulling it from the car with ******* miles which was the reason I paid for it so that they would PULL THAT engine. Also, their policy on **** is a full cash refund within 30 days. I have sent all this information to my credit card company as well and even some of the phone records about the purchase. I wish this business would have some integrity but apparently they have earned the lowest **** rating of anyone I have ever seen at ****%. I hope the **** information is clear enough to view by the BBB because this business keeps saying things that are not true about this engine and/or the mileage. I have never said there is nothing wrong with this engine because I did not use it. Also, I have included the pictures of the engine from them with a big hole in the front cover and who knows the extent that that damage has caused to the engine they switched from what I was buying from what I saw on ****. The reason my card was charged $1358 on Sept 15 was to allow them time to remove THE ENGINE that I saw on **** with the information I have I have included and sent the **** ad on. I never knew this business existed without seeing it on **** and regret doing business with such a horrible place. One person on the phone says one thing and then you talk to another person and they do not honor what they say. I do recall asking for mileage and info on the engine they gave me which they are not giving.

    My car has been at global auto recycle in Elgin Ill for 2 month getting a transmission put in and every time I call there rude and tell that the car will be ready and it never is also the tell me the my car has brake lines broken wen I just fixed them they are a horrible business bad to customers and have my car and not fixing it correct
