I paid $348.80 on Invoice ***** on 10/26/21 and $400 on Invoice ***** on 11/5/21 for a weld repair on a Tritoon boat & was told it was done last fall only to learn the work was not done in spring when we were ready to have the boat returned to us. We waited and waited for the boat only to be told by the Operations Manager, *************************** that the delay was due to the welding (which he previously said was done in the fall) to be completed. I challenged him because he had told me it was previously completed, but I resigned to wait for the repair and just get the boat back. I followed up week after week, but phone calls and text messages were not returned. I finally showed ** in person to confront him on when the repair would be complete so we could just pick up the boat. Ultimately he gave a date and the boat was put in the water for us to pick it up. However, after several boating outings on the lake, we raised the boat on our lift and opened the cap of the tune to confirm their was no water. (****** assured he NEVER had a weld repair not be successful. In fact, I asked for before and after photos which were never produced.) Unfortunately, once the cap was removed, water POURED out for several minutes which is a substantial amount of water! It was evident the repair was not done at all. I would like my money refunded along with my money for the oil change because I cannot even trust that the oil change was completed! I don't know that this was intentional to start. Frankly, I think it was due to lack of ability to accommodate all the work and service needs of customers with limited manpower. Nonetheless, the Operations Mgr should have been honest about the failure to perform the service & should have come clean that it was not done. He should have refunded the money immediately rather than deceive me by keeping the money & not completing the work! I would like a refund of both services because, again, I clearly cannot trust either was done.
